"Let's get to it then.", Zero said with a smirk.
The Mavericks circled him for a few paces. The alley was narrow, and the only way out was either through the Mavericks, or straight up. Zero knew he was out numbered, but that was the way he liked it. He smirked, and bared his Z-Saber. The brilliant green flash illuminated the dim walls of the cramped alley. The first one came from behind. He attacked with a mid-level thrust lunge. Too easy! Zero jumped, backflipped, and brought the saber down to bi-sect the Mav from head to toe while in mid-air. As he landed, the Maverick fell to pieces. Zero spun one hundred and eighty degrees to face the next attacker. He had a dense length of pipe in his hand, which he had just removed from a wall nearby. The 2nd Mav swung for Zero's head, but he made quick work of his foe. Zero swung the saber left, then spun the blade around again. This reslulted in first, cutting the length of pipe in half, then lopping off the Mav's hand through the fore-arm. Zero dropped low and hit him with a double swoop kick. As the Maverick trippped, Zero regained his balance, and with his back facing his falling foe, thrust his saber through the Maverick's body. 2 down, eight to go!!!!
Making his way through a web of contacts, Zero was able to discern the whereabouts of Mega Man X. He was hot on the trail of the Missing Reploid parts, but learned of X's mysterious break out from Hunter H.Q. His searching had led him to believe that the 2 occurences were linked. He now found himself in a ship yard on the coast of California. Maverick Hunter Headquarters was close to his loaction. This was the last place X was seen at. The only thing was that it happened to be a Maverick controlled port. No matter though, he would find Mega Man X, what ever it took! As he crept silently through the ship yard, he tried to remain inconspicuous. Unfortunately, he neglected to watch where he was going, and tripped an alarm. That was how he found himself surrounded by a commando team of Mavericks.
The third Attacker stepped in. He was using a smaller version of Zero's Z-Saber for each hand. Plasma daggers as it were. He and Zero traded slash for block, and counter for counter. A fourth and fifth joined in, and Zero now had to dodge 3 attacks simultaneously. He thrust backwards again, leaving a smoking hole in the Mav behind him, then brought his blade around to clash against the twin daggers of the assasin in front of him. The blades swung off of eachother, and the Mav gained the upper hand in the tussle. He pushed Zero's blade away from a defensive position with his left, then pivoted off of his heel, and tried to stab backwards into Zero's abdomen with his right. Zero was too clever for this move, and instead side stepped, so that the Mav hit only air. Zero brought his knee to meet the Mav's backside, then finished him off quickly. Five other Mavericks had formed a circle around Zero, as a last line of defense. They all had pulse rifels trained on him, and open fired. Zero swung his blade around to deflect a volly of incoming shots. The first ricochetted off his saber, and struck down the last of the hand-to-hand combatants. Some shots hit the walls, and bounced off of metal pipes. One fell, then a second. The ones in behind him though were more fortunate. Zero shoulder rolled to the left, then ran up a wall, and back flipped over the three in back of him. As he landed, he swept downward. A quick thrust forward, then a spin strike, and that was that. Not bad! Not bad at all!! Zero: 10, Mavericks: Nothing. This battle was over. These guys were push overs anyway. Zero smiled. "Not even warmed up yet!", he quipped. He stowed his saber, and ran off toward the water. All he had to do now was follow X's homing signal. Then, maybe he could find where X had gone off to. Zero found a Decel Titan: Model XVII Speeder Bike. This one was equipped with hover thrust, and multiple vectoring jets."Nice Bike!", He muttered to himself. He hopped on, and revved it up. The engine whined, and roared to life. Zero took off, then fish-tailed the bike, and screamed out over the water with the throttle on full burn. "Hang on X! I'm on my way...." (to be continued.)

The deck of the Maverick's fury was wild with panic. Vile tried to instill calm in the troops as new reports fed in, but it was more than he could manage. Vile was only made to fight. He didn not make the best diplomat, or even a good leader. he was a rogue. He was a loose cannon. It was no wonder that he was failing miserably at it.
Mav techs called out stats as data poured in over the scanners.
"I don't get it! Sir, we've just lost another one!"
"Our Base on Pluto has been Anniahlated! The orbital space station on the far side of the planet has also been destroyed!"
"Mercury, Saturn and Mars stations have abruptly lost all contact."
"We're getting massive system shut down reports from our sister ship, Gamma's Pride!"
Vile screamed into the air! "Enough of this madness! What is going on here?"
The ship's Captain clenched his fist, and slammed it into a wall. "Lord Vile! Isn't it obvious? We're under heavy attack! It is obvious that the Hunters have secretly mounted a counter offensive. It is also obvious that they have rallied supporters. They must have an army the size of Repliforce!"
Vile was furious. "Get Sigma on the holo! Do it now Damn it!" One Mav scrambled to the comm station.
"Sigma! You need to get back here as soon as you can!" ,Vile didn't wait until the image had fully formed in the holo display. He simply started shouting into the microphone the moment he saw he was on-line.
"Vile, you imbicile! What is going on up there?"
"Sir!", the Mav Captain interrupted, "We're under a massive attack! The Hunters have waged a full scale retalliation against us! We're losing ships, and..."
"WHAT?", Sigma raged!
Vile punched the Captain in the head, and sent him sprawling across the floor. "Shut up you idiot!", he yelled.
"What do you want us to do Lord Sigma?"
"Vile! I left you in charge for 2 reasons. The first was because Homing Hawk got crushed by an enourmous hydraullic press. The second is because you are supposed to destroy anyone that even sees us! Why weren't my orders carried out?" Sigma snapped.
"We had no idea! These reports just came in!"
"And you had no warning? No indications as to who could have done this?". Sigma asked.
"It had to be the Hunters...who else?"
"Vile. Unless you can prove that the Hunters were capable of such a thing, then do not waste my time. They do not have the resources for a massive strike. This is more Repliforce's style, but from the looks of it, breathes more of stealth, and subterfuge."
"So who is doing this to is?", Vile asked.
"Who doesn't matter right now. If they've hit us, then they've hit us hard. You need to assemble the fleet. The entire fleet! And I want them in Mars orbit in twelve hours. I have to finish up some work here. If I can, I will try to make it out there. I expect to see a full armada of vessles, and I plan on taking control from here. Until then, do what you have to do to win. Fight, or flee..."
The transmission ended. Sigma hated to say flee, but if the damage was as hard as he was thinking it was, then that might be the only choice they had.
Meanwhile, Dr. Doppler followed reports of his own. He stared in amazement at the flawlessness of the plan he had just executed. Thirteen seperate teams. Each with multiple missions. All strike and fade techniques. His covert operations teams were proving second to none in effectiveness, and efficiency! This was indeed a good day. He had ordered the first strike as soon as all the teams were in position. The reports from the third strike had just arrived. All in all, Sigma had lost 43 total percent of his forces, and all of this in a manner of a few hours! Dr. Doppler struck hard this time. It would be his delight to watch Sigma's army crumble right out from under him. No one could stop him now...especially with a weapon as powerful as this....

(I've already told g-man what is gonna happen and I'm gonna tkae over Dr. Cain's character)

Dr. Cain was in his emergency shelter control room. He was also secretly tapped into the maverick hunters news computer.When he found out that X was so called "went maverick" he was shocked. "Wha-how could this be X infected X needs my help now! but I have no way of getting out this dammed lab! X hold on I will help you." Then Dr. Cain came over the missions in progress and he came acrossed Blade Runners. he saw Blade Runners soldier profile. He saw BladeRunner's picture and it seemed familiar to him "That face I've seen that many years ago as a young adult." He thought about the picture of a human scientist in the news paper standing next to a capsole that could change humans into robos when they were dying. Then he relized that this robot was The famous Dr. Cannon Strife! "How could he still be alive! hmm and he is on a mission to save me from this lab to help X! This is very good now I can help X..." Just then he heared a rumble out side and a robot in a exo suit busted through the wall "Dr. Cain! come with me. I'm from the maverick hunter base the name is Blade Runner" The robot said. "Are you Dr. Cannon?" Dr. Cain asked. "No time to talk Doctor." With that Blade Runner grabbed Dr. Cain and busted through the next wall. When they came into daylight Blade Runner heared a plasma shot towards them "Jump!" Blade Runner shouted. He and Dr.Cain Jumped off the exo suit then the suit was destroyed from the shot. "Heh heh Blade Runner.. what a surprise to see you again..." a voice said "Dr. cain hide now" Blade Runner said to Dr. cain Before he turned around "You!" BladeRunner said with a rage "I thought you would reconize me" The robot smiled evily "I will anilate you..Bass.." Blade Runner said with anger "Well I will enjoy killing you too." The two robot poised for battle "Don't underestimate me Bass....I am alot stronger than you'll ever be!" with that Blade Runner dashed at him..

Protoman X had just finished off the large security patrol that Ryujin X had left him with..

PX: RX...what is going on!!?? (PX said out load)

PX: I'm going to find out...

At that PX teleported back to the shuttle...

When he teleported in the shuttle was very dark and ominous without a sound...

PX: This is creepy...something is not right here

RX walked trough the ship until he reached a room that had a light on, the door was open slightly, and the light was flickering on and off as if it had been damaged...the light went off again. PX slowly opened the door and it creaked open..he looked out and all he saw was a dimly lit figure that he could not make out

PX: RX..?? is..that you???

Just then the light flickered back on to show RX standing over the smashed up body of Alia...her cervo fluid was all over the walls and on RX's hands too...

PX: Wha!!!!!!!?????????????

RX was motionless stading over the corpse, then he suddenly looked up and an evil grin came across his face then he began to laugh evily

RX: heh heh heh heh heh

PX: N-no! T-this can't be!!! RX!!?? Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RX: I originally wanted you to join us, but I soon realised that you would not of your own free will, so I'll bring you back to Sigma in pieces if I have to! heh heh heh

PX: Sig....ma?? Ahhhhhhhhh!!1 this can't be happening!!!!!!! Why! Why did you kill Alia!!!

RX: Oh this insect? she was getting too nosy, and besides if she does not work for lord Sigma she deserved to die! all who opose lord Sigma will die!!!!!!!

PX: Sigma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RX: Have at you...

PX: RX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PX was now enraged so much all he could think about was destroying RX, he dashed at RX with a punch, RX quickly side stepped out of the way and jump kicked him in the back..

RX: Now, now Protoman X...you know I am unrivaled at hand to hand combat, not a very smart move now, was it?

PX was slowly standing back up..when suddenly...

PX: Die!!!!!!!!

RX: What the!!??

PX turned and fired a charged shot at RX, RX was quick to respond, but his shoulder was hit and his armour was slightly melted..

RX: Nice move, your better than I thought...but your no match for ME!!!

RX ran across the side of the wall and then jumped at PX with a thunder kick, suddenly PX caught his foot in mid air, he was still electricuted, but he fought trough the pain and swung RX into a wall

RX: Ugh!

RX quickly flipped back up from the ground then the 2 charged at each other with a series of punches and kick at increadible speeds, they blocked exchanged blows for a moment, then RX ducked and then fliped up into the air, he moved so fast that a blade of energy formed around his foot, and the veticle attack sliced PX strait up across the chest, the 2 flipped back and regained balance, they both stood in battle positon staring at each other..

RX: Enough games! lets finsih this!

RX pulled out his energy saber and PX activated his beam glaive and the 2 dashed at each other for another round of attacks, their blades clashed and the batte begins again...

While the battle is going on the Maverick hunters HQ is in dissarray at what has just happened with Megaman X

Signas: What? what do you mean you lost X's signal!???

Search team: I-I don't know sir, he just dissapeared off our scanners!!

Signas: Damnit!!

Signas hit the table with his clecnhed fist in frustration

S: What was his last know location!!???

ST: He was last spotted about 2 clicks from the shore..

S: From the shore? I see...continue your search, as soon as you find out ANYTHINGA you contact me immediately!

ST: Yes sir, Over and out!

S: X...what is happening to you?

Just at that moment a Maverick Hunter broke into the office..

MH: Sir, we have an urgent message to report on!

Signas: what is it?

MH: Reports are flooding in that the base on Pluto has been completely annihalated!

Signas: Excellent, so they succeeded in their mission...

MH: But their is one problem sir...

Signas: huh?

MH: We can't seem to raise communication with the shuttle sir!

Signas: Hmm...something is wrong..send a salvage shuttle and rescue team immediately! I want to know whats happening up there!

MH: Right away sir!

Signas: PX..RX..Alia..what has happened to you?

Little did the hunters base know that Doppler had spies placed around the base and this new rescue mission had reached his terminal the second it was drafted up...

Back on the shuttle the battle raged on, both RX and PX were severely injured now, with broken servo's, cracked, melted, chared and slashed armour..both were in pretty bad shape..

RX: Ugh...I wont be beaten by the likes of you!!!!

PX: Yaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

PX and RX dahsed at each other to deliver the finishing blows, RX put both his armes crossed along his chest each holding a handle of a saber, he pulled both out in a swift motion woth cut in an X shape which knocked PX across the room, whicle falling PX let off one massive blast from his buster knocking RX across the room...both were now unconcious...

(Scene: Inside Dr. Doppler's headquarters at the top floor of Doppler Tower.)

Bit and Byte stood before Dr. Doppler. Rain poured outside, and lightning strikes made temporary strobes which lit up the night.
"Master, is this true?", Bit asked.
"Yes. He came to me last night."
"But sir...Mega Man X?", Byte asked in astonishment.
"YES! He came to me. When he did, I took him down to the vault. I placed him in a capsule. He is resting there now."
"But what do we do with him? Destroy him?", Bit asked.
"He will not be a threat to us. Do not worry about him.", Doppler said in return.
"I want to believe that sir, but he single handedly took down our whole operation last time. Not to mention, we've been getting reports that Zero and other Maverick Hunters have been snooping around here. I don't want him jeopardizing our whole operation this time around!"
"Bit. Byte. Stop worrying about this. Mega Man X was given what he thought a cure for the Sigma virus. While it did cure him of the virus, it also gave him a programmed sense of loyalty to me. He does what I tell him to do."
"Sir, if you put him in sleep mode, won't his auto-repair systems nullify that program?", Byte asked.
"That hardly matters right now! Mega Man X will be sleeping for a long time. I put him in deep stasis. I didn't know if he could be trusted, so rather than use him, I figure I'd tuck him away for safe keeping. This way, when Zero and those pesky hunters figure out what I'm up to, I have him for bait."
"What if they come looking for him?", Bit asked.
"They won't!", Doppler replied smugly.
"How can you be sure? He is their number one Hunter! You don't think that they'll miss him?"
"They won't even have time to miss him. We're going to keep them so busy, that they'll be in over thier heads before they even know what happens to them!"
"Your confidence is always surprising Dr. Doppler.", Bit answered.
"Do not worry about it for now. Everything will work out in the end, you'll see. Now then, let us proceed with the first phase of our plane.", Doppler started.
"Get Sigma?" Bit and Byte asked.
"Yes boys....Get Sigma. Get him once and for all." Doppler laughed. (His own evil personna was magnified by the loud crash of thunder in the distance. Lighning played flashes thhrough the window, and Doppler's face was lit up completely. Bit and Byte turned to look at eachother, both understanding what the other was thinking. Dr. Doppler was quite insane. But then, they'd never tell him that!)

New Doppler Town was only the beginning. There was still a splinter in his side. This thorn was the most dreaded Reploid in the galaxy. Sigma! Dr. Doppler had set in motion some events which would shift the balance of power to his favor, and challenge the Maverick Hunters in a direct confrontation. So far, thier base had been harassed, but not since his first campaign had Dr. Doppler led a full out attack on Maverick Hunter Headquarters.
This was not originally his goal. Actually, when he first came on the scene to create the original Doppler Town, he was only looking for peace. After Sigma had corrupted him, he acted in accord with Sigma's wishes. Now however, he was operating under his own influence. The virus no longer held any sway over him. So, Doppler began his plan for revenge. First, he needed space cruisers....lots of them. This plan was already underway. He had sent agents of his to steal, or destroy Sigma's space stations. His many cruisers would be dependant upon them for refuelling, and loading fresh supplies. Without them, Sigma's army would be helpless. The Hunters got the one on Venus, and hit a base on Mars, but did very little damage. Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune still had space stations which held orbit around them. Each of those stations held over a thousand Mavericks of all different types. From Reploid civillians, to former Repliforce troops, to irregular Maverick Hunters gone bad! All of these, including some old friends of Sigma's had been here, waiting for assignment. Sigma had about twenty space cruisers, which he had stole from Repliforce's space division. The General's Flag ship was also commandeered, and renamed the "Maverick's Fury." Sigma had selected 8 of his best fighters, and deployed them throughout the system. He was going to spread out his forces so that they would be difficult to target.
The Maverick Hunters had destroyed nearly all of his figureheads, and a good portion of his troops. Dr. Doppler had send covert teams into outter space. It was his plan to first steal enough space cruisers so that he had comparable firepower to contend with the "Maverick's Fury." He'd order Sigma to surrender, but then would imediately engage in battle. Sigma doesn't surrender. But...In a desperate situation, Sigma could lose, and be destroyed.
If Mega Man X, and Zero were the two most powerful Reploids ever created, the Doppler knew himself to be the third...if at least in the top five! He could find a way to crush Sigma once and for all. He had to! It meant his very life!
Now in fact he had decided to side with the Maverick Hunters. He decided that if they didn't trust him before, they wouldn't start now. Of course, things had changed since Mega Man X had seen the "error" in his ways. Alas, it would take up the bulk of his attention, but this was only stage one of his plan. Destroy Sigma...at all costs!

(RX, I was just goofing around with the Star Wars bit. Don't let it affect your plot. Just ignore it...)

Dr. Doppler couldn't believe the news. Mega Man X had finally arrived. He stood there now, on the same landing pad that Thunder Ram had arrived on earlier. His stolen sky car shot out jets of steam, and exhaust. Doppler finally came out through the large double doors which he had earlier led the precession of Reploids through to embark on the city tour. Doppler walked alone, insisting that Bit and byte finish the tasks they had been given. Doppler walked up to X with out fear. Surely, however the command protocols had entered his mind, they had at least marginal, but if not then at best, total control over X's mind. He would bow before Doppler for sure. Doppler walked forward slowly.
X did not move. Doppler stepped right up to him, then stoped. After a tense moment of silence, he said, "Greetings Mega Man X." X's eyes were transfixed, like a deer looking into the headlights of an oncoming semi! His haze prevented him from responding immediately. After a few more awkward moments, he replied. "Master, I have come for you." Then, as if gravity itself had thrust its hand upon him, he lowered to his knee, and bowed low, showing obeisance to him. Doppler stroked his beard thoughtfully, then let out a loud cackle. "Yes. Come with me." He said as he led X inside the city.

Blade Runner walked up to the gate of the lab and security mav came up to him "state your name and Record" "*thoughts* uh-oh I forgot to check his name.....well this badge got me this far.. But as Signas Said I'll have to attack first ask questions later techniqe.." Blade Runner Pulled out his laser blade and impaled it inside the mav's chest. "I am the maverick hunter Blade Runner..." with that Blade Runner twisted the blade quickly ripping up the circitry inside the mav killing it instantly. Blade Runner pulled out the blade watching the maverick slump to the ground dead. "well that was easy for a high security mav." Blade Runner ripped of the badge on his chest and grabbed the key card from the mav's belt "this should get me in to the complex"Blade Runner busted through the gate to the complex and dashed towards the main Door setting off alarms every where alearting the mavricks to be on aleart "Oh yay.." BladeRunner said sarcasticly "More Fun.." with that he pulled out his laser blade and prepared for a battle inside the complex. Blade Runner opened the main door and when he got in he was greeted by many angry mavericks...

SA was now upon PX. He strugled to try and move but the attack had paralized him for a short period, but it was enough for SA to be able to finish him off in. SA began to spin his strikeing stick, PX looked up in surprise as suddenly out of nowhere a shadowy figure dashed pased with a jump kick that knocked SA trough the nearest wall.

PX: What the!!?? who is that!!??

The shadowy figure was now standing in front of PX with his back turned to him still completely encased in darkness..suddenly he turned his head and looked at PX to reveal that it was none other than Ryujin X.

RX: Looks like I can't leave you alone for a second, heh

RX smirked as he said those words..

PX: RX!! Its a good thing you got here...I was in a bit of trouble there..

RX: Can you stand?

PX: I think so...

RX: You have been temporarily paralized..give it a few minuets before you try to get up...

PX: Ok...

Suddenly SA smashed up out the rubble in a rage...

SA: Who the hell was that!!??

RX: It was me...

SA: Well it was a very skillful attack...who the hell are you?

RX: Ryujin X!

SA: Huh!!??

SA looked confused and let his gaurd down...

SA: I've heard of you..but why are you here? what are you doing? you are supposed to be a-....

Suddenly RX slashed at him with his energy Saber, SA was unprepared for the attack, so he had no time to block or dodge...the attack cut him strait in half..

PX: Huh??

RX: That will take care of him for good........

PX looked strangely at RX..normally he would not act like this at all...he would never attack an unarmed oponant in the middle of talking to him...something did not seem right...

RX: How are you now?

PX: Yeah...umm..I'm fine thanks...

PX stood up off the ground, totally free from the paralisis..just then a large security unit of gaurds barged into the core, and surrounded them..

RX: Here they come...get ready...

PX: Understood!

The 2 got into battle positions...

RX: I'll destract them while you set the timer, got it?

PX: Right!

At that RX jumped up into the air, while in the air unsheathed his 2 energy sabers and landed in the middle of the gurds with an attack, all forces converged on RX's position, as PX set the timer...

PX: Done, its set for 5 mins!!!

RX: Ok, good....hahahahaha!!!

But..I have a few questions/suggestions...G-man..I like the movie reference (star wars) and the fact that you are trying to contribute to my story..but..how would Sigma know that Protoman X was on pluto? and if he did, why did he not do anything about it? like send people to stop them from arriving...and RX could not have told him because they had radio silence...and if he did know..why would'nt he just send help to pluto and kill PX once and for all?

Oh and Blademn, I like the way you are bringing Wily into the fold..but..should he really be bringing Bass back? I mean we did kill him before...I know things can be rebuilt..but it just seems kinda tacky to me..but if its part of your story then you can do what you want, I'm just saying it seems a bit "cheap" if you know what I mean...I'll post with the rest of the battle later..just a bit busy at the moment

(sorry for not posting in awhile I've been busy planning this out so on with the Show!!)

Blade Runner Arrived at Dr. Cain's lab. He hid his hover bike in some brush a couple yards off. The whole entire lab was surrounded by mavericks "hmmm.. what should I do to get past this blockade... They have ion disrupters... not good" Blade Runner thought to himself. "wait I know maybe if I can get one of the mavericks a steal some key item stuff I an get in and then I will blow my way towards the heater room.." Blade Runner thought about his plan carefully and then looked for a maverick that looked almost exactly loike him. "which one of these oaf's look like me." BladeRunner thought to himself. Then he saw a bot that had black armor like him that had the same exact markings on him "ahh perfect" BladeRunner thought, then he picked up a peeble and threw it at the maverick and the maverick walked over to where Blade Runner was "Gotchya!" then Blade runner stabbed the maverick in the chest killing him instantly the Blade Runner grabbed his rankings and put them on him" not too bad not too bad now time to get into the lab" Blade Runner walked towards the door...

MeanWhile!

A cloaked figure entered a dark room. A siloetted figure that looked like a cobra appeared "yes, master?" "I have a mission for you.. an old enemy is back and I want you to make sure he goes back to being dead|" "who is this enemy?"
"BladeRunner or should I say Cannon!" "Cannon!!!" the figure quivered in angerI will kill Him!!" "good now go Bass" "Yes, Master" Bass walked off into the distance

(In all of this, no one is dealing with what Sigma is doing...so, I'll check in on him--so to speak!)

Vile stood on the bridge of Sigma's infamous Space cruiser "The Maverick's Fury." Sigma had gone away on a mission to Earth; one that he would handle personally. Vile was left to watch the ship in his absence. Right now, the ship was making its way towards Saturn, but was passing through the Astroid belt. The bridge was swarming with activity, as techs, and crew went from station to station. Vile just held the railing above, and watched over the bridge. Suddenly, a Maverick Captain scurried up to Vile.
"Lord Vile?"
"What is it Captain?"
"Lord Sigma commands you to make contact with him at once!"
Vile turned around to face him, "Move the ship out of the astroid field, so that we can send a clear transmission."
"At once sir.", the MavCaptain turned to run towards the control officers. Vile paced over to the comm terminal.
Walking into the comm chamber, he paced down a few black, polished steps. He made his way to the contact plate, which would capture a holographic image of him, and send it directly to his master. He bowed low, to one knee. Sigma's Holographic head appeared in place over Vile.
"What is thy bidding my master?"
"There is a great Disturbance coming from Pluto. We have a new enemy. Protoman X."
"He's just a rookie. X and Zero can no longer help him."
Sigma retorted in an authoritative tone. "He could destroy us. He has grown strong! Protoman X must not become a full Maverick Hunter."
"If he could be turned, then he would become a powerful ally." Vile though hopefully.
Sigma though briefly, "Yes.....Yes. Can it be done?"
"He will join us or die Master!" Vile said. then the image went blank.

(Okay, I was just having a little fun. Easy to spot the obvious movie references, huh? Just thought I'd lighten things up a bit...)

Mega Man X ran off into the city. He wasn't thinking, he wasn't acting of his own accord. He just ran. He didn't have control over his body anymore. The anti-virus protocol he had been given had in fact been something much worse. What Wolf didn't tell Zero is that he had gotten the Virus Buster from Doctor Doppler. If you remember, Zero and Saber Wolf had made a temporary alliance with an unknown reploid named Bolt. Bolt was an agent of Dr. Dopplers. Doppler had no idea that Zero would wind up on Mars, and it was an act of coincidence that his agent happened to meet them on the landing pad. When he had heard his agent report, Doppler was overjoyed. Finally, he would have full knowledge of one of the Maverick Hunter's missions! He instructed Bolt to give them any help they asked for, which he did. This included the anti-virus protocol card, which happened to work towards Dr. Doppler's advantage. It did destroy all traces of the Sigma virus. However, it installed new command protocols which would make the Reploid loyal to Dr. Doppler. Sort of like a strong suggestion that the mind cannot easilly ignore at first. However, as it stayed there, it grew. Eventually, if something was not done, X's will would be broken, and he would be Doppler's puppet. An unexpected twist! So unexpected that Doppler himself did not even know what happened. At least not yet. In the mean time, Mega Man X was now trying to find his way to Doppler. What would he do when he got there? Would he be destroyed by Doppler's security? Would He be welcomed inside as a guest? Would he Destroy Dr. Doppler once and for all, when they got face to face? Or, would X do the unthinkable, and bow before him? No one really, knows...but there's only one way to find out!

PX looked up as the light of the generator flickered past the figure illuminating him. It was Stick Anteater.

He stood strait with his legs togther his arms to his sides, with his right arm holding his striking stick which was a long golden staff weapon. He held it completely strait by his side, one end touching the ground and the other over his head. He had a secondary shoulder cannon for long range fighting, but like RX he excelled at close range combat so he used it very little. Its power was only moderate for an energy projectile weapon, nothing compared to PX's high yield plasma cannon, but it does the job and has some paralizing attributes, simular to that of Vile's cannon. (just giving lots of info..kinda like a G-man post ^_^)

PX: I see, so you must be Stick Anteater..well I was'nt expecting to fight you yet, but nows as good a time as any!!

As PX was talking he was secretly charging up his plasma cannon, he then quickly aimed up and fired off a charged energy blast as soon as he was finished speaking, the blast came out of nowhere towards SA, but suddenly he spun his striking stick in circles increadibly fast in front of him, the effect from this was that it created an electromagnetic field which deflected PX's plasma blast

PX: What the!!?? Impossible!!??

SA: A very skillful attack on your part...much better than what I would have expected, perhaps you will be a challange after all...

At that SA leaped into the air and fliped behind and landed while kicking him from behind

PX: Ugh!

PX was hit by surprise and knocked off balance, he tumbled across the floor and hit into a wall..he quickly got back up onto one knee and put his had on his head as he shoock the effects from the attack off, he looked up and suddenly SA fired a volley of shots from his shoulder cannon, PX quickly dived out of the way and then fliped across the ground in succession and then into the air to shots, while in the air he fired a shot back of his own, but this one caught SA by surprise

By the time SA noticed the shot was already upon him, he began to dodge but the blast caught him on the shoulder, he slid across the ground to the side from the force of his dodge, as his shoulder smoked from the attack. He the put his hands on the ground behind him and fliped back up onto his feet.

SA: Not bad, but lets see how you handle THIS!!

He dashed at PX but as he was about to make contact pushed his staff into the ground and polevolted into the air, at which point he began to spin towards the ground where PX was, he struck with enormous speed and force with multiple hits which knocked PX totally off balance and dealed a large amount of damage to PX

PX spun across the floor, bouncing violently until he again hit a wall, this time the affect from the attack had momentarily paralized him and SA was comming in to finish him off...

(Just a reminder that we were still using the names from the Capcom RPG...) The Maverick's name was "Stick Anteater"
He weapon was the "Striking Stick" --which is essentially a fighting staff, but you can make up whatever powers you want. That, and the fact that he was on Pluto were the only facts given about him...so take it from there, and do as you wish! (Stay tuned for more exciting updates in regard to New Doppler Town, and watch for X's progress! Things will get really good! Just wait and see!)

The shuttle had now reached its final destination, the planet Pluto. The ship had special devices attached to avoid detection from the orbiting space station and defence satelites. RX and PX decided that it would be best for Alia to say in the shuttle for backup, and because she was not an experianced hunter like the 2 of them.

RX and PX teleported down to the surface about 20 meters from the base (what was that mavericks name again?).

RX: Ok..I'll go in 1st to destract the gaurds, then you make your way to the core and set a timed bomb, then I'll meet up with you and together we will take out the head Maverick, got it?

PX: Fine by me, lets go, and good luck!

RX: You too...

At that RX dashed towards the entrance, he slashed the 2 centuries who were gaurding the door apart before they even knew he was there, he did this to prevent them from sounding the alarm, then the rest of the security patrol engaged RX and he led them away from the base to a nearby cavern made of ice...

While he was taking care of the patrol PX sneaked into the base un-noticed...he snuck along several corridoors, avoiding the security sensors and taking care of the odd patrol with his thrusty plasma cannon.

Due to the fact that Pluto was such a hard place to get to, and that its climate was extreamly harsh, not to mention the special orbiting defence satelites, it had little in the way of man power or base defences, mainly because they doubted anyone would ever attack...which made RX and PX's jobs alot easier.

PX finnaly got to the generator room..

PX: Whew! Finnaly here..that was much easier than I thought..but why do the put these things so far inwards? so many corridoors..

PX attached the special timed explosive and while he had just finished setting the wireing he was about to input the timer command when suddenly a blast came out of nowhere from behind him, luckily for him he had very aquite sences and dodged the attack just in time, he rolled out of the way and then stood on one knee, he looked up to see a shadowy figure with his weapons trained on him

PX: What the!!?? who are you!??

Mysterious voice: Now you little maverick hunter, time to die!! sigma will reward me well for your corpse!!

Life Saver woke up. He didn't know whathad happened. Last thing he remembered, He was tending to X, he turned around...and that's the last thing he remembered. What happened? He got up off the cold metal floor. "X?" , he called out, feeling the back of his head. Something had hit him...HARD! X was missing, and the door to the medical bay had been completely blown off. In fact, it was the Warning Klaxon which had awoken Life Saver. The alarm seemed to much for his now sensetive audio receptors to handle. One of his brothers...a second Life Saver unit came into the Sick bay with some curious on-lookers. Signas also came. There was alot of noise, and alot of mumuring. What had happened here?
Signas ordered the alarms, and extinguishers to be shut off, and tried to get Douglas to remove some of the Reploids milling about out of sheer curiosity. Security teams moved in, and sealed the place off.
"What happened here?", Signas asked. Life Saver tried to recount the event. "Well, first I remember Blade Runner visiting X. Then he left, and you came in. After that I was along for a few hours. I was filing a report on X's condition. I went over to check on him, and when I turned around....nothing. I can't remember anything after that, except when I woke up."
"X's restrains have been torn. It looks like he could have been the one who did it. But why? Why would X suddenly awake, and snap the restraints? Why then would he hit you over the head, and blast the door out?", Douglas asked.
"Whoa! Hold on Douglas. That's an awful lot of speculation there. Someone could also have broken in here, and kidnapped X. Can we check security? Rewind the recordings on all the security cameras. Seal off the building. Make sure no one comes or goes. We'll question everyone. If it was X, someone ought to have seen him. If not, then whoever has him must have been seen. We'll check this out."
Suddenly th room was shook, and everyone fell over. More alarms went off. A large hole was blown in the side of the building a few levels down. Signas got up, and ranover to the window. As he looked down, smoke, and debris were flying outward. Then he saw it. Mega Man X!
Signas called out to him, "X? What are you doing?"
X looked up, and without hesitation fired a fully charged blast right for Signas' head! Signas ducked back inside quickly, and yelled, "Take cover!" The blast hit, and the building shook again. Another hole was opened in the wall. It looked like X had awakened...but that was not X! It couldn't be....Signas told himself. X would never act like this. But it WAS X! Signas saw him with his own eyes!
What could have happened to him? Was X a Maverick?

(I'm going to add something more interesting to the story)

Sigma Was in the middle of the room and looked like he was looking for some one. A black hooded figure came into the room. "You wanted to see me?" said a Menacing Voice, "um ah yes we have a problem our plan to destroy X with the virus isn't going that well" Sigma Said "And Why not? He is dying isn't he?" said the Voice sounding like a mad scientist "Well, yes he is but.. they are sending some one Dr. Cain to get an antivirus and I have no one to send to stop him because they are currently dead or doing buiesness for me so I was thinking you can help me." Sigma Said nervously because Sigma rarly asked anyone to help him he always seemed to have a plan but this time he needed help. "..So I see and who is this robot that they are sending?" The Voice asked like a german mad scientist accent. "They are sending a Reploid named Blade Runner" The Hooded figure winced at that name as if he was a rival. "Blade Runner? well then I will be happy to anilate him. I have the perfect Robot to do that with." the Figure looked as if he was filled with joy like a Kid in a candy store. Sigma Cocked a Brow "who?" "you will see" The hooded figure walked away laughing histerically...

Douglas and Signas sat across from eachother at his Desk. Douglas hadn't been in Signas' office much, except to fix a few things.
"I don't like our situation Douglas.", He said calmly. He sat back, with his fingers steepled.
"What do you mean?", Douglas asked.
"Well, our Hunters are spread out so much, and X has taken ill. Not to mention that we've had some leave our ranks, and other who became Mavericks, or were killed in battle. This is a hard time for us on the home front."
"Yeah, there have been alot of new faces. Too many people coming and going.", Douglas answered. "We can't keep up with the maintanence schedule!"
"Yes. My work of assigning missions has also gotten out of hand. Even still, I get more information every day. I'd like to send someone out to check up on this bit of news I just heard, but I don't think there is anyone I can ask."
"What about Zero sir? He seems to be the only one who isn't too wrapped up in anything right now."
"Maybe. He could be the logical choice...he is our strongest and moste experienced active member right now. Where is he?"
"I don't know sir, I haven't seen him in a while. What's the information you have?"
"Well, this is interesting. Remember Saber Wolf?"
"Yes I do. The big guy with the shoulder spikes, right?"
"Hmm, the same. Well it seems that the parts for his body were stolen, and his control chip, and data card are missing too. I've also received an intelligence report that A raid of some sort took place in the Junkyard where we traced Ryujin X to before... Morph Moth's old hide out."
"Wolf mentioned something about having a friend there to me once. Call him Scorpion something-or-other?"
"Metal Scorpion? I knew him. Well, I met him once. I think he came to a trade conference I was at at the Expo center. He was in the market to buy weapons."
"Is that where you met him?"
"Well, I was talking with this one character, he called himself 'Grizzly', he said that Scorpion was a good customer of his, but he didn't know why anyone would need to arm a junk yard. Then he walked up right behind me, and I introduced myself."
"Interesting. But what does this report of missing parts mean?", Douglas inquired. "And who took them? Where did they take them? Why?"
"Douglas...those are among the other thousands of questions that I have. Find Zero. Get him in here immediately! I need his help!" (to be continued)

(Just a note to everyone: Since I have alot more free time now, I've decided to put alot more into the RPG. I gave myself about 10 characters from which to work with. That's going to be alot of work to just run this plot line, but to try and tie you guys in to will take a little EXTRA effort. Don't worry, I can figure something out, but In order to get anywhere...since this idea I got is SO BIG...I'll have to drop multiple chunks of the story. At least until I get to where I want to be. Then, once everyone is wrapped up in it...things will be easier. Big plans though... So keep it here! Thanks!)

Byte stood next to Dr. Doppler. It was the middle of the night, and the moon was low over the ocean. The big white moon flashed like a beam in the sky, and reflected in the waters of the pacific ocean. The city's lights hadn't all been turned on, since they were running on generators. In the morning, he would start Blast Bull, and Thunder Ram on getting the city powered up. He had a packed schedule.
Byte however did not have such a busy life. He had learned to be patient, and calm since he was last rebuilt.
His hand was held to his audio receptors. A small device in his had was set to monitor all communications on outside frequencies. He finally caught one.
"Sir, I have something.", Byte said.
He was standing next to Doppler in his office, looking through a large bay window out over the dimly lit city.
"What is it?", Doppler asked.
"A transmission....source unknown, but It sounds like Wave Tortise." Doppler turned his head sharply.
"What?", he asked. His voice became a quick snap of shock, rage, and curiosity. "What's he saying?"
"Uh....hmm...he's saying that he's here looking for someone. He keeps saying that we have someone, and that he's here on recon....no...search, and rescue? What could that mean?"
"Who would he be looking for?", Doppler asked.
"I have no idea sir."
"You told me he cleared the security background check."
"He did sir. He had no ties to Sigma or the Maverick Hunters.", Byte said.
"Okay. But did any of his freinds, or business associates?"
"We didn't check that out, but we could..."
"Do it...immediately.", Doppler snapped.
"Wait! The trasmission's ending. I'm not too familliar with codes, but off hand it sounds like a data dump took place."
"Is that device recording?", Doppler asked.
"Of course."
"Plug it into the main monitor, I want to analyze this."
Byte walked over to Doppler's desk. The data poured into the monitor, and Doppler began to work on the console.
"The Signal was coming from this quadrant." Byte pointed to the screen. "That's the living quarters. This doesn't make sense though...The signal goes out over the ocean to this point, and just stops. Weird!"
"Not really. Not if you think about it." ,Doppler answered back. "Remember, Wave Tortise is here to build me aquatic battle submarines. He's probably using one of them to communicate with."
"Why would he take such a risk? That was a totally unsecured line he used."
"Ahh....he probably just rigged a hand held. Maybe his business here is two fold then? I sense desperation, and uneasiness in his voice."
"This is very strange.", Byte added.
"Byte, listen...I want you to go and look in on him. Check everyone, so I can make sure that he's the only one. If he crosses us, I can replace him...I don't want to have to, but I can figure something out."
"What about the parts of the other two?"
"What? Oh....make sure they are secured! Double the gaurds around the vaults."
"Sir, do you think he's looking for someone's parts?"
"One of those two? I doubt it...he didn't have any dealings with Sigma's people. Still...run a complete background check!" Byte turned, and left the room quickly.
"Just what are you up to?", Doppler mumbled to himself.

It was after hours, Doppler had shown each of the Reploids his new city, he took them in, and trusted them. Thunder Ram had no choice, but to be fitted with a Doppler Symbol on his shoulder. This way, security wouldn't stop him. He hadn't made up his mind about helping Doppler. Actually, he just wanted to leave. He wanted to steal a shuttle, and fly back to his city. He cared more about the citizens of Metro North than he did about these fools. And who was that short, stupid looking Turtle guy? Why would he want help? What could he possibly be involved in? Ram didn't know what to think of that guy, so he just put it aside for now. He sat in his quarters. He was looking around the room. The room itself wasn't sealed, but Doppler said that if anyone went sneaking around, they'd have to seal them in. Ram didn't like that idea much, but he didn't have much of a choice. He didn't want to enter sleep mode, and close down. Of course, Reploids did need some down time every once in a while. It was good for thier systems. Ram figured that he could do without it for a while, so he got up, and crept quietly out of his quarters. He didn't get very far before he heard a deep voice behind him.
"Where do ya think yer goin'?", the voice asked loudly.
Ram turned around, puzzled. "Wha-?"
It was Blast Bull. "I though Doppler said no sneaking around. Where are you going?"
Ram hadn't really gotten a chance to talk with any of the other Reploids, because Doppler seperated them on the tour. When they were together, they had to remain quiet. Ram didn't know if Bull could be trusted.
"I was just going out to the observation Deck.", Ram offered. Bull turned his head, and looked behind him.
"What's wrong?", Ram asked, curious.
"I don't think we should be out of our rooms. Doppler's got this place full of goons.", Bull replied uneasilly.
"Let's go up to the deck. If we're together, Doppler might not think anything of it?", Ram suggested.
"Sure, I guess. It'll give me a chance to ask you some questions.", Bull answered back.
"Yeah, me too."

Meanwhile, Wave Tortise tried desperately to rig his com unit so that he could contact his base. After a little work, he finally got through. "We read you sir.", His suboordinant answered. "Great, nice to hear from you.", WT replied.
"Have you made any progress so far?"
"No, not yet, Doppler did take us on a tour of the city, I transferred the data to back-up card. I'm going to send it by pulse transmission."
"Good, maybe we can use it to help us find him?"
"I don't know where he is. I don't even know if they've got him. I haven't been given enough security clearance to have access to that information."
"Well Sir, keep trying. Just remember that this is a recon mission you're on."
"I'd like to think of it as a search and rescue operation."
"Yeah...", his tech sounded somber.
"Listen, I have to cut the line now. We may have been picked up. This channel is insecure, I'll try to contact you in a number of days, okay? WT out."

Yaeh..me and PX were saying that..but in the end we just decided that it did not really matter..we'd figure it out when we came to it..and well...this is our RPG so we should be able to do what we like despite the story of MM games ^_^

But anyway, I like your Idea, so I think we'll use that..oh and don't worry..I don't know much about Doppler town or its true purpose/motive but that was just something that I thought up...I wont just be like "ok, I'm going to Doppler town now even though its a secret base and I don't know where it is" heh...I'll come up with something to help tie it in...depening on what you do with Doppler town..something will come up and thats when I'll see an opening ^_^

I love the ideas, they cover alot of ground! It would have been nice for you to have the support of PX, but as you said, who knows where he is, right?
Anyway..I just want to point out that for time, we ARE still in the pre-X5 time period, as was my understanding. So Alia couldn't die until sometime after at least. Of course, X6 is due out in the future, but we don't know if she'll be a part of that. I'd have to assume that she will be part of that, so we are covering alot of ground in the future, and it goes well past the X series, in it's current position in the timeline. All I can suggest is that Alia appears to be dead, but doesn't actually die! Of course, her memories of the event could be altered, or erased, just as PX loses his memory.
I personally don't have any qualms about you mentioning New Doppler Town, but because I haven't "blown the lid" off of that yet...I would suggest not delving in it too deeply, just yet. All I can say is that I'm turning the focus of the RPG in an entierly new...and shocking direction. Just remember though that we started the RPG during the period between X4, and 5, so alot of the issues of X 4 still hadn't been resolved. I can't say anymore, so I'll stop there!

Ok, since PX is not comming back (for whatever reason)
I may as well tell you what me and him had planned...maybe you guys after reading can help me complete this part of the story..but anyway here goes

RX is infected with the new sigma virus, PX and Alia don't know but are getting suspicious

RX and PX will go down to the surface to battle the maverick and his forces, but while PX is fighting them RX will teleport back up to the ship where Alia is..now heres where things get interesting...

RX will end up killing Alia, and as soon as PX beats he mavericks he returns to find RX standing over Alia's smashed up body...enraged he attacks RX after a few of his comments and a battle commences...they are both pretty badly beaten up and on eaiter side of the room...PX gets up first and as he is about to kill RX he has a programming error because his best friend had betrayed him and killed Alia (his love) PX malfunctions and becomes unconcious (and then has to get his memory purged just like was said in he old RPG)

RX will then awaken and as he is doing the same thing he holds his head in pain as he strives to fight against the virus...he fights so hard that his body goes into a state of coma to decide which side wins..

A hunter rescue ship finds them and brings them back to the HQ..RX, PX and X lie on 3 adjacent tables (thats where the story normally would end while I was thinking of something..but here is where it intersects with the X story)

Bladerunner arrives back with Dr.Cain, to find RX and PX there as well...Dr.Cain seeing as he is there examines all 3...he does not know what is wrong with RX but he knows he is infected and none of the anti-virus agents are working on him..just like X...PX has a proggramming error that will take weeks of work to try and fix..and X has the same strain of Sigma Virus as RX...

He begins trying to work on a cure but to no avail...until RX suddenly awakens from his coma completely freed of the virus..astonished they do tests...while waiting for the test results RX looks on at PX and X...thinking it is his fault..he deems that the only thing left to do is leave the Maverick hunters for good so as not to harm them anymore..and to get Revenge on Sigma...

RX dashes off..but a short while afterwards they discover that the reason RX is cured is because his body has beaten the sigma virus and has the anti-bodies (due to his self evolution design and nano-bots)

Now the only way to save X is for someone to find RX...who has apparantly heard of a secret job opening at New Doppler town...

So..what do you think? good bad? do you guys agree to this? and do you mind me overlapping into your stories?

Oh and this way it keeps the character of PX out of the loop until he decides to come back (if ever) while keeping up the continueity of the RPG...so..what do you think? is this ok? and can you guys help me get past this whole shuttle mission? I hate the "in-betweeners" in the RPG...I just hate posting them...obviously I will continue to post with this story line in mind..but if anyone wants to add to the story or make a possible change then go ahead..or if you want to post sections of the shuttle mission you are welcome to ^_^

The group of Reploids, led by Doctor Doppler paced slowly into Doppler Tower. The tower was the tallest of all the structures in New Doppler Town, and stood like a spire above
the flat, endless ocean which surrounded it. Thunder Ram kept quiet, but walked slowly along side Wave Tortise. This short fellow seemed to be uneasy, but kept pace with the others.
"What's wrong with you?" ,Ram asked quietly.
"What makes you say that?" , Tortise asked.
"I can tell by your body language that you shouldn't be here. Who are you?", Ram countered.
"You already know my name!"
"Easy, pal! Don't get snappy with me, alright?"
"Sorry...I...."
"I take it that Doppler sent you the same sort of invitation that he sent me?"
"What do you mean?", Tortise asked.
"Force, not choice.", Ram replied.
"Yeah, you could say that. Listen, why don't we stick together okay?"
Ram glared at him suspiciously. "And why would I want to do that?" Tortise shrugged, "I don't know. I mean...we could help each other out!"
"I'll think about it.", Ram grumbled.
Doppler sounded above the quiet conversation, "Excellent, everything has been readied." Apparently, the two hadn't noticed his jabbering as he led them inside the tower.
Doppler continued, "If all of you will follow me, I will be leading you on a tour of the city. The tour will be quite extensive, so please try to pay attention. All of you are then going to be allowed to view your new work stations, and receive your assignments. Come on...this way!"
The party turned a corner, and followed silently.

Blade Runner had left Sick Bay. Signas turned the corner, and heard the sound of a Reploid's feet hitting the floor hard. He turned to see the back of Blade Runner. No doubt speeding off on his mission. He called out to him, "Blade Runner! Be Careful!" BR turned around, and yelled back, "I will!"
Signas entered Sick Bay and Life Saver immediately went over to him. "So Doctor, how's our patient?"
"Hmm.", Life Saver thought grimly, "Not well I'm afraid. The coding structure of the sigma virus seems to be too random for this anti-virus software to take effect. I wonder where Zero got it from anyway?"
"Do you remember Saber Wolf?", Signas asked him.
"Yes. He was the guy who gave me such a hard time about the Virus scanning." Life Saver replied.
"Among other things...! It was he who gave this to Zero. Zero told me that as Wolf was dying, he turned it over to Zero, and told it him it would cure him of this form of the virus."
"Strange. Maybe he gave him the wrong card or something?"
Signas thought for a minute. "No, I don't think so. Wolf wasn't the type to sabotage X like that. He was never sneaky enough to do that."
"One thing I don't get,", Life Saver started, "Was that if Wolf became a Maverick, why then wouldn't he want X to join him? Instead, he gave Zero an anti-virus code, to protect X. It doesn't make sense!"
"Okay Life Saver. Think about it this way. I know Sigma wouldn't just keep a data card around with the power to destroy himself. I think Wolf stole it from someone, and wanted to use it on himself!"
"Yeah! That makes sense.", Life Saver added.
"More so if you think that if Wolf was dying, he figured that he wasn't going to be able to use it anyway, so why not give it to X?"
"So then that means that..."
"Yes, I think so! Wolf didn't want to become a Maverick, and he fought it to the very last.", Signas stated.
"Even still, it got the better of him.", Life Saver said.
"Yes. It is a shame that Sigma found his weakness so easilly. Greed, rage, and selfishness fed his anger. Sigma is so very clever that he was able to even pursuade my friend the General!"
"Repliforce...", Life Saver said. He trailed off, sounding grim.
"Anyway, Keep working on X, okay? If Blade Runner can get back here soon enough with Dr. Cain, X might have a chance!"
"X is a fighter Signas. He'll fight Sigma to the very last, even if he has to give his own life to do it!"
"I know," ,Signas replied, "But it is so very tragic that X's battle lies within this time. I feel like there's nothing we can do to help him."
"Just don't give up hope.". Life Saver comforted him.
With that Signas smiled, and then left Sick Bay.

"he is in the next room in intensive care" "thank you" Blade runner said with a nod. He walked into the next room he saw X on the table looking a litle better "X!" Blade Runner dashed over.
Blade Runner looked at his condition on the little screen on the side." *grunts* your not lookin good" X's eyes opened "Blade Runner it was not your fault" smiles slightly "Good you came back to consienceness after I visit you I'm going to go on a mission to go get Dr. Cain" X just nodded.Life Saver came in "BladeRunner I think you should leave now" "understood, X you recover" Blade runner left the room

(BR, listen...Mega Man X was given a command protocol which would reverse the Sigma Virus's effect on him. He was last listed (below) as needing time to recover. So, I'll put you in a situation involving him, okay? I hope this helps.)

Signas called Blade Runner back into the briefing room.
"Listen, Blade Runner. I know I just asked you to go look for Doctor Cain, but Life Saver tells me that Mega Man X is not doing so well. The cure he got from Zero is helping, but he still hasn't come out of it yet."
"So, what Am I supposed to do?" ,BR asked.
"Look in on X first of all. Ask Life Saver if there is any way you can help him. Visit X at least, that might help pick his spirits up. If he ever comes to I mean."
"Signas, I have a feeling that you are not telling me something here. What is it?"
"Okay. Listen... Doctor Cain learned much about Reploids in a short amount of time. Having found X, he is solely responsible for us being here! It is rumored that Cain went into retierment to find ways to combat the Sigma Virus. We hope that he has had some success. Now the fact that he is still alive tells us something! The Sigma Virus harms everything it touches. Cain may not be our only hope for X, but he is an integral part of X regaining his health. Look in on X, but then please....go and find Dr. Cain. Bring him here as soon as you can! I know it is asking alot, but there is no one else I trust!"
"Signas...I...um. Thank you.", Blade Runner said.
And with that, he left to go see X in Sick Bay.

The trancevers had been completed for some time and this new type of "cloacking device" (I did not want to call it that..but..who cares now) which was developed by Dr.Cain before his retirement from the robotics industry.

The device was untested, but it would do for the mission at hand. One week had passed since the incident outside the shuttle, the device had been completed for a couple of days now and they were making good time on the trip, they had left the earths atmosphere some time ago.

Protoman X and Alia seemed to get closer and closer as time passed, while at the same time PX and RX drifted farther apart. PX had found it hard to understand how an expert fighter and one of the strongest hunters he had ever met, was so easily put in that predicament. He also wondered how a cable made of trilinium, one of the hardest metlas known to man, could simply snap for no reason.

He was reviewing the sensor and video logs of what happened, as he wanted to know how something like this could happen...

Just as he was looking trough them Alia entered..PX tunred and looked at her

PX: Hey, what brings you here?

Alia: I just came to check on you! (Alia said in a happy cheerful tone)

PX: Oh..

Alia: Whats wrong? you don't seem yourself..and what are you doing in here on your own?

PX: It was that incident with RX...outside the shuttle..something does not add up about the way it hapened..how could the cable just snap? and the way RX was acting when he came back...seemed strange..I can't put my finger on it...so I'm looking over the logs to see If I can find out what happened...

Alia: I see...well...do you want me to look over them with you? after all, 2 heads are better than one!

PX: Sure, maybe you can help me make sence of this...

The 2 looked on trough the video and sensor logs...the video log finnaly came to the part of the incident..

PX: Hmmm around here is where it happened..

At that moment RX's head crystal lighted up and he began to hold his head...then it showed him snapping the cable with his own hand (and you know the rest)

PX: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

Alia: !!!!!!!!!!!????????????

PX: What the...!?? It can't be!!

Alia: He..snapped the cable by himself!?? Then..there was no accident!!?? Whst is going on? why would he do this?

PX: I...I dont know..but I intend to find out...go back to the start again...now, look there!! his crystal begins to light up and he holds his head in pain..and then he snaps it..

Alia: What could it mean?

PX: Could..it have been a malfunction of some sort?

Alia: If so it could jeopardise the whole mission!!!

PX: I know....

Just then RX entered the room...

RX: I've been looking for you 2...we need to change the flight path slightly due to some electro-magnetic storms and...

He looked at the 2 of them strangely as the looked at each other nervously...

RX: Am I interupting something here? just why exactly are the 2 of you in here together?

PX: Ummm..just..going over some logs...

Alia: Yeah..eh...he asked me to come down here and help him find one...

RX: Oh..which one?

PX: Ummm..err...emmm...

Alia: Oh it's ok! I found it!

RX: Very well....I'll be on deck if you need me...

At that RX left the room and PX and Alia looked at each other concernedly...

As the door shut RX began to think..

RX: Hmm...I could have sworn I saw a video feed of the shuttle incident just as I entered the room...and they were acting very suspiciously...they are on to me...time to move the schedual of "the plan" forward..before they figure it out...

At that RX walked off down the corradoor deep in thought...

..."Doctor Doppler? Yes....it is good to finally meet you in person!" Doppler extended his hand, and they shook hands.
"How do you happen to know who I am?", Thunder Ram asked.
"Well, a fair queation. All I can say is that I make it my business to know you." Doppler offered. "I am after all, a fan of your work." Ram shook his head, and said with a grimmace, "Sorry, that answer is not good enough for me."
Doppler became curt with him, "Well, that's all you're going to get! Really though, we have more important matters to discuss, don't we? The who is not as important as the why. Do you agree?" Ram nodded.
Doppler continued, "First, I want to introduce you to my staff. These five Mavericks are the leading professionals in thier respective fields. I shall introduce them to you.
First, we have Blast Bull. He operates a Pacific Oil Rig a few miles from here. I asked him to join me because I'm worried about providing enough fuel to power my new city."
"No doubt, that is why you've called me here?", Ram asked.
"We will get to that in a moment.", Doppler replied. Ram greeted Blast Bull. Doppler went down the line giving names, and occupations. Ram greeted each with a handshake, and a polite remark. There were also Wind Raven, leader of his own air force. Razor Mantis, owner of a succesful Mech/ride armor factory. Needle Porcupine, who works in Drilling & Blasting. Then, he met Wave Tortise. Curious to anyone who knew him, but not to Ram, who had never met him. Doppler then asked them all to follow him inside.

The air car landed amongst the small assemblage stationed at opposing flanks on the landing pad. Doppler himself stood there, along side the towering Bit at the head position. At the right flank stood five powerful looking Reploids, each emblazened with a Doppler symbol on thier chest, or shoulder. On the opposing flank, a crack team of "cookie-cut" Reploid security bots stood at attention.
A cool breeze blew across the landing pad. Spotlights flooded the sky, as the city illuminated the background. The landing pad was high up, about 50 storys high in fact! Byte opened the air car, and stepped out. Thunder Ram slid out cautiously, and waited until he was instructed to move. The security bots rushed forward, all carrying hand held blasters. Each of them had thier blasters trained on Ram. Apparently they hadn't been created with Arm cannons, Ram noted. The security chief waved the air car away, and the pilot lifted off. The security team then moved away, and fell to position behing Byet, and Thunder Ram. Thier weapons were lowered, but they were ready. Byte stood proudly before his master, and gestured for Ram to move forward. Dr Doppler smiled, and brought his hand up to his chin to scratch his beard. He stretched out his hand, "Greetings Thunder Ram.
I am Doctor Doppler." (to be continued!)

Signas walked over to a hologram table "I have a very important mission for you" Signas said with a very serious tone "We are in desperate need of reinforcements." "But why can't you just call and ask for assistants?" Blade Runner asked. "Well, See the place where we get reinforcements are infected with the sigma virus. Because Sigma worked ahead of us and he made sure we were helpless." Signas said "So I need you to go into Cain Labs and find Dr. Cain." "That will be a cinch." Signas shook his head. "No, His lab is infected too Dr. Cain has taken shelter you must find him and bring him back and I think you'll do better alone.." "What if I find others that are not infected?" "Bring them with you" Signas turned on the hologram table and it showed Cain labs blue prints. "Doctor Cain is located right here" A red dot appeared on the blue prints. "The only way to get in there is through the ventilation shaft and you can only get into the shaft from the heater room so you need to do the old fashion way in..Shoot first ask questions later" Blade runner Nodded "when do I start? " in a hour"

Ram sat in the back of the air car. He didn't ask any questions to the yellow Reploid who sat across from him. In fact, niether had spoken a word since Ram had gotten in. They had been travelling for almost half an hour. A black colored Reploid piloted the air car, and said nothing also. Ram didn't know if he was supposed to say anything, but even he couldn't stand the tense, awkward environment.
"Who are you anyway? I thought Doppler was going to meet me?" The yellow Reploid, who was lounging comfortably tilted his head sideways. "Personally? Are you stupid or something?
Doppler never goes outside the city!" He laughed.
"You didn't answer my question.", Ram scolded.
"You don't need to know who I am. You don't need to know anything except that I have orders to bring you there alive. It means that I can't kill you no matter what! It also means that I have to protect you too, if something happens. Doppler hates a failure more than anything. If you just lie back, and shut your mouth till we get there, this will be a much easier assignment." The yellow Reploid answered.
He folded his arms behind his head to relax.
The pilot called to him just then. "Master Byte, there is an incoming transmission from Bit. Priority channel!"
"Master? Byte?", Ram asked suspiciously. Byte grumbled under his breath about how stupid the pilot was. Now Ram knew his identity. That could make it more difficult!
"Bit? What is it?", Byte called into his communicator.
"I have a course correction from Dr. Doppler.", Bit replied.
"Send it here.", Byte said enthusiastically.
"No. Not coordinants, just a destination. Go straight to Doppler Tower okay?"
"But what about the outskirts? We were supposed to land outside the city, what about security?"
"It won't be a problem. Dr. Doppler has taken care of it personally. Just go to the tower, that is all you need to know for now."
"Bit? C'mon! Don't give me that! Bit?"
It was no use, Bit cut the link.
Ram felt smug. "Having problems?"
"Shut up! I told you not to say anything."
"Okay sure.............Byte.", Ram sneered.
"Listen! Nobody in your position talks to me like that! I can still rough you up If I have to. You just need to be alive, which means I can beat you till your almost dead! You want to try me?", Byte flashed in anger.
"You listen! I only agreed to come with you so that I can get back to my power plant. Whatever this Doppler guy wants with me, obviously isn't as important as getting the power plant back on line. Where are we even going anyway?"
Ram asked this because it was pitch black outside. The sky was full with overcast, and there were patches of fog outside. Visibility was poor, but ram could tell that he was flying over water. In fact, they had been for quite some time now.
"You will know when we get there.", Byte answered.
Ram sat silent, and watched out the window for what seemed to be an endless hour and a half. All in all, they had gone two hours "as the crow flys" away from Metropolis North.
Ram tried to remember that. Off in the distance, a bright city lit up the sky. Thunder Ram looked at it with curious awe. Byte smirked, and said. "There it is!"
"A city?", Ram asked. "Way out here in the middle of the ocean?" Byte turned to look at him. "Well, yes...a work in progress anyway."
"But how? There isn't any land for hundreds of miles in any direction! I don't get it!", Ram asked.
"Don't ask me! All your questions will be answered once we get there."
"And where is THERE, Hmm? What do you call this...place?"
Byte looked at him, and said with pride, "New Doppler Town!"

Blade Runner Lay there motionless on the scanning table. As the Blue light went over him a couple of times it stopped and Blade runner sat up. Signas came out of the control room and started talking "I'm sorry Blade Runner that we had to do that." he said that in a commanding tone "But we had to take extra Precautions because of whats happened to the base." he said Blade Runner looked towards Signas "I understand" "Well then, shall we start talking about your new mission?" Signas said that as half telling and asking him to. Blade Runner just nodded. The two reploids walked down the torn up hallway. "May I ask what happened to you?"
Blade Runner shook his head "I am sorry sir, but I must not tell anyone" Signas just nodded. They finally came to the mission debreifing room and Blade runner sat down...

Metro North had more problems. The half hour had passed. Thunder Ram's crack team of specialists had found no answer as to why the generators wouldn't come back up on-line. They had spent the next hour listening to Ram yell, while they had yet even more problems. Generators A, B, D, and E also went off line. The whole city was left blacked out now! And what is worse, it was night fall!
The plant itself had power, but that came from a hidden, undeground generator. Whatever was causing this, it obviously hadn't reached that yet. Communications were frizzing out however. Ram tried to use the Vid-comm screen, but nothing happened. Just as he was sitting at the terminal though, it turned on by itself, and an image appeared.
"Who are you?", Ram asked. His voice was cold.
"Should I tell you that? You really don't need to know!"
"What do you want with me?", Ram asked.
"Ah, the direct approach."
"Answer me, or I'll...."
"Do nothing! You cannot do anything to me fool. You don't know me, or even where I am. Think before you speak!"
"Hmph.", Ram glared at the screen.
"Alright. Fine, My name is Dr. Doppler, and I want YOU Thunder Ram."
"What? Doppler? Never heard of you! What do you want with me?" Ram asked.
"I cannot tell you that. All I'll tell you is that if you don't say yes, you'll never be able to turn the lights back on. Think of what that will mean! You could have riots on your hands! Think of the chaos! Say yes, and you will not regret it. Really, don't be foolish!"
"I am not foolish. It is not part of my personality. Am I to meet you somewhere?"
"Yes, just walk outside, and step in the aircar. You'll recognize it....don't worry. Thank you for making this easier on yourself. Good day." With that, the comm fizzled off. RX was now on the outside of the shuttle attaching the dishes and other components..

RX: Hmmm..I wonder...what could possibly make Proto join our side willingly? hmm...what is most dear to him...ah yes! I have it!..Alia!!!!! heh heh...you will be the catalyst for Protoman X's rebirth! and the destruction of the Hunters once and for all!!!!

Just then the Red crystal on RX's head began to glow...

RX: Agh!!! what the!!?? urghh!! whats...happening!! argggghhh!!!!!!

RX began to clutch his head in pain...

RX: Arghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! Stop it!!!! You can't get back control!!!!!! you are dead!!!!! arggghhhhhhhh!!!

RX: Grrrrr!!! I...won't let you...hurt..proto..I'd..rather...die!!!!!

RX: What!!!?? Fool!! what are you planning to do!!?? we'll both be killed!!!!!!

RX: Saving..proto and grrr myself!!!

RX: nooooooo!!!!!!

RX grabed the harness and pulled so hard that it broke lose and he began drifting toward the nearest asteroid at high speed

RX: Damn you!!! if you do this you will die!!

RX: I don't care...my life is not really worth anything anyway...Its a small price to pay to save proto from this living hell I am in..I've fought you with the last of my strength..I can't..do it..anymore..ughh..I'm..losing..contro-

RX: You Damned pest!!! Now you've gotten me into a serious problem...damn you..you won't let me activate the boostsers!!! I'll get control back you fool!!!!!!

Back at the shuttle

Alia: MY GOD!!!!!!! Protoman!!! Look!!!!!

PX: Huh!!?? what!!!! RX!!!!!!!!!!! He's gonna hit that meteor!!!!!!!

Alia: His harnes must have broke!!!!!!!

PX: Quickly!!!! strear the shuttle that way!!! NOW!!!!!!!

Alia: Right!!

The shuttle speeded towards RX's loacation just as he was about to impact with the meteor..

PX: Open the shuttle doors!!!!!! use the Claw beam!!

The shuttle fired a stream of blue/purple electricity that latched onto RX and surrounded his body..it then dragged him back into the shuttle and the doors shut

Just at that moment RX's crystal stopped glowing..

RX: Good..got back control at alst..damn that fool..nearly got me killed!!

PX: RX!!!!! are you ok!!!!!?????? what happneded!!!!!!!

RX: My harness broke....thats all...I had it under control...

Alia: Thats not the way it looked from here!!!

RX:........

Alia: Well at least your ok...thats the important thing...

RX: Well luckily I had just finished before the harnes broke..

PX: Ok..good...help us with the trancevers will you?

RX: fine........

Security was tight around the plant. Maverick gaurds were posted in twos at almost every gate, window, and air duct. The power plant had just been rebuilt, and the month of testing had past.
The islands were at one time known as Hawaii, but over time the names changed alot. Also, volcanic activity changed the shape of the islands, so that they grew in size. For a time, they were even uninhabitable, because of lava damage, but it had been years since the D.E.A had cleaned the place up. The main city was known as Metropolis North, and even though the name lacked in originallity, it was the only term that could be used to describe the place. A pretty big city for such an island, and it was the place where Thunder Ram called home.
He was very busy today. He had been watching the teams work around the clock to fix the plant. Some seismic activity had shaken the plant, and caused some damage to generators C, and F. A quarter of Metro North was dependant on power from these two generators. Seismic activity aside, they should be able to start them up again. His friends at the Seismography lab had detected no further activity, so things seemed safe. Still, it seemed quite suspicious that just one little tremor had popped up, and nothing would follow. This worried him a bit. Despite his reservations, he began with the count down. It was beginning to be dusk on the island, and the section of the city that lost power would again be plunged into darkness. Ram called for the count down.
One of his associates, a human named Jaice Carron stood next to him. Jaice was alright. At least he never got on Ram's nerves alot. Except when Jaice called him T-ram, that really made him flinch. Just something about that erked him.
Jaice spoke into a comm unit he held up to his cheek. Ram stood triumphantly in the background. He was shorter than Sigma, at least, but stocky. He had gleaming blue metallic armor, and steel cables from his power pack, which connected at his elbows. He could create sparks with his fists, and slam into people with his head. Also, his ram horns were shorter than normal length. At least the metal parts were. Like his predecessor, Flame Stag, he could expand his horns. But, instead of using fire, he used electric energy. This made it so that when his head hit his opponent, they would be jolted with a blast of energy. This was a powerful attack. Battle however was the furthest thing from his mind.
He wanted to see the plant up and running again. He folded his arms, and with his thumb, and fore finger stroked the artificial beard hair he had been given. He felt it made him look more regal, and sophisticated. Ram had a hard, stubborn personality. He seemed the type to snap at his employees alot. He was a tough character, and didn't like to have any dealings with outsiders. He was also quite the pessimist!
"How long Jaice?", he asked. His tone was inquisitive, his voice naturally low. Jaice, a man of medium build, and crazy blond hair called back to him. "I don't know, Gyin says half an hour, but we'll see. They're trying to lock down the safetys on C, and F is having start up failure."
"I don't get it Jaice. Why does this have to happen now? We've tested these things for a month, and they worked fine each time.", Ram brooded.
"Yeah, we ran diagnostics on them, repaired them, and tested them in the sims. We never actually started them up until now. It may take some time to..." Ram interrupted him, "Jaice tell Gyin that he's already had too much time. Give him his half an hour, but no more than that. We've already lost too much. Half an hour. That's it! Got it?"
"Right Chief, I'll tell him.", Jaice replied.
Ram turned his back to Jaice. He stood in his office on the 25th floor of the office complex next to the plant facility.
His office had a very high ceiling, and four large windows which went floor to ceiling. Large columns of light bathed the floor, opposite the large columns of shadow. Ram folded his arms behind his back, and paced over to one of the large windows. Placing his hand on his chin again, he put the other against the glass. He sighed, and muttered to himself,
Oh...be patient with me. Soon, I will be able to help you."
From his office, he had a spectacular view of the city. It was almost as if the city could hear him speak to it. He had gone through delays, but this one was the most costly. He would have to wait...but only for another half an hour. That in itself wasn't so bad! (to be continued)

The shuttle was now leaving the stratosphere and begining to break Earths gravitational pull...

PX: Hold on tight! were in for a bumby ride!

RX: Understood....

Alia: Ok..I'm ready..

The ship blasted its Ion drive dashed forward! The shuttle began to shake heavily...

The 3 strugled to stay in their seats...

PX: Ughhaaaaaaa!!!!!

Alia: Woah..wow...ohhhhaaa!!

RX: Grrrrr......

The shuttle finnaly broke free of the gravitation pull and the shaking ceased...

PX: You..guys..ok?

RX: fine.......

Alia: I'm a little...shaken up..but I'll be alright!

PX: Good...I'm glad no-one was hurt

Alia: Me too!

RX: No time for chit-chat...lets get on with the mission...we have to manually set up the jamming devices both on the outside and inside of the ship..otherwise we will be detected...

PX: Yeah, your right..but..where do we start?

RX: Well we need to set up the dishes on the outside...which will probably be the hardest part..so I'll do it...then we need you 2 to set up the relay's and trancevers...this is an old shuttle which is why we have to do this..there was not time to do it at HQ because of the urgency of our mission...

PX: I see...be carefull...

Alia: WHAT!!?? your not just going to let him go out there by himself are you X???

PX: It has to be done...and we need 2 in here..

Alia: But its too dangerous!!!

RX: I live with danger every second of every day...this should be no different..

Alia: but.....

RX: I'll be back in a while...

(at that RX entered the air-lock with the necessary equipment and drifted outside the shuttle latched on with a harness)

RX: Time to get to work...I'm cutting the com now...no more communication till we are finished..

PX: Ok...we'd better get to work now too Alia..

Alia: Ok...

PX: Look..I know your worried..but he's one of the strongest reploids I've ever met...this should be a breeze!

Alia: Ok, I guess your right! lets get to it!

(At that the 2 began working on the trancevers)

Sigma sat back in his chair. Alot had happened in the past few days. Reports from all over the solar system had come in, and it would take some time to sort out what would happen. X had been infected, Zero was wounded, and the collection of Newer, more powerful Maverick Agents had begun. Vile had done well, as had the others. Sigma knew that the time would come to show himself again. This time, he would not spare X, or Zero. He had a master plan, and as such, a master trap. If He could make X and Zero come to him, he might have a chance of pulling this off.

alright here goes the reason why I brought doctor light into this is because since he created AI chip for X he could have done that for himself so he might be able top help X and so he had a AI program that would put a hologram of himself he put all of his memory's in that chip almost his whole mind before he died and when he died and X woke up he awoken also and he knew Cannon (or Blade Runner for that matter) was frozen under that ice and so he needed Cannon to come back to help X but when Cannon was brought back all he could remember was his original name but he made up a fake one so he could recooperate but he had anmesia and when he fought Vile and Blade runner was damged he wanted him to still be alive so he wanted to keep BR alive long enough for him to regain his memory. so Dr. light revied BR and his memory so he could help X and I hope that is enough info if not you can make ur own

A few strange things just reading over your post...why would Dr.Light's hologram be talking to Bladerunner? or helping him for that matter...he is just a hologram after all..so how exactly would he help BR? and how the hell would he know that RX had been infected by the sigma virus?

As far as I know..Dr.Light only existed withing the armour capsules (are they networked or something?) and yet for some reason he acts as if he is alive and has knowledge of whats going on? but anyway..the only breaking of this rule was when for some reason and somehow Dr'Lights hologram appeared over X to help him...

But anyway..to answer your question..no I want to keep it in suspence for now..lets just forget he said anything about RX...and we'll just accept that he is there (I assume you will explain later..or I'll give it a go explaining))

I've just realised something..how could zero be at the hunter base when Vile got there if he is still on mars with saber wolf???!!??

Hmm...not sure how we are going to work this one...but anyway..I'll just post with what has just happened for now...

In the hunter medical bay...

X lay on a scanning bed after Bladerunner had brought him in..his condition remained an enigma to all to medical officers...they continued scanning him while his condition remained unchanged..

RX, PX and Alia had all gone on a mission in the shuttle...saber wolf was nowhere to be found(?)

And blademan had dissapeared..

And Zero was injured and brought to the infirmary..with all of the top class hunters either away or injured (or dead) the hunter base was practically defenceless with only a few rookie hunters and security bots..

Signas: This does not look good..we are wide open to attack at any time...we need help..hmm..I'll hold try outs for new hunters...because the situation is getting out of hand...hopefully someone with some talent will turn up...I'll call in assistance from the AMSDF (Anti Maverick Self Defence Force) for the time being..until we can get back on our feet again...just what is Sigma planning? I have sent scouts to infiltrate his base and find out what he is up too..hopefully we will find all of the answers soon...that is all sir..

Maverick Hunter chairmen: Very well...initialize your plans...but be careful with brining in outside forces..we don't want a repeat of the repliforce incident...

Signas: Agreed..we will take every precaution sir..

MHC: Very good...end transmission...

Signas:....maybe we should..call in mercenaries? hmm...very risky...I'll have to choose my next step very carefully...

Cannon dashed at zero with his Saber out the battle raged on but the battle did not go in Cannon's favor

Cannon:n-no

in cannon's last attempt he grabed zero's leg

Cannon:have a taste of my new virus the Cannon Virus

Zero:URRRRGGG!!!!

Zero started to lose his mind...

Zero:no... must keep focus

Voice:good job Zero you have defeated the famos Dr. Cannon Strife. now bring him to the lab and we shall seal him in the cave he was found....

BR:(this is what happened to me.. Zero did this to me)

The vision ended

Blade Runner woke up

Voice:so you finally got your memory back

Blade Runner:Your..Dr. Light...

the image nodded

Dr. Light:yes I am I also created X you must not tell him you saw me I rebooted the virus that you created in you when you have the chance give it to sigma it will help you..oh and I have bad news... RX...

BR:what is wrong about RX!?

Blade Runner woke up but he was out side in a desert

BR:*thoughts* what where am I and why can't I move

Blade runner's head moved with out him saying so

Blade runner saw 2 very familiar bodies on the ground badly damaged then he looked up and he saw Zero!

BR:*thoughts*Zero!!?? hmm I wonder wha?

Blade runner said somthing he did not want to say "Y-You are Zero aren't you? you have hurt my friends but you will not harm me!!!

Zero:you pathetic fool you are not even a complete robot and you challenge me?? well guess I will have to destroy you

Zero pulled out his saber and attacked Blade Runner

Zero:Die Dr. Cannon!!!

BR:thoughts* (wha? how did he know my original name...oh my God!! this must be in the past!)

Blade Runner's body moved like a cat doging every one of Zero's attacks and Blade Runner pulled out his saber and slashed at Zero

BR*thoughts* (hmmm I guess I'm just watching I guess I can't control my own body guess I'll just have to relax and watch)

the battle raged on between the two robots tem slashing at each other

Cannon's thoughts: hmm guess I will have to use my new attack that I learned

Blade runner's hand turned into a bright green and a green ball of light appeared

Cannon:Laser Bomb!!!!!

Blade runner threw it at zero and a big explosion happened zero survived but, was severly damaged

Zero:I will get you next time!!

Zero teleported off into the distance

the com on BR's hand turned on

Voice:Cannon get down to the lab immediatly we have an emergency

Cannon:yes Doctor light

BR:(that old man that saved me...that must be doctor light!! oh my god.. but how can he still be alive?)

BR teleported below and then the vision ended

Protoman X and Alia were busy with the launch start-up, while RX looked out the window and saw Zero running in, he looked paniced and damaged...

RX: (Heh..so..it seems vile came for bladerunner..just as planned...1 down..1 to go..mwhahahaha)

Just at that moment RX looked over at PX and smirked evily...

RX: (Vile was sent to get Bladerunner...I was sent to get PX..but I wonder who Sigma will send to get Saber Wolf?? heh..I hope he allows me the honer of tearing that oversised shop keeper to pieces...heh..but my hands are full at the moment..with you! Protoman X!! soon will be either become a maverick! or be destroyed!!! just as lord sigma has planned...)

Alia: Ok the shuttle is ready for launch!

PX: Ok, places everyone! brace yourselves for lift-off!!

RX: Very well...

Well I've decided that I'm officially gonna post again..I don't think you should all be posting your final battles just yet...I have an interesting direction in which I want to try and steer this RPG...I hope everyone gets back to posting regularly soon..

At the shuttle launch bay...

RX: ......so..thats our objective..

PX: Yeah, since we are running low on hunters because of all the recent Maverick Activeities we've decided that its best to send me and Alia..and now you of course..which will make my job alot easier

Signas: Yes it is very fortunate that you arrived when you did, this will make the mission have much better odds of success, with 2 top class hunters working together...(Hmm..its almost too fortunate...I'm not sure if I entirely trust you Ryujin X...but due to staff shortages I have no other choice...)

Alia: What do you mean "2 top class hunters"?!!?? Don't you mean 3 top class hunters!!??? (Alia said in an angry tone)

Signas: Yes of course.....my mistake...(I wonder..is it a mistake to send a rookie like Alia on a mission like this?..well it should be no danger if PX is with her..and...RX too...hmmmm)

Alia: Your name is Ryujin X right? pleased to meet you! I'm Alia!

RX: .........

Alia: Well? arn't you going to say anything!!??

PX: Uhmm...well thats just the way RX is..not very social if ya know what I mean...

Alia: Ok..well if thats the way you are then thats the way you are! nice to meet you anyway..

RX: yes....this is your 1st field mission is it not?

Alia: Yeah! I'm looking forward to it!! (Alia said in an excited tone)

RX: Hmm..must be desperate if their letting rookies go along...just stay close and be alert and you won't get hurt...and most importantly..dont get in my way...

PX held Alia back as she went for RX in a fit of anger

PX: Alia! cool it!! he's just being himself!! he did'nt mean it!

RX: humph humph humph (RX laughed under his breath)

Alia now became furious and started at RX again

PX: Wow! hold on!! cut it out!! woahh!!

PX triped over Alia and the 2 fell to the ground

RX: Anyway..if you 2 love birds are finished then lets get going..

Both PX and Alia looked to one another and then looked away in a blush of embarresment

Signas: I agree with Ryujin...you should get going soon

Alia: But..ah wait...you've got the wrong Idea!! me and him are not together!! we're just co-workers!!

PX: Uhmmm..yeah she's right!

RX: I could'nt care less what your relationship is..just don't let it interfere with the mission...

The 2 looked at each other again and then to the ground...

RX began walking up the ramp to the shuttle with his back turned to PX, Alia and Signas

RX: ........well..are you comming or not?

PX: Yeah..uhhh..lets go..

The 3 enter'd the shuttle got seated and prepared for launch..

Signas was looking at the shuttle deep in thought..

S: Can I really trust him? the way he got back without a scratch on him seems too convienient...and his scene outside the base made us skip our normal virus scans on entry to the HQ...I'll have to investigate more on what happened...I just hope I have'nt sent them on a one way trip...

(well most of you guys probly won't read this but I'm gonna put BR's last stand this is how he'll regain his memory)
Blade Runner sat at a window staring out to the destruction that lay in fron t off him. He ffelt guilty about X

BR:I was the one who was supposed to assist himbut when he needed me most I faild him he got infected and it's all my fault

Blade Runner heard some rumbling behind his quarters walls then a wall bursted open and right there in front of Blade runner was Vile in his new mech.

Vile:ahhhhh I was looking for you sigma wants you a maverick so prepare to become a maverick

Vile aimed his sholder cannon at Blade Runner when suddenly Zero came in

Zero:wyhat is goin o- Vile!!!!!!

Vile aimed the cannon at zero and was about to fire

BR:No!!!!!

Blade Runner ran towards Zero at full force knocking him out of the way Unfortanantly, the cannon fired and put a hole the size of a base ball in Blade Runner

Zero:Nooo!

Zero attacked Vile with all of his might but Vile just hit him once and Zero hit the wall and went unconcience

Vile:Blade runner I guess I cannot use you any more you are now usless to sigma so good bye

the left arm of his mech's jand dissapeared and turned into a arm cannon the cannon fired a huge blast

BR:no..I w-w-ill n-not die.....so e-easily

BR's left arm turned into a buster and charged it up. Vile fired his arm cannon sending a huge blast towards Blade runner. Blade Runner fired right b4 the blast hit him and it exploded the blast mostly but not enough the blast completly destroyed Blade runners legs his left arm side the only thing left of him was bot of his sholders and his chest and right arm. Blade Runner passed out. fortunatly the blast sent vile out the window and he couldn't get back up
Blade Runner was on the verge of dieing when a image of a old man appeared over Blade runner

Nicely said G-man..I agree with you..we should put this board on standby or hibernation till we all get some more time..cause I'm really busy these days too..which is why I've had a lack of posts..so we should come back to this in a few months or so...and it will be lively again, so keep the board alive..its down but not out

(Okay, I guess that's it for me.
Two of my three characters are dead, but have a means to return, should I get more spare time. My third character just disappears, and goes about his own life. If I do decide to come back...and this, of course is based solely on how much free time I get...then Who knows what will happen. I hope that the board is still here if/ or when I get to come back, but if not....once again, I will say that it whas been nice posting with everyone. I figure this:
IF you guys decide to end it....go out in style, and give the facts on what happens to your characters. Protoman X still has the whole time travel thread to explore, and I'm sure that both Ryujin, and Blade Runner have a direction, though I'm not yet sure what it is. Besides, this is also a nice chance for us to bridge the gap between X4, and 5. Even if it isn't official, it still was/is fun. With that, I'll say Good bye. I hope the board is here whenever I can return. It has been nice posting with you guys....later!)

Remember this part of the story? I was proof reading it. I got this far, and found this mistake. It didn't read how it was supposed to, so I'll fill in the blank.
Zero could now see why Mega Man X had had so [much trouble with Typhoon Tiger last time. During the battle, Tiger slashed Zero's arm, making it hard for him to use his]Z-Saber. Sorry about the mistake...If I find any more, I'll fix them.

(The Conclusion.....Zero vs Saber Wolf: Part 3)
"Zero, you've made your final mistake.", Saber Wolf scoffed.
"Oh really? What's that?", Zero asked coyly. He took a step in, and attacked with a slash at mid height. Wolf blocked it easilly with his left, swatting the blade away.
"That puny weapon of yours isn't up to the task of beating me!", Wolf replied.
In response with his words, Wolf tried a two hit combo, straight down with his left blade, then a mid-level thrust inward towards Zero's body with his right. Zero worked quickly, bringing the blade up, and parallel with his body to block the first hit, then quickly spun the blade around in his hands to swat away the mid-level jab. While his hands worked the blade, he side stepped to the right. He used the momentum of the spinning blade, and his side step to bring the blade around for a second spin, and land a quick slash across Wolf's back.
"You were saying?", Zero smirked. Wolf's eyes went red. He flashed his teeth, and let out an animalistic snarl. Zero remained cool, confident. Even still, he never wanted to have to fight Saber Wolf. It happened so quickly on Mars. He and Wolf decided to split up, and see who could find Typhoon Tiger's lair first. The other would likely find it, and be able to come in and help...if necessary. Zero found it first. He and Tiger fought.....a grueling battle on both sides. Zero could now see why Mega Man X had had so
Z-Saber. Next thing you know...Saber Wolf drops from the ceiling, and in one savage combination of blows, Tiger fell to the floor. Zero started to thank him for the help, but knew something was wrong. Coming out of his thoughts, he quickly rolled sideways to avoid a charge attack from Saber Wolf. Wolf skidded, and regained his balance, then brought his blades to bear. He attacked with what Zero recognized as the same combo he used earlier on Typhoon Tiger. Of course, Zero was good with his saber, but not good enough to block all the hits. The frenzy started in a cross slash to the body, in a one-two pattern. The hits continued, but alternated between high, low, thrusts, and slashes. Zero stepped back, and spun his blade around quickly, pivoting on his heels, and doing some great blade work. Wolf managed to slash Zero's shoulder, leg, and his final blow struck Zero flat across the chest. The wound burned...more so with Zero's own rage feeding his pain. Wolf let out a triumphant howl.
"You will....not survive this....Wolf.", Zero grunted.
"Oh....Really?! I find it hard to believe Zero. Escpecially when you are the one who's on the floor, groaning in pain.", Wolf's face was cold. Zero had to know....what happened.
"Wolf....uhhh.", Zero held his chest. Saber Wolf kicked him hard in the torso...his toe claws digging hard into Zero's insides. Zero rolled a few feet, and his blade fell out of his hand. Wolf smiled, and brought his foot upon the blade. Then, leaning all 451 pounds of his body down, he crushed the hande into the floor. the metal casing shrieked, and sparks flew as the device shorted out, and exploded. Zero's Z-Saber was destroyed.
"Now what do you intend to do, huh little man?", Wolf laughed. Zero reached deep inside himself. With his eyes closed, he focused his auto repair system on the wound across his chest. The other two were not so severe. He also accessed the concealed energy tank he had stored internally before the trip to Mars. A good thing he forgot to remove it, he noted. It was half full, but that was good enough, since his health had reached the critical level. He stopped breathing hard, and his eyes opened fully. Just as he looked up, he saw Saber Wolf in mid air, coming down fast. He was trying to deliver a death blow. Instead of rolling out of the way, Zero smiled, and raised his fist into the air. His hand disappeared inside his wrist, and his arm phased into the familliar shape of the Z-Buster.
A red crystal appeared at the end....a Metal Bomb! This was the weapon which Metal Scoprion had given him. The Metal Bomb resembled an ancient Weapon once known as a Crash Bomb. The only difference was that it had three hook-claws, instead of two, and it fired differently. If the claws hit, they would open, and cling to whatever it was they hit, until the bomb exploded. If the red crystal hit, the bomb would shatter on impact. The detonation timer was set for three seconds otherwise. The Metal Bomb shot out, and hit Wolf square in the chest. The blow was enough to knock him off balance, but the bomb exploded, sending arcs of electricity scourging around his body. Wolf screamed in pain. The flash point....the place where the bomb detonated was completely destroyed.
The meant that there was a smoking dent in Wolf's chest. Wolf's armor was so dense, that this was the only weapon which could do any signifigant damage to him. It looked like the tide was turning. Zero got up to his feet.
Wolf screamed in pain, holding his chest. "Gahhhhhhhhh.....blast! That stupid bomb! How could you....."
"What? Oh...this? Zero said holding up his arm cannon. This was a present from your friend Metal Scorpion."
"What! No! Grrrhhhhhh......you butcher....you got him too? I'll never forgive you for this Zero!" Wolf screamed.
"I didn't kill him, no. One of Sigma's Agent's did."
"Liar! Tell me the truth...I deserve that much at least!"
"Homing Hawk. It was Homing Hawk who killed him."
"What!? Sigma's third? How could you know this? Tell me Zero.....or so help me...."
"I went to find Scorpion....I had every intention of fighting him...I needed this.", Zero showed Wolf the weapon. "..But I wasn't just going to take him out without an explanation. I wanted to talk to him first."
"You make it sound like you actually cared about him...Gahhh! Don't make me laugh! You didn't know him Zero....uhhhh", Wolf groaned.
"Well, in any case....when I got there, I saw the place surrounded with Mavericks. Hawk, and Scorpion were fighting eachother on the top of his fortress. Scorpion was doing well, but he wasn't going to win.", Zero told Wolf.
"So you joined Hawk, and defeated him....Gahhhh! Zero you're..."
"No! That's not it at all!" Zero countered. "Scorpion led Hawk into a garbage crusher. I got there too late to save him. I had enough of my own problems just trying to find a way inside! Then, when I got there...Hawk was destroyed, and Metal Scorpion was hanging on by a thread. He's one tough fighter you know.", Zero smirked.Wolf just huffed at him.
"I told him what happened to you....at least....I told him what you told me....and he agreed to give me his weapon."
"Then....he is gone.", Wolf stated coldly.
"Yes....but not forgotten.", Zero replied optimistically. This talking was good. The blast from the Metal Bomb had taken the edge off of Wolf's rage. If Zero could keep him talking, he might be able to find out what happened.
"You never knew him Zero...you will never remember him! Now I'm going to send to you to meet him!", Wolf tried to get up. He tried to attack, but he was too weak. He just slumped back down to the ground. Frustrated, he beat his fist into the floor.
"Wolf....I'm not going to kill you.", Zero said warmly.
"Then you are a fool Zero.", Wolf replied.
"I'm not going to kill you unless you tell me what happened to you on Mars."
"Oh.....that? I just found out who I really was.", Wolf answered.
"You were never meant to be a Maverick.", Zero replied.
"Maybe I was! I met Sigma there. He was trying to make a break for his shuttle when I saw him."
"What! Sigma! You saw him there!". Zero asked...surprised.
"Yes. He was trying to escape when he heard that two Maverick Hunters had entered the Base. One matched your description. The other was me, but he must have though it was X. I overheard a gaurd say that one of them was blue."
"That makes sense. Sigma really is a coward then, huh!"
"No....not really. I stopped Sigma, and we fought. He said he'd never expected to see me again. I was too much for him. I hurt him really bad. You'd have been proud of me Zero....unhhh." Wolf groaund again.
"So what happened? Did you get him, or did he get away?"
"I was about to finish him, when he started to glow a strange color of purple. He flooded me with the Sigma Virus. That was how he got away. He's stronger this time Zero. I don't think you can beat him this time. Anyway it doesn't matter anymore....The virus has already taken over. I'm no longer the Saber Wolf you once knew. I'm doing this for myself....not for Sigma, or for anyone else. If you die, I can trade X for whatever I want! Sigma is sure to give me what I've asked for this time....the offer is too good to pass up. I place his enemied bodies at his feet, then I get everything I've always wanted....money, power....the sky's the limit!"
"It is too late for that Wolf. All you're going to get is another...."
"Enough talk!", Wolf screamed. While he was telling Zero about what happened, Wolf was actually accessing his own repair systems. This thought hadn't occured to Zero, strangely enough. Wolf Wasn't a hundred percent, but he was still not to be taken lightly.
He stood up, and tucked his blades away. An evil smile came across his face.
"Until now, you have never seen my true power. Behold the might of my ultimate weapon!" Wolf stood in a fighters pose. But, instead of attacking, he started to charge up with energy. Pink ribbons of light wound thier way around his body. Bright pin shaped energy streamed into his fists, as tiny particles gathered, and clustered together. Soon, he had a pink ball of plasma energy on each fist, with lightning arcs between each fist.
With a loud voice, he screamed, "PLASMA CRUSHER BALL!" , and threw the sphere at Zero. The projectile was only the size of a bowling ball, but was still a most devastating attack. Zero crossed his arms over his chest, as it was too fast for him to dodge. The ball shoved him hard into a wall, and splashed over him like water. The second he hit the wall, it exploded. Zero fell to his knees, down, but not out. Wolf started to charge a second attack. Zero knew his timing had to be just right. Zero could not charge this weapon up as Mega Man X could, so he had to rely on other means. The Metal Bomb, though damaging as it was to Wolf, would not finish him off unless he had been hit enough times with it. But, if Zero could wait until Wolf was fully charged, the damage would be compounded.
Moments later, The energy had reached its maximum level. Zero waited patiently.
"And now.....say goodbye Zero!", Wolf howled. "Grrahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
Zero yelled, "Yeaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!", and fired his last Metal Bomb. It was the last one he would ever need to use, even if he had a near full compliment of the weapon's energy. The crystal didn't hit first! The bomb had spun around so that the claws stuck into Wolf's armor. Wolf was still charging when it hit. He looked down, and started laughing.
Zero covered himself, and prepared for the blast. "Gyaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!", Wolf screamed, again....suddenly, the bomb detonated. The flash of light was so blinding that Zero had to cover his eyes. Saber Wolf's body was ripped apart by the tidal surge of energy. Tiny explosions rocked his frame, while his power core detonated, and the flash consumed his body. Pieces of shrapnal blew out in all directions, and stuck into the wall.
Saber Wolf was no more.
After a few moments, the sprinkler system had come on. Zero was getting soaked, just lying there, so he got up. He looked around the room. Everywhere, he saw parts of Saber Wolf's body. Then, he looked over to where X was, and saw what was left of Saber Wolf, still clinging to life by a thread. His head, neck, and part of his shoulders was all that was left. "Unhhhhhhhhh....Zer..........ro......I w....wassss....wrrrrooooooooonng tooooo t.......try to beat youuuu.....T...t...ta...ke thisss.....please. This is the way to...cure.......X. Oh......anddd....pleassse....give thisssss.....to my men.......they will know what to do with it..........goodbye Zero....." With that, Saber Wolf's remains exploded, and he was gone.
He had left behind, his weapon, a new tool called the "Virus Buster," and a data card for his men. Even though Zero feared the worstif someone ever rebuilt him, he still knew the he would honor his friends dying wish. Resting down on his knees, he held Wolf's data card in his hand, and said, "Good bye.....my friend."
The battle with Saber Wolf was over, but more Mavericks remained. Also, X needed time to recover, and there was still the matter of finding Sigma. And what about
Ryujin X, Protoman X, Blade Runner, and all the rest of the new Maverick Hunters?
What would become of them? They needed a leader. They needed someone strong.
Sigma was still out there, and as long as he was....Zero knew he had a purpose. (END)

"I can't belive this! How could you let Sigma get to you like that?", Zero asked.
"This has nothing to do with Sigma!", Wolf snarled.
"Doesn't it? I remember what your friend Wave Tortise said to you. Remember what he said? You told me...on our trip to Mars. He said, 'Whenever you deal with Sigma, you eventually lose!' Its TRUE! You've lost!", Zero glared at him.
"I have lost nothing! In fact, I have actually gained more by becoming a Maverick! Such power...power that YOU could never know...power that YOU could never understand!"
"Wrong again Wolf! I know of this power about which you speak!"
"How could you....Maverick Hunter?", Wolf hissed.
"Because! I was a Maverick!"
"WHAT?" Wolf gasped. "How could you..."
"What? Return to normal? I figured out a long time ago that such power only left me feeling hollow. It uses you. It sucks you dry, and leaves nothing for you in the end. You'll only get yourself killed! No! True power comes from within! You can't beat me Wolf. Besides...like I already told you...you've already lost!"
"Explain yourself Zero..before I cut you down!", Wolf seethed.
"Fine! You wanted Sigma to give you battle cruisers. You saved him, so you figured he owed you. But Sigma only repays his debts with treachery. So, because you didn't get what you want, you turned against him. You even killed his agents, hoping that you could use his rage against him. But you didn't see what was really happening. Sigma blinded you by using your OWN rage against yourself. You became colder, unfeeling! An uncaring monster! You stopped being yourself when that happened. In the end...you became consumed by your rage, and Sigma got you as his own. He didn't give you anything! Even still...this power is all in your mind! If you just listened to me I could-"
"ARGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! Enough talk! I've heard enough out of you Zero! It's time to PUT UP or SHUT UP!"
"Actually, I'll do both....prepare to lose Wolf! Yahhhhhhh!" Zero called as he drew his saber.
The two stood there blades glowing, eyes locked...ready for batttle! (to be concluded in part three.)

This was my whole story arc: Saber Wolf was supposed to be seen as a hero-type, and Metal Scorpion was painted in a negative light to actually be a Maverick. In the end, each showed his true colors by taking action. Metal Scorpion died, but left a legacy behind him. After he gave Zero his weapon, and data card, Zero fulfilled his wish, and finished him with his Z-Sabre. (Metal Scorpion's Junk yard was seized by the national government, and shut down. Environmental teams were called in to clean the place in accordance with new laws that were ratified.)
When Zero returned to Mav Hunter HQ, the place was in shambles. An army of Mavericks led by Vile...or a Vile Clone had decimated the building...and now occupied it. Many of the Hunters had fought hard, and the Vile Clone was destroyed, but Zero knew why they had come. They had come for X. Zero raced to the training facility, because he knew it was the largest, and best place for a battle. He found Mega Man X there, being held hostage in a capsule, and Saber Wolf appeared...dropping down from the ceiling again...in an ambush. Wolf taunted Zero, telling him he had been made stronger by the virus, and that he also had a "cure" for the Strain of the Sigma Virus which had infected X.
He challenged Zero to a duel, promising no mercy! X's very life hung in the balance. Zero has no choice but to fight... he has to fight a friend to save a friend!

Wave Tortise: Presently still at his Pacific Island Base. He operates a successful subamrine development corporation. He decided in the end it was better to forget his dealings with Sigma, and the Maverick Hunters. He now operates with no regard for the war between them, and openly sells underwater weapons systems to both sides. Much like his friend Saber Wolf, he now only cares about profit.

Saber Wolf: On Mars, the Sigma Virus overtook Saber Wolf. (Didn't see that one coming huh?) As Zero fought with Typhoon Tiger, he was wounded in battle. Tiger was about to deal a death blow to Zero, but Wolf dropped down from the ceiling at the last second. Typhoon Tiger was obliterated, and Zero stood alone to face Wolf. Surprisingly, Wolf managed some control...because he allowed Zero a chance to escape. He calimed that he wanted to fight Zero at his best, and only his best. Zero left Mars with his life, but little else. (That side-kick character I used named: Bolt helped him to get home, and then later went his seperate way.)

Zero: Zero returned home to find that all was not well. Mega Man X had been returned to Maverick Hunter Base, and was in a deep Coma. The Sigma Virus was trying to purge his memory, and command protocols. After that process was supposed to complete itself, it was programmed to install new command protocols, making Mega Man X a slave of Sigma's. Zero knew he was powerless to help, and left X in the care of Life Saver. Zero learned from Life Saver of the only weapon that could beat Saber Wolf, so he sought out to get it.

Metal Scorpion: Homing Hawk had been pushing the Scorpion aroun ever since he had gotten there. Scorpion revolted, much to the surprise of everyone, proving to those suspicious Maverick Hunters that he was indeed NOT a Maverick, or a sympathizer with them. Hawk Was DESTROYED, in a gruelling battle with Scorpion. Using the same trick he did with Ryujin X, Scorpion, using the last of his power, lured him into a garbage crusher. Zero appeared just as it was too late, and the crusher fell upon both Hawk and Scorpion! Zero was able to turn the maching off just before Scorpion was completely destroyed, and talked with him. Although there was not much left of him, Scorpion agreed to give Zero his weapon for the greater good. He also gave Zero a backup datacard of his memory, and made him swear that if he was ever needed again, for whatever reason, that he could be rebuilt. Zero promised that he would do so, and took both the weapon, and the data card back to Mav Hunter HQ.

(Sub-plot characters "Breaker & "Scorch" died in battle...'nuff said!)

(Hmmm, It seems as if I never get to post anymore.
Obviously you guys must wonder where I am, right? Well, I can tell you that whatever precious little time I get to myself, I have about six million things to do.
Here's what I propose. (As long as it doesn't cost you anything...) Keep the board up. Since it is summer, people are going out alot more, and will likely spend less time on-line. Just wait until the weather gets colder, and participation will go up signifigantly!
I have decided to officially bow out of the story for now because I don't ever have time anymore. I will at least finish up my sub plots...in summary form. If this is the end, I'd hafta say its been nice posting with you all.
I'll come by when I can, but if the board is gone...then...)

Blade Runner Ran at the Mavericks but his foot got stuck in a hole...when he tried to pull it out the ground crumbled beneath him and he fwell into a hole..
BR:AHHH!!!

Blade Runner hit the ground...

BR:ugh...where am I..

When Blade Runner got up he noticed a body on the ground...

BR:what is this..

But then he noticed it was X!

"Wait! Something doesn't feel quite right here!", X said as he tugged at his helmet. Yes. Dr. Light WAS trying to tell him something. But something else inside that capsule didn't want X to know. It was All Dr Light could do to just get off that flash image of X. The machine shorted out, and exploded. But, even before X could try and guess what went wrong, his mind was seized by an uncontrollable fist! Rage swelled inside him like a deep river, threatening to consume him. He fell screaming to his knees, clutching desperately at his helmet. "NO! ITS TOO MUCH! GET IT OFF! I'VE GOT TO GET IT OFF...Ahh AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!"
The Sigma virus poured from its data storehouse. 1's and 0's, electrons which represent individual points of data, file commands, security overrides, and more things than he could count; All of them swept into his mind like water through a broken dam! His eyes grew dark, his expression changed, and an evil aura of energy flowed out from his armor. The infection had sprung itself on him like a lion on it's prey. X was ill prepared to handle it too! He had been infected with the Sigma Virus. He would become a Maverick for for sure...he thought. Either that, or this particular form of the virus was meant to kill him. It was the last thing he thought before the virus overloaded his CPU, and his brain shut down. (The equivilent to blacking out.)
X collapsed on the ground, and lay there motionless.

Dr. Light appeared the moment X walked up to the capsule. Motion sensors built into the top of the capsule triggered the AI program that was Dr. Light's legacy. The stout blue image of the man who once was appeared in a shaft of green light. The capsule reflected that light brilliantly, and the Doc had a smile on his face.
"X! So good to see you again. What I have here is nothing new. In fact, this is a replica of the armor I gave you before. Enter this capsule X, and receive the head module which belongs to your fourth armor. It retains the exact same qualities of the previous helmet upgrade, so you can use your special weapons as much as you like. So long...X!"
The image flickered, and for the briefest of flashes, it turned purple, then winked out. X stepped into the capsule.
A sudden data stream flowed into his consciousness. A swirl of falling energy cascaded down upon him. Then it hit him! A strong blast struck the top of the capsule. Energy from some unknown source activated the helmet upgrade, and it formed around his head. However, instead of the instantaneous snap, whith which the helmet usually appeared, the process seemed to be lagging. It took double the amount of time to load the helmet data into X's main CPU. It finished, and X saluted triumphantly. He stepped out of the Capsule. His thoughts took him back to the Last thing the Doc had said to him.
"So long....X!" What did he mean? Was he going away? Could that be a final message to him for the Doc? X didn't think so. And why did the helmet take so long to appear? Just as he was thinking about this, he turned back to look at the capsule. A stream of light came from the capsule, and suddenly an image appeared. It was a holographic image of X.
Mega Man X turned around, and looked at the image with wide eyes. "What the...?"
The helmet appeared on the holo image, but it was not colored the same blue as the image itself. It was an evil purple color. Then it looked like something inside the capsule over rode the program responsible for the images X saw. Sparks flew out of the holo projector, and smoke poured out of it. In a flash, the capsule fried out, and let off a few small explosions. It crumbled to the ground, blackened.
"What was that?" X asked himself out load. "It looked like Dr. Light was trying to tell me something....but what?"

Sigma: How is the infections progress?

M1: Sir its just finished now! all systems 100% infected..man this was a hard nut to crack...

S: Ah! excellent! Activate him now!

M1: Yes sir!

The small research maverick pressed a few buttons on the capsule and RX's head crystal flashed for a second to indicate that he was now active...

S: Ryujin X! stand up! and welcome to your new family!

RX:.........

S: Your mission, is to infiltrate Maverick hunters HQ by pretending you escaped, and be our inside man to help us bring the place down! you will also eventually help us capture the other 3 Hunters we need!

RX: Understood...commander Sigma...

S: Excellent! now be on your way! and do not fail me! or I will have your head!

RX: Very well......

And at that RX teleported out of the lab and appeared outside Maverick Hunters HQ...suddenly alarms went off all over the complex because an unidentified bot was outside HQ..the sirens interupted the launch of PX's shuttle as both he and Alia ran to see what was going on...Signas was also curious as to how someone got near HQ without him noticeing..so he tagged along as well....

Suddenly the HQ main doors opened as the 3 ran out, to see RX standing there surrounded by a security team...

RX: Hey guys...could you tell these guys to put their weapons away? I'd hate to have to kill them..

PX: What the!!!!??? RX!!???

RX: Yep..in the flesh..so to speak...

Alia: You know him!!??

PX: Yeah, he's a top class hunter who was recently captured by Sigma..he only joined a while ago...but..how did you escape?

S: Yes...I think we would all like to hear that...

RX: Its a long story...I'll explain it all when we get inside...

And at that they all went inside into a conferance room and RX fabricated a story of how he escaped...

Blade Runner had an explosion happen around him..when the smoke cleared there was a 9 foot tall reploid standing where BR was he had mane of black hair all around him..and his armor was red...

BR:like the new me? cuz thsi is the form that will bring your doom...

Wild blood:...

Blade Runnner dashed at the big maverick at full speed he looked like a small meteor and he rammed right through Wild blod putting a hole in the big maverick..blade Runner stopped behind him...

BR:now look at the big tough old leader now..your just scap metel now...goodbye...

BladeRunner raised his hand to blow him to pieces but...

Wild Blood:I don't think so...

Wild Blood held out his hand and a big white flash blinding BadeRunner..when the flash stopped Wild Blood was gone...

BladeRunner:..Damn..

Blade Runner senced a huge energy not to far away...

BR:X!

Alia came to the docks on the minute. PX, on the other hand, had been there for nearly an hour. Tapping his fingers on the sabre, he watched her enter the dock, and he smiled. He didn't mean to hurt her, but he didn't pick up on what was wrong.

"Alia!" He rushed across the dock. She didn't even look at him as he made it in stride with her. "Alia...come'on. We're gonna be together for a month. You can't give me this silent treatment for that long..."

She stop, and gared at him, still a little hurt. "Maybe in a week or so, if you decide to quit being so STUCK UP!" She walked over to meet Signas, and PX just...stood there. He wandered to see Signas as well.

I hope this helps guys. I couldn't focus on any one scene because I have been away for so long, and needed to play catch-up. If I get some more time tommorow, I will finish the two scenes with X, and Zero. These will each put a new twist on the RPG. Also, I have the story of Metal Scorpion, and Homing Hawk back on Earth! Meanwhile, on Mars, Zero and Saber Wolf had gotten the chance they needed. In fact, things had worked out better than they expected them too. The yellow Reploid who greeted them when they first arrived had known a great deal as to how they could obtain the necessary things they would need to get inside Sigma's mines. Bolt was his name. In fact, they had even talked the young Reploid into piloting thier ship over to a landing pad not even ten minutes away from the mountain. The new shift of miners went in every six hours, and had to go in using Mech suits. The prussure, and heat inside the caves was so intense, only Ride armor was strong enough to take it. The two worked thier way in, trudging along in line. TheWork-boss led the way into the mine, giving orders to each Reploid as he passed by.
"You, Zeon!", he called out. Zero almost didn't look, but remembered that he was using a cover name. "Yes?", he answered. Take Bolt, and go down that shaft. Wolf Man, you come with me. He said to Saber Wolf." Wolf, and Zero locked eyes, but obeyed. Wolf smirked, as Zero turned away. "What should we do now?" Bolt asked Zero.
"What do you think we do? We mine rocks!", Zero answered.
"What? Are you serious?", Bolt asked.
"No...of course not. Help me find a way to the upper levels."
Wolf was not so fortunate to be left alone. The Work-boss showed him how its done.
"See, pay attention. First, power up the fist weapon here like this. Then, when it raches charge, let 'er go! You slice open th rocks faster. Also, use the regular hits to break open loose rocks."Wolf had been at it for about five minutes when he'd totally lost his patience. He walked up behind the Work-boss, and charged up the Ride-Armor's fist weapon. "Hey Boss....consider this my resignation!"
"What?" The Maverick turned around, Shocked by the statement, but also curious to know what it meant. He got his answer! Saber Wolf's Mech came crashing into him, and his Mech exploded. The rest of the mining crew ran over in thier Mechs to see what had happened, but Wolf was already gone. Zero, and Bolt had found an entrance, and were already on thier way up. Typhoon Tiger was closer than ever! (to be continued)

Huge Mavericks had emerged from under the water, and out of the murky swamp. Arm cannons began blazing, and Mega Man X quickly reallized that He, and Blade runner had been seperated. He fought his way through a swarm of Metal Stingers. (Bees with an attitude!) Alot of structures provided cover from the attackers, but in a negative way, they also blocked X's view of Blade Runner. X heard a shout, and then saw a bright explosion. He didn't know who had just bought it, and hoped it wasn't BR. He couldn't get there though, because the enemies were too thick. They shot at him, and swooped at him, and drove him further toward the underground entrance. Then X remembered. He had a weapon with him! One he had not used yet. One from Gas Elk, which Wolf had given him. X knew that weapon energy changed as it went from carrier to carrier, but X hadn't tried his weapon out yet. The weapon changed his colors to A royal blue, and metallic gray. The data read out told him the weapon was called "Vapor Flare." He fired the weapon! A puff of gas expanded outward, then a deafening thud rang out as a hard projectile shot out. The thick bullet pierced the Mavericks armor, and left a small dent in it. Two seconds later, the shell blew, literally in a wide, circular flare. Everything within the flare's range had discintegrated. The Mavericks legs fell into the swamp water, all that was left of him. What a powerful weapon! X was driven further into the cave, however. Mavericks started chasing him, and finally, another swarm of Metal Stingers swooped at him. He fell over a ledge, and tumbled down a steep incline. When he came to a stop at the bottom of the pit, he couldn't believe his eyes. It was one of Dr. Light's Capsules! (here's my idea of the briefing. Sorry if it is inconsistent. I hope it isn't though.)
"Stick Anteater.", Signas said. A holo-image of the Reploid appeared. He has a long snout, a stupid name, and a weak weapon. As seen here in these surveilance photos, his attacks are primarilly all at close range. His weapon of choice is the "Striking Stick." He uses this weapon in much the same style of a quarter staff, but can also weild it like a sword, and can also use it for defense. He is exceptional with the weapon, but the damage done from each hit is only minimal. . His real strength comes from his body crush attack. He can also syphon off some of your energy with his shout if you get too close, but for a long range fighter like you Protoman X, he shouldn't be a problem.
"That's fine.",PX nodded. Of course, the trip will take a long time. Even with our current technology, you will spend almost a whole month in space flight...JUST to get there! This will give you two time to train, and maybe even get to know one another better.", Signas offered with a gesture.
"Hey! What is that supposed to mean?", PX gasped defensively. Alia looked at him strangely. PX though (No! Why did I say it like that! Stupid, stupid!)
"What's the matter? Are you okay?", she asked. Signas got a whiff of an uneasiness flowing from him. Protoman X just shrugged, and tried to pass it off as nothing.
"Nevermind. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Anyway....you were saying."
"Well. Okay, yeah...I was saying that He is stationed in orbit around Pluto. Sigma has parked a battle cruiser there called the "Frozen Rage.", It was named for a henchman of Dr. Dopplers, Blizzard Buffalo. We've been calling it 'Rage' for short."
"How will we get aboard Sir?", Alia asked.
"That is something Douglas and I have been thinking about. Saber Wolf tricked the comm officer to believe that he was expected by Sigma, and he was able to land on the Battle station around Venus, but you won't get that chance. Instead, we've decided on a more daring entrance."
"Meaning what, exactly?", PX asked with a knowing look. Anytime someone begins to rephrase something like that, it usually means trouble.
"Well, when you get up in space, you'll rendezvous with one of our representatives on the Eurasia Colony. From there, you will be transferred to a specially designed ship called "Blockade Runner IV. Once aborad the ship, you set a straight course for Pluto."
"That still doesn't answer my question sir." Alia chimed in.
"Alright. I was going to tell you later, but I might as well now. The Blockade Runner IV will ram right in the space cruiser, and create an entrance!"
"What"? Are you crazy? That will get us killed!", PX stood up, with his fist in a rage.
No, it won't! If you hit the craft dead on, the specially designed front end of the craft will puncture the hull, and seal over the rupture as soon as it is inside. Then, it opens up, and you both drop out, and go to work!"
"But how will we get home?", Alia asked.
"Here's how! The reason the craft goes so slow is because the back half is a mini-shuttle. It can only fit you two exactly, and even so it is a snug cabin. This craft will speed you away, and then triggers a detonator for the remaining blockade runner ship. The mini-shuttle travels at a faster speed, so you'll be home in half the time it took to get there, but still...that is almost a whole two weeks."
"Why couldn't we just take one of those out there in the first place?", PX asked.
"We thought about that, but... Hmm. You know what? Don't worry about it for now. If we come up with a better way, we will notify you as soon as you are on Eurasia. Till then, you're both dismissed. Meet in the launching bay in one hour." (to be continued)

Proto and Alia walked the halls alone. She was giving him a tour of the base. He had gone back to his quarters after the meeting, removed his outer armor, and put on a uniformish outfit.

( Remember, he was built to be like a human. He can wear clothes, but it's a pain to get over those huge boots...heheh )

"So, Alia...Why do you want to go on this mission? I mean, if there's any risk of you getting hurt or killed, I'd prefer to go alone..."

"I told Signas I wanted to get out of here. Even if it was a mission, I just wanted to get out. I can look after myself."

Proto nodded. /She's a sweet girl, yes, but I dont want her getting injured on -my- mission. That wouldn't look good, and it wouldn't look good on my record/

"What are you thinking about in that Reploid head of yours?"

"You..." /WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?! Idiot.../

"M-Me?" She stopped, and gazed at him. He shrugged.

"Yeah...You're on my mind alright?" He nodded, and stopped, looking at her. "I'm looking out for you. I don't care if you go or not, but I don't need your death on my record..."

She looked happy when he said it origionally, now she looked like she was going to cry. "I-I can't believe you're...so...so harsh!" She ran back down the hallway, him standing there looking like he was...shocked.

Shrugging, he returned to his quarters, getting out of the outfit, and putting his armor back on. Clasping the beam saber, he clipped it on it's recharge rack on his side, and smirked, looking at his glistening armor in the mirror.

Blade Runner,
If we all decide to do this...and if your friend doesn't mind, I think it would be cool, but I have characters of my own, and I happen to have a college degree in Graphics myself. I don't know a sticks worth of coding, and couldn't make a game...but I have made some sprites!
If you like, I will send them to you as an e-mail attatchment. I'll also send them to you Protoman X, if you like. Ryujin already got to see them, but I don't know if he liked them or not. I created some sprites for my characters
Saber Wolf, Metal Scorpion, and Wave Tortise. I have 5 more Maverick type characters, and the sprites to go with them, but I'd have to convert them to jpegs to send them to you.
If you guys are interested in seeing my sprites, I'd love to send them! (BR:) your friend could also use them if he were to make something out of it. Of course, I'd have alot to say about how my characters looked, behaved, etc... but within reason. Anyway.... let's get back to the story?!

Homing Hawk looked out over the courtyard where he had made his new home. The junk yard had been fortified with so much security devices, it looked less like a junkyard, and more like a military strong hold. Hawk folded his arms around his back, and paced along the grand balcony of the fortress. Such despicable conditions here, he thought. The "Maverick's Fury", from where he dwelled, was clean, bright, and in top condition.
It was a reminder to him that this was actually SUPPOSED to be a junkyard, and not just squallid conditions. Then the thought occured to him. He didn't know anything about running a business, he only knew about running an army. The junk yard hadn't done business in the few short weeks the Mavericks had been there, and profits ceased flowing in. Metal Scorpion, now fully repaired, pushed his way in past the Maverick grunts gaurding the entrance to the balcony.
"Hawk!", he called, "I need a word with you! NOW!" Homing Hawk turned around, fully surprised to see the Scorpion in good health, and even shocked at his audacity.
"What? How did you get up here? You can't order me around like-"
"SAVE IT!", Scorpion waved him off. "We haven't sold a single thing in three weeks! Are you trying to bankrupt me? This isn't just some free standing, self sufficient military base, or even one of your hi-tech space cruisers! This is a place of business. MY business, and I'm not about to watch it go down the toilet!"
"What? No one cares about your stupid junk! You think anyone wants to buy your old trash?", Hawk scoffed. Scorpions eyes glowed, "You really are stupid aren't you? Oh, I get your type! Probably just some lousy arm-chair general. All polished, and precise! Wouldn't want to get a scratch on your precious, gleaming armor now would we?"
Hawk glared at him with cold eyes. "Insolent bug! I could crush you right where you stood!" Scorpion laughed, "Why don't you try me Polly? I could always use another feather duster!" Scorpion would have smiled, but a face plate was all he had for looks.
"Let me tell you how it really is! Out here, we sell junk. The people who buy this junk use it to repair things. They give us the money, and we pay our bills. That is how we stay in business. Also, where would a business be without supplies? Sometimes people come here to sell us junk, that makes them a pile of cash to use for whatever they need it for. Then, we get to sell the junk to someone else at a higher price! See, even a morron like you can figure it out." Scorpion said this to him as if he were a child. Hawk was growing angry, and would have challenged him, but had vowed to obey Sigma's strict rule.
You must not engage in combat with anyone unless the security has been breached. If the cover was blown, then he could fight, but until then, he had to remain low key. Any explosions would have brought the attention of the media here. As it was, he had to turn them away when Ryujin had left here. After Scorpion was beaten up, the media came here in droves. That was just after Hawk and his Mavs had arrived. It would not do to have the press all in a frenzy over MORE explosions coming from the same area. No, it would not do at all. Hawk calmed himself, and prepared to listen.
"Alright, what do you propose?", he asked.
"You guys need to crash here, cuz yer boss ordered it. Fine....put me back in charge of my own place, and let me run my business. Anyone asks, and I tell 'em you're my new security. All my customers knew I took a beating anyway, so they'll think I'm either paranoid, or just being cautious. You do your thing, but don't interfere with my business. "Listen...you'd hafta be the first insecure Maverick I've ever met! A real Maverick would see this as shrewd. You on the other hand are quaking in your bird cage! All hopped up on trying to keep a low profile. Too bad, cuz what you've really done is bring more attention to this place!"
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, someone wanna buy this morron a clue?", Scorpion said to no one..."Look, a place closes down for 3 weeks, I get the stuffin's kicked outta me, and you don't think it will attract the slightest bit of attention? What do they teach you at your Mavrick base, how to be an idiot, ...or just look like one!"
"Listen, I'll have no more of this mocking! Sigma would have destroyed you for that! If you want to run the place fine! Just tell me what you want me to do, and I'll do it. But I warn you! Cross me, and they won't be able to repair you next time!"

X and BR were walking down the swampy area when they came to a clearing

X:I'm sencing a signal here but it seems like its stonger...

BR:hmmm......X! Whatch out!!

BR knocked X down to the ground because two plasma blasts came whizzing over their heads.

X:where'd those come from?

just then several big mavricks jumped out from behind a bush

Mavrick:Surrender your wepons both of yo-

he was cut off from Blade Runners laser blade..the mavrick fell down pouring out what looked to be a scarlet colored fluid

BR:any one else want to get in my way?

The mavricks started to back off but one of them hit a button on his wrist and 10 mavricks teleported next to them...

Mav leader:yes..I do kill the the one with the saber leave X to me.....

BR:I'll take the small ones you have the big one? or the other way around?

X:whichever is fine with me

he said that while blasting one of the smaller mavericks blowing him to smitherings.

BR:alright..

RX was now in a capsule unconsious in Sigma's hidden base..

S: Well? how is the progress on the new Sigma virus? has it fully taken over his systems yet?

Mav1: Sir..we have a slight problem...

S: what is it!!??

M1: Well sir, this particular reploid is fitted with so many self defence mechanism's that if we make 1 wrong move in the infection process it could short out the entire main computer by triggering one of his defence systems..we have to be very careful..

S: Look! I dont care if you have to short out 100 computers! I want this reploid infected now! or I'll have your head!

Vile: Patience my lord..all in good time..there is no point in getting stressed over this one reploid, we should leave this to the tech boys and concentrate on capturing the other candidates...

S: Yes...you are right Vile, assemble the capture team imediately and locate and capture them!

V: Very well, sir

S: Humph, Ryujin X! by the end of this you will be working for me, and I will use you..and your little friends to help me finnaly destroy X and the Maverick hunters once and for all! Mwahahahahahahaha!

BR and X were had just enetered the area

Then he was launched up in the sky.. then he heard a mischevious laugh that sounded very familiar...then it started to get fainter and fainter....

"Is everything okay Commander X?", Bladerunner asked.
"Huh? Yes. I'm fine. I just didn't think we'd get here so quickly.", X replied. The two stood outside Tounge Frog's layer. The entrance was no longer gaurded. Essentially, the base looked like a space ship had slammed into a swamp. Oddly angled structures jutted out of murky water, and were laiden with moss, and grime.
"I don't think this was the entrance He used.", X remarked.
"HE? Who do you mean?", BR asked.
"I'm not sure, but Signas provided me with some information. Aparantly a powerful Reploid broke in here, and destroyed him. You ARE sure it wasn't you right?", Mega Man X asked.
Blade Runner shook his head. "I think I'd remember something like that, but even so... something around here seems to be disorienting me. I can't really remember very much about the past few minutes."
"That is strange. We should be careful then." ,X cautioned him. BR gestured with his hand, "Lead the way inside Commander."

...Meanwhile, back at the Junkyard...

"Sir, Now would be a very good time to strike at the Maverick Hunter's base.", Mav 1 noted.
Mav 2 shook his head, "I don't think so. Sigma told us to wait here, so we should. Besides, what about that Scorpion guy?"
Homing Hawk put his hand up. "Now listen, both of you. The Scorpion has promised his allegiance to us. We have nothing to fear from him anymore. And we were not told to strike the Hunter's base. We were told to wait right here, and watch out for more candidates."
Mav 1: "I still don't think its fair, having to babysit this place. What does Sigma need it for anyway? It is just a bunch of Junk!"
Mav 2 put in: "This place smells. I'd like to be out of here, and back on the Maverick's Fury!"
"Hmm? Sigma's vessle? Yes...a magnificent creation..that. I was there myself once, it took him almost a whole year to build it." Hawk mentioned.
"Boss, what is Sigma going to do with Ryujin X?", Mav 1 asked. Hawk shook his head. "I don't know, but he's keeping him on ice for now."

...also happening, on Mars...
"Zero, are you sure this is the only way?", Saber Wolf asked. Zero nodded, "Yes. I'm sure of it. This is the fastest way into Olympus Mons."
"But sneaking as part of Sigma's mining crew? I mean, won't they recognize you?" Zero shook his head. "No way! Remember, I'm going to wear a disguise. And you are going to have to change your armor color. Dirty it up a bit, you look to clean to be a miner. Maybe gash it up a bit!"
"Zero...this isn't like the clothing people wear...this is my body! I can't damage my hull plating! Not even if I wanted to, I got it specially made for low gravity/ high impact combat."
"Well think of something then! We can't just go in there looking like ouselves.", Zero argued.
"Okay, I'll think about it. But tell me, once we get the Ride Armor, and get inside, what do we do next?"
Zero answered, "I think I know a way... I can't say anything until I check a few things out."
"But how could you...?", Wolf started, but Zero cut him off.
"Nevermind that now, it is time to go!"

Swift was walking toward the mission room looking for the reploid Signas...

*Swift's thoughts*:I want to trust MegaMan X but I was too trusty when my creator died...I will not trust ne body until they prove their worht because I cannot take that chance of having some 1 killed that I care about.....

Swift finally came to the mission room. he looked around for signas he knew what he look like X showed Swift a picture of him. But when he saw no Signas he stopped a running reploid

Swift:where is Signas?

Reploid #1:I dunno last time I saw him he was barking orders at me

Reploid #2:I know where he is..

Swift:where?

Reploid #2:he's in the mission debreifing room but he is busey right if you'll wait right here he'll come out eventually...

Proto sat down at the briefing table, as Signas picked up a pointer. Alia locked eyes with Proto for a moment, smiled, then glanced to Signas. The lights dimmed, and Proto's eyes fell from off the woman, and onto Signas as well.

Clicking a button, Signas began. A hologram of Pluto appeared to hover over the table. "This, is Pluto. Your destination..."

Proto's eyes kept falling from Signas, and back on to Alia. /What the hell is wrong with me?/ he kept asking himself. Finally, his eyes refocused, on Signas.

"Our sources indiacte Stick Anteater is located here." He pointed to a glowing red circle. Proto remembered hearing something about Stick Anteater from Supra. He was supposed to be rather powerful.

"Proto...are you paying attention?" Signas had stopped, and when Proto came back to reality, Signas, Douglas, and Alia were staring at him.

"Sorry sir. My memory banks were clicking in other files that could help me on this mission. I don't have much on it..."

"Perhaps you should listen, then..." Douglas said, smirking. Proto glared at him for a moment, then smiled, chuckling. He glanced back to Signas, and leaned back in the chair. "Sorry, Sir! Continue..."

"Thank you..." Signas said. Alia looked to Proto, and whispered 'If you need anything later...see me. I'll give you, a tour, or something...'

Proto-X and Signas:

"Who are you?", Protoman X cautiously asked. This Reploid was tall, and very majestic looking. He had a commanding presence, one which demonstrated authority, and demanded respect. He smiled slightly, "I am Signas. You must be Protoman X?" Signas half told, half asked him. Protoman X tilted his head sideways, as if curious to know how Signas knew of him. He walked forward as Signas came to him with a hand extended. The two shook hands, a gentleman's geture; one of peace, and trust. Signas extended an arm outward toward Douglas, and Alia to introduce them. As he did so, he pivoted on his heels, and folded his arms around his back, as if in a thinking gesture. His movements were fluid, and graceful. In mid motion, he remarked, "These are my assistants, Douglas, and Alia respectively." The two of the said hello, and Protoman X returned it with a small head nod, and wave of his hand. "How did you know me?", he asked.
"Oh, X told us about you before he left. Interesting thing, him leaving like that.", Signas returned. Protoman X agreed, "Yeah. Where did he go?", he asked. Actually, PX wasn't really sure if he remembered X leaving at all, but decided to just go with it.
"Well, "Signas began, "Normally in this type of mission, X returns to the field after the battle has ended. He likes to scour the lair of his fallen foe to see if there was anything he left behind. He is quite remarkable you know. His ability to be constantly upgraded is his greates asset." Protoman X nodded, and agreed.
"But...", Signas hesitated, "we should not worry. X is quite capable, and he has brought someone with him. That way, he can teach, as well as do an item search."
Signas continued, "I sense however, that this is not what you came here to ask about?"
Proto gave him a grim look. "Listen, Signas...I...."
"We were watching you closely Protoman X. We were not able to do anything to help you at the moment. But we saw what happened. Listen, Ryujin's disappearance could not have been your fault!" The words stung him, shocked him, and uplifted him all in the same moment. Once again, Signas's uncanny ability to be well informed staggered him. How he knew such a thing was at least merit enough to suggest his leadership qualities, if that was the task he was assigned for. PX groaned, "Listen, I did what I could out there, but there were just too many of them."
"There's no need to explain. But I feel I must tell you other things....important things."
"Alright, I'm listening.", X nodded.
"Alot has happened since X and Zero used to go out freelancing, and bust up Sigma's goons. We've organized, we've grown, but we're still in need of maturing. The past few months have been rough on every one, but transition isn't always easy."
"What are you talking about?", PX replied
"I'll explain. You see Protoman X, after the tragic fall of the Repliforce, Cain labs, specifically Dr. Cain himself chose to leave the spotlight.. X and Zero used to look to him for guidance, but he sought out retirement, and was especially embarrassed after the Sky Lagoon fell. There was not a whole lot he could have done to prevent it, and he did help tremendously in the clean up effort. Still, Repliforce was in need of guidance, and discipline. Our countries government was working in harmony with Cain Labs to create a structre for the Reploids. The Repliforce was supposed to be part of that structure. But, as with any rising power, Sigma felt threatened, and so he sought out the General. The General denied his request for an alliance, but Sigma used other methods. I was put in place here to see that no such methods are used against us. We don't want to lose any more Maverick Hunters to Sigma, or to the war. Still, even now, we are continuing to dwindle in numbers."
"How is that so?", Protoman X asked. I just joined, and I can think of about 5 other who've also joined."
"Yes, that is good, but you are not skilled yet. Your training will take a while to reach a level of effectiveness we can use. Just today, Bolt Kraken, one of our most seasoned members called it quits! And, it was right in the middle of a mission! It is an alarming chain of events. That is why we are moving swiftly to unite our brothers into a body of strength, and courage. X and Zero are at the forefront of this, but of course, they are out on assignment."
"That's where I'd like to go, if you don't mind.", Protoman X said as polite as possible. Signas was the new leader of the Maverick Hunters, and it wouldn't do good for Protoman X, just a rookie, to overstep his bounds. Signas smiled.
"I thought you might. You have a fighting spirit, I can see it in your eyes. Very well.
We usually don't like to send rookie Hunters out alone, but all of our staff is busy in combat training, or out on missions. I'd even send Douglas here with you, but Saber Wolf just gave us 3 Violen Class tanks, and he has to look them over."
"What about her?", Protoman X asked.
"Alia? Well, she IS quite capable. I don't see why not, but I guess that is up to her. Why don't you two discuss it after the briefing. Come, sit here, and I will discuss your mission to Pluto."
"Pluto? What's so special about Pluto?"
"Two words: Stick Anteater." (to be continued)

"RYUJIN!!!" He screamed as the Vile clones took Ryujin away. He was caught in a paralyze ball. He was then left, to die.

The clones to Ryujin to Sigma's fortress, and locked him in a tube, carbon freezing him. (There, we solve Ryujin's problem).

Proto, who finally frees himself, heads back to the Maverick HQ in shame. He couldn't save Ryujin, let alone himself. Entering the HQ, he found himself...alone.

"Hello?" He said, wandering the halls. No one answered. Usually a booming place, it seemed desolate, as if everyone was dead. He made his way to the control room, and opened the door.

A tall man that looked like Colonel was barking out orders. A young blonde woman was yelling into a microphone, and Doug, whom X had once before met, but Proto had not, was running around. Proto glanced around.

"Can I help you?" ( Send him on a mission, G-Man )

Zero's perspective:

Saber Wolf and I took the ship I borrowed, and set in orbit around Mars. Mars had been settled by Reploids, mostly because humans needed specially conditioned living quarters, or EVAC suits to walk on the surface. Reploids don't breathe per se, but we do take in air as a means of cooling our internal systems. Coolant is applied internally, but the air intake helps also to vent the heat from our systems. It also makes us look decidedly more human, and I think it helps real humans to accept us to some extent. We appear less mechanical to them. Though I've never understood humans much myself, I have come to be friends with quite a few of them. The most famous, being Doctor Cain.
The shuttle was cleared, and we were able to find a place to land in a small outpost. Mars has an independant military garrison stationed in various colonies. Now, even though Reploids don't need to breathe, I still get a funny feeling everytime I walk around where there's no breatheable atmosphere. The gravity also feels different on Mars. Wolf got a bit disoriented, but seemed to recover, and even get used to it after only a short while.
Mars was to the eye, about as exciting as watching Duracreet harden. A barren red, windswept, boulder strewn plain that stretched out for miles in every direction. We were no closer to finding Sigma's base here than we were when we left Earth, but at least we were making progress. Sources indicated that the Mavericks had bored a chunk out of Olympus Mons, the highest mountain peak on Mars, but that was on the other side of the planet from where we landed. Off in the immediate horizon, small bubble domed structures dotted the landscape. A Reploid driver emerged from a small hover car. He was wearing what looked to be a breath mask, but no other protection.
"Hi, names Bolt.", he said though the mask. He was about as tall as X was, and looked very much like him, were it not for the fact that he was all yellow. The atmosphere made a dull red glow on his face, and body. He handed us breath masks.
"Don't try to speak until you put these on. Reploids are usually used to breathing Earth's atmosphere. Mars has an entirely diferent atmosphere. Lots of dust here, and if you breathe it in, it could corrode or break down your insides."
We accepted the masks, and put them on. "My name is Ze- Uh....Zeon." I said. I was reminded of an experimental prototype chip that had just been invented. Very unstable, and very expensive. I thought the better of using my real name, since I was something of a famous war hero on Earth. Wolf had talked me into donning my black camoflage. Wolf stepped forward to greet him. "My name's Wolf. Cyber Wolf."
His idea of an alias came from an insult Bolt Kraken threw at him over the comm-link.
We both knew that our names were not so clever that they wouldn't attract attention, in fact, we hoped that we wouldn't be here any longer than we needed, but for now, the cover would do. Bolt took us to one of the domes so we could rest. As he drove his hover car over the barren landscape, he asked us why we came to Mars. I was about to make something up, but Wolf stepped up with a convenient cover story. One that hit close to home. "We are here looking for mining rights to a certain piece of property. I have a claim to dispute, and my business partner here has decided to investigat the property, and the claim. That woked well enough. The driver bought the story, and allowed us from saying anything further. This wasn't the usual type of mission I'd gone on. Undercover Ops seemed to be a thing of the past, that was...until Double showed up some time ago. We were using the Mavericks own strategy against them. Stealth, and cunning!
The plan was simple enough. We needed to gather information about Maverick activity before we could strike. Wolf actually had been able to get some cargo to make our trip to Mars legit, and we were able to sell it for cash that we could use to buy for transit, and information. As a Hunter, I'd never done much detective work, I usually left that for the Recon teams. We'd been on Mars for two whole days, and managed to find out more than enough information. Most of it came from paying off the right people. Humans, though there wern't alot of them here, were very eager to indulge us with information about the Mavericks doings. One such man told us of how he escaped a Maverick raid on his colony. We took a third day to gether this information, and compare it with our previous findings. Our mission window was a week on Mars, and we needed a whole day to make our trip to the mountain where the base was. We also needed to make a fast getaway from the base, once the thing went up in flames, but our only means of escape was the shuttle we had brought down, and it would be a day's journey away by even the fastest hover car! We had more details to work out, but soon, the time would come to strike! (to be continued)

Blade Runner is without a purpose? Perhaps I can give him one! I'll give you a direction okay?

While Ryujin, and PX fought with the evil Vile clones, Zero, and Saber Wolf had gone on a mission to fight Typhoon tiger on Mars. Metal Scorpion was still being repaired, after Ryujin thrashed him, and his HQ is still under the Maverick Homing Hawk's control. X had picked up a signal coming from the lair of the first of Sigma's Mavericks (in this current scheme,) to be defeated. That was Tounge Frog.
You'll remember that Sigma found, and corrupted a Dr. Light Capsule there...(or you might not remember, but trust me...he did!) Well, X decides to leave the HQ, and go check out this signal he is picking up. X doesn't know that SIgma has set a trap for him by infecting the armor upgrade with the Sigma Virus. This capsule contains a helmet upgrade for X, which in effect was a repeat of the helmet he got in X4.
Only, this time...when he puts the helmet on, the virus will download into his reploid brain, and he will be infected with the Sigma Virus. Such is Sigma's plan anyway. Again, neither X...NOR blade Runner are aware of any of this, but as he leaves, X calls Blade Runner to accompany him to Tounge Frog's abandonned lair. Take it away....

(Ryujin...we hope you get connected soon, till then...we'll miss you...you've been a great member of the Mega Man, and X RPG's.)

Zero piloted one of the Maverick Hunter's space mission shuttles. (like the X5 shuttle)Wolf tried to talk him into using the Saber's Edge, but Zero had figured that since he'd used it on his last mission, it may be recognized by Sigma's forces. So, they thought the better of it. They flew the shuttle into orbit, and docked at the "New Tokyo" colony in high Earth orbit. From there, Zero led Wolf to a meeting with one of his contacts, and accquired a deep space vessle. It was a large, blocky space freighter, and had been covered with Sigma's ensignia. A stolen Maverick freight hauler, perhaps, but it had been converted to carry an impressive weapons payload, and bigger, faster engines.
They wasted no time in boarding the ship, and launching into hyperspace. Thier ETA with Mars was one standard week, going at a safe level of speed, but if they pushed the new engines a little bit, the could possibly shave a day off thier travel time. Or so the connection had told them. And, so they tried. They spent the time preforming combat training excersices. Zero taugh Wolf some advanced Saber fighting techniques, and Wolf showed Zero a few of his own. Time would pass slowly, but the mission would need to go very fast. Who knew what sort of defences Sigma had in store for them? Typhoon Tiger was tough enough as it was. Well, they both knew that there was only one way to find out!

The saber Proto was holding shattered against Vile's armour. /How can that be?!/ Proto though, dodging a paralyze ball. The clone had trapped him against the wall, and was going to crush his skull...but a shockwave from Ryujin's move caused the clone to stumble, falling into the other. This gave Proto the oppertunity...

Proto dove into the first close, grabbing his chest, ignoring the charging buster on his shoulder. He slammed a fist into the Reploids head, cracking the glass visor. Over and over again, Proto beat the cracked glass, untill sparks exploded out of the helmet. Proto then used a move that Supra had made special for him...

"Velocity...CANNON!"

His hand began to glow as his buster pumped plasma into it. Slamming his hand into Vile's chestplate, it exploded through the Reploid armour. Proto pulled out handfulls of circuits, and the charging cannon on Vile fadded dim. Proto stood, and reared back...ready for round two...

(heh, relax proto I'm not gone yet, lol, but come next thursday I will be *sniff* and I must agree with proto..you could not kill a vile clone in one hit...and Sigma would not have the resourses to make 100 clones of Vile...he could make 4 at the most..and they would be clones of the original Vile not the newly enhanced Vile who is commaning the X-hunters...and please Blademan..you dont have to get involverd in EVERY single post you know...so could you please stay out of this fight for the time being? I originally only planned RX to fight them alone..and er..there wasn't supposed to be Vile clones..but anywho we've accepted that now...so heres my post..)

PX: Vile!!?

RX: What the!!!?? X killed you years ago!

Then 2 more viles walked over the horizon..

PX: Wha!!??

RX: How in the hell can there be 3 of him?

PX: Look, theres another!!? 4 Viles? whats happening?

RX: I dont know..but any bets that they are after us?

PX: hmm your probably right..

RX: Ok I'll take the 2 on the right and you can take the 2 on the left..ok go!

RX sprinted at the 2 Viles who both began fireing paralize balls (like the one he shoots at X in X1) RX quickly dodged them and then used one of his special moves..

RX: Shadowless Kick!

RX phased out, and began to appear then dissapear around the Viles with multiple kicks of dark energy, then when RX's move stopped 1 of the Viles grabbed his arms from behind as the other jumped at him with a flip-kick, RX quickly flipped one over his head who hit into the other knocking both to the ground, then the 2 hopped up and began to fight and move with perfect syconizeation, both kicking punching and moving exactly the same but from a different side at once, RX blocked and countered as did the Vile's, neither seemed to have the upper-hand excahnging blows, until 1 of the Vile's went to jump-kick him, when this happened RX grabed his leg in mid air and swung him into his parter, while still holing his leg, the knocked the other vile away for a brief moment, while RX now threw the other Vile into a tree, where RX used another one of his special moves

RX: Dragon Rage!!!

RX began punching wildly as his hands and body lit up with electricity, he was punching all over this vile so fast that his whiole body became a blur, then he suddenly unblured and hit the Vile with a final punch which knocked him right trough the tree, Vile began to stand up..but then it was as if the punches had caught up with him, as his body began to twitch and fall back as if he was being punched multiple times by an invisible force, he then fell to the ground...he slowly stood up with his armour cracked and broken and partially melted, as his body sparked from broken circuits and wires...RX aimed his buster and fired and Vile was blown to pieces...then out of no-where the other Vile popped up from behind him and fired a volley of shots from his shoulder cannon which RX ddodged, all except for the final one which grazed his shoulder, then Vile charged at RX, but RX enitiated another of his strongest moves...

RX: X strike!!!!!!!!!!

RX put his hands on the handles of both of his sheeted energy blades in his back and stood perfectly still focusing energy, then he swung his blades simultainiously into Vile leaving 2 energy trails which looked like an X..Vile stood perfectly still and then the sliced appeared on his body and he was blown backwards with an increadible force as his body slid in 2 and fell to pieces...

RX then looked over to Proto who was also doing well against the Viles...

(I did'nt want to control Proto in this fight as I felt the way I portrayed him may not have been what you had in mind so you can do the fight from Proto's perspective)

( I'm sorry man...but theres no way you could kill a Vile clone in one hit...he's almost an exact duplicate of Vile...only change, is the mental stability. The clones are not mentally stable...and Ryujin will hopefully be back sometime...so he can answer. I mean, he said he'd be leaving soon, but not immediately...right? )

Vile was walking towards RX and proto. but then a big white slash passed over Vile. he fell in pieces

RX:wait a second how could Vile be defeated that quickly?

at that second another Vile came over the hill then another
then another soon there were at least a hundred Viles

BR:they all must be clones

BR charged up his laser blade

BR:prepare for the worst

The first of Sigma's bots rushed them. Ryujin and Proto, back to back, were already waiting. Proto was counting softly, repeating a random string of number sequences...and Ryujin could hear him. They both became caught up in the numbers, and basically became one entity. They but jumped at once, slashed at one, and moved at once.

The first line of bots fell, and both Ryujin and Proto were not even tired. They were still back to back, and they touched once again. But, not they heard it...*Clack...Clack* of metallic feet. Over the hill...Proto saw it...VILE?! What the hell?!

-Meanwhile-

Sigma smiled evily. He knew that the reploids that he sent after would have fun fighting his Vile Clones ...

Mega Man had brought Swift into a private conference room.
Swift sat with his back facing the wall, so that he could keep an eye on Mega Man X. Even if the stories were true...
and X was a decent, and respectable person who valued life, or a being's existance, it would take alot for Swift to trust him.
"State your name for the record.", Mega Man X said dryly.
"Unit designation Swift, Model number eighteen twenty-one."
"What is your mission, or purpose?"
"My primary function is an assaination tool, but my main goal is to get revenge for my creator."
"What happened to your Creator?", X asked.
"He was dstroyed by Sigma. We'll leave it at that."
X nodded. Sigma had made his presence felt in many people's lives. Each and every one of them had enough reason to hate him.
"Why are you here Swift?", Mega Man X asked.
"What? Are you kidding?", Swift asked sarcastically.
"Alright....", Mega Man X sighed. "Listen, in order for us to give you some measure of trust, we are going to have to test you."
"In order for you to trust ME?", Swift asked, "Well, what are you going to do for me, so that I can trust YOU?"
X raised an eyebrow. He never thought about it like that.
"What would you like us to do?", X asked for lack of something better to say. Swift glared at him hard. His face showed a scowl of disconcern, and disapproval. He folded his arms, and pondered for just a moment on that. When he couldn't say anything in return, X replied, "Listen, First, we need to examine you to make sure that you are free from viruses. We'll need to check your weapon's also. Then, we'll need to test you at the training center. Finally, if everything comes out okay, We'll talk about giving you a mission. Sound reasonable to you?", X finished.
"Just don't get too interested in my past. And don't let anyone get in my way.", Swift said in a cold tone.
"You sound like Ryujin X.", X laughed. "Alright, follow me."
The doors opened, and the two left the room.

Bio:he was created by the United states army for an assasination on Dr. wily. Since Dr. Wily is now dead
his ppurpose is to destroy destroy sigman for destroying his creater

Sigma had left the capsule like that, and had left Tounge Frog's hideout altogether. He then sent out a distress signal which would be picked up by the Maverick Hunters. It was a faint signal, directed so that only X would pick it up. Sigma knew it was only a matter of time before X got the signal, and made for Tounge Frog's abandoned lair. Once he found the capsule, the trap was set! And, with his strike teams in place, he'd be sure that none of the newer Maverick Hunters would be able to come to X's aid. They'd be too busy fighting for thier lives to worry about him. The hard part was patience. Sigma would return to his enormous space battle cruiser, and wait. (to be continued...)

Suddenly, the capsule flickered to life. The pure, blue column in the center replaced itself with the image of a man. Dr. Light. The hologram spoke..
"Who are you?", it asked. The hologram added some light to the room, but it was not enough to penetrate the shadow which covered Sigma's face. He started to snicker to himself, as he walked forward. As he revealed himself, the face of the doctor became Agahst!
"You're.....Sigma!", the hologram said with a startled recognition.
"So, you've heard of me?", Sigma replied.
"I can feel your evil presence.", Dr. Light returned.
"You can. Really? How is that possible, when you are niether a man, nor a machine."
"What I am is no concern of yours. Listen, if you think you're going to be able to steal this armor upgrade, think again!"
"Oh, and why won't I?", Sigma huffed.
"I have scanned your various body structures from X's memory. Your body structure is based on an entierly different system than that of X's.", the doctor told him.
"Is that so?", Sigma mused. "What about Zero? Can he gain power from this also?"
"Hm? Zero? You mean X's friend, don't you? I don't know...I do not know his body structure. Sigma, leave this place. There is nothing for you here.", the Doctor replied.
"Very well, but before I go....hee hee hee hee.", Sigma started to laugh. Then he cried out with a grunt as he charged energy from within. "Take this as a token of my esteem! Gaahhhhhh!", He screamed as he threw the energy. It was a purple ball of energy, the Sigma virus in its most potent form. The energy consumed the capsule, and started to change the color of the hologram. Dr. Light, rather the AI program, fought with all its might to keep the virus from consuming it, but to no avail. Sparks flew from the capsule, and the image of Dr. Light was replaced with a purple hologram of Sigma...then, suddenly...the image transformed again. Dr. Light's body was replaced, but Sigma's head remained. After a few more minutes, the image returned to normal.
"What did you do to me?", Dr. Light's image asked.
"Nothing to you. But I infected the armor upgrade you have for X. This is a sleeper form of the Sigma virus. Also, in a few moments, this encounter will be erased from your memory. You will have no idea that I have set a trap for X. When he puts that helmet upgrade on, the virus will awaken, and infect his mind directly! There is nothing you can do to stop this either. Hee hee hee hee hee ha ha!" (to be continued...)

(Hey guys..I hate to break this to you but as of may 31st I will no longer be online for reasons beyond my power..when will I be back? I dont know..it could be 2 weeks it could be 2 months..it could even be longer..but in my next few posts I will have something happen to RX..I'm not sure what it is..but after I do it, please do not use my character...until I get back..but be sure not to forget about RX and mention him from time to time..)

RX and PX were now standing back to back with their energy sabers unleased and activated...

RX: Hmm...somethings comming....be on your gaurd...

PX: I got it

RX: Why did you come here anyway?

PX: I senced danger near by...so I came to help..

RX: I see...I'm grateful for the offer but I need no-ones help, I can handle myself...

PX: I'm not denying that...but what kind of a friend would I be if I let you face danger of this calibure alone?

RX: ..........here they come...get ready!

Both of them got into battle positions as the 4 mavericks were just on the horizon now...

(While I'm waiting for the info on Swift, here is something that should add to the chaos a little down the road...)

(Hidden Power: Part 1)
The cave had been there, the whole time, hidden under the lair of Tounge Frog. Sigma hadn't found it until he had returned. Tounge frog had been destroyed. He was weak. Sigma regretted ever giving him such power. Still, Mega Man X usually came on these missions. He did, as he always would. Sigma knew this to be true. He had once refered to it as thier "Eternal Struggle." Still, it was amazing to learn that so far X had only gone on one mission. Surprising still, was when Sigma learned that X had to abort that mission. Could his Mavericks really be so strong? Or was X just losing his touch? It must be the other, for This particular band of Mavericks did not seem to be as strong as in times past.
Flame Mammoth, Spark Mandrill, Storm Eagle...these were all once great warriors. This lot had thus far been beaten mostly by rookie hunters. Sigma then gathered his thoughts, as he made his way through the cavern. He found it sitting there in plain sight. A dim stream of light was cast upon the blue capsule that was hidden ever so carefully. Sigma walked over to the capsule, his eyes alert, his senses reeling. At last! The secret of Mega Man X's power! (to be continued...)

(I'll do the debriefing, but I need some more information about Swift. First of all, is he going on a mission, or being put under trial? Second of all, what does he look like? Can you describe him? Third, what are his personality traits. Maybe also, I could have a brief bio of him, so I can know his history. What is his main goal? If you tell me all of these things, It helps me to picture the character in my head. I can then make them as real as I want them to be.)

I just thought that I might once again post the names of the Mavericks we were using on the Capcom BBS.
(In case anyone forgot)


Mercury: Lava Beetle (dead)
Venus: Gas Elk (dead)
Earth: Tongue Frog (dead)
Mars: Typhoon Tiger
Jupiter: Crush Mantis
Saturn: Homing Hawk
Uranus: Cyber Sloth
Neptune: Vile! (in a new mech)
Pluto: Stick Anteater

Apparently, Vile has come to Earth from his base in Orbit around Neptune. Also, Homing Hawk has left his base in orbit around Saturn. That only leaves Crush Mantis, and Stick Anteater left at thier respective bases. Homing Hawk is scheduled to return after the Maverick Hunters are to be captured. (According to Sigma's Schedule.)
We also have Serges, Violen, and Agile...but they do not seem to occupy a base yet, and we don't have confirmation of where Sigma is even hiding! Lot's of loose ends to tie up, wouldn't you say? (If anyone wants to change one of the Maverick's Names..feel free to, just update the board with your suggestions, or name change...thanks! Keep those posts coming!)

Protman X and Ryujin X had had gone. Mega Man X, Zero, and Saber Wolf had remained in the Control Center. X saw to it that Wolf get a quick hint on counsel.
"Listen Wolf. I know you want to help, but you can't keep going after Ryujin X. Don't talk to him, don't get in his way either. He's very easilly upset, even by the smallest things."
"Why shouldn't I make him my business? He seems to enjoy making my business his!"
"What? What are you talking about? Explain this!"
"Hmph! Alright, if you insist. I had a meeting with a client of mine. He operates out of the old junkyard that Morph Moth Used to run. He was the person who said he'd give me the tanks."
"Tanks?", Zero asked.
"He said he'd GIVE them to you?", X asked.
"Yeah, tanks. 3 Violen class hover tanks. My connection, Metal Scorpion, made me a wager. He said if I came back alive, and victorius from my mission, he'd give me the tanks."
"What would have happened if you didn't come back?", Zero asked. Wolf shot him a quick look, like "...yeah, like I wouldn't come back!" but replied, "He'd have taken over my business. Of course, if I become a Maverick Hunter, I'll have to give my business over to someone else anyway."
"I think you're getting off the point Wolf. We were talking about Ryujin X." , Mega Man reminded him.
"Okay, well...RX threw a locator on me, and tailed me to my meeting. He then interrupted the meeting, and my colleague over reacted. They had a bit of a scuffle, but seemed to overcome it quickly. Then, they went for a supposed tour of the facilities, and Scorpion ended up throwing him in a trash compactor."
"But those compactors are older than Reploids! There's no way they'd have even worked!", Zero mentioned.
"Yes, that was the problem. Ryujin broke out of it, and nearly beat Scorpion to death. That was the last I heard from his technicians."
"You called over there?", X asked.
"Yes, and I also called my boys back at my base. They say the Tanks are fully functional, and all they need is to be tested. They are on thier way here in fact. They should be coming over those hills." Wolf said as he pointed at the map. "Hey, isn't that where Protoman X tracked Ryujin X to?"
"I think so.", X replied.
"Okay, well...my boy's are ridin' in 'em, but they'll turn them over to you once they get here. I was hoping to take my boys with me to Mars. If that's okay with you?", Wolf asked.
"I don't see why not. You preformed well with a support team last time.", Zero answered him.
"Listen, Zero. It doesn't look like the other two are coming back anytime soon. Why don't you and Zero go on the Mars Mission together. That way, I know that he'll be safe, and that you will be also. As far as his techs go, we'll leave them here. We may have questions about the tanks. You know, only Mavericks owned those tanks. We never got a look at the inside of them, so none of our technicians are familliar with them."
"Great, My boy's'll talk to you tech Douglas.", Wolf answered.
"Listen X, if the other two come back, send them on another mission. I think there is Maverick activity around Jupiter also. Just a thought...", Zero mentioned.
Just then, Douglas called. "Listen, I can't keep this shuttle on-line all day. If you're going to leave do it now, okay?"
Zero looked at Wolf. "Any last requests?", he half-joked.
"Let's go already!" Wolf said as he waved his hands.

Nothing had changed about the Junk Yard where Saber Wolf had met Metal Scorpion. Scorpion was laid out on a table. His tail had been disconnected, and hung on wall brackets. His body was undergoing a studious repair by his own technicians. Homing Hawk, Maverick Warrior, and Sigma's third in Command had come to this place to prepare it for half of Sigma's plan. Sigma had sent out a strike team that consisted of Vile, Serges, Agile, and Violen. They were to gather some of the new Maverick Hunters, and bring them to Sigma himself. If they did not wish to join him, he would infect them. If they resisted, he would destroy them. The first candidate seemed the most likely. Someone named Ryujin X was due to be captured. He would then be brought back here, and placed under heavy security...VERY heavy security, until a shuttle arrived. Once they had him, they would take him to the junk yard immediately. Homing Hawk saw to his end, by making sure the junk yard was secure. As for the problem of its owner, Metal Scorpion...well, that was another matter entierly. He would see to that later, but for now..he thought better to focus on the incoming prisoners.

Proto felt there was something wrong. He quickly tapped two buttons on the keypad, which located Ryujin. He stood, and rushed towards the door. "Where are you going?!" X yelled behind him, but Proto was already gone.

Sigma's forces were getting closer to Ryujin, and Proto made it there before them, snapping Ryujin out of his meditation. "What are you doing here?!" Ryujin shouted.

"Shh! Something is wrong...very, very wrong..." X pulled, and ignited his saber. He glanced around. Something was wrong.

Ryujin stood, and pulled out his saber. They stood back to back...as Sigma's attack force started on them.
