I'll post the fight soon, but RX, BR, WILY and SIGMA are all on the moon base which is where Wily's particle beam cannon is loacated. You may have already known this I'm not sure, but from that post it seemed like you thought we were all on Wily's Island, although I could be mistaken. Obviously Wily's Island can still be hit, but Wily won't know till he gets back to earth. Just thought I'd mention that..

Oh and BR, please don't interfere with the RX/SIGMA fight, I have it all very well planned out. If you want you can fight Wily, although I had an Idea that Wily could summon a team of reploids specifically designed for capturing a target and BR has his hands full with them so he can't help RX. Of course its just an Idea. Just tell me before hand is this ok for me to mention this in my fight post? or will you be doing something else? I'll wait till your reply before I post the fight incase I have to edit it.

Signas, Mega Man X, Zero, and every Hunter not on assignment filled the auditorium. Signas stood an elevated platform, behind a podium. "Fellow Hunters, I have caled this emergency meeting to discuss certain events. As you are all well aware, Mega Man X, and Zero have recently returned from a hostile conflict on Dr. Doppler's Island City: New Doppler Town. You can see it here on the map. Well, we've been keeping steady surveillance on his island for some time. Moments ago, our recon team sent these images."
The large wall screen flickered, and showed a far away view of the island. They showed the incoming attack from the energy beam. "The attack came from as yet unkown forces.
Whomever attacked them must be considered as hostile, and a threat to humanity, and Reploids alike. Using our satellite data, we were able to obtain these images of Doppler's Island. There was not much left after the attack, but our scanners pick up on some subterrainian structures. This has lead us to believe that Doppler' Island is still very well fortified."
The images on screen changed.
"Now, we are not able to identify the party involved in the attack on Doppler, but we were able to obtain an exact fix on the source of the attack. It would seem that Doppler was not above retalliation. Or satellite network picked up this attack, only minutes ago."
The screen split into two images. One side flashed, as the salvo was launched from Doppler's Island. The other showed a n overhead view of the target. The Hunters watched as the island was turned into a wasteland.
"In fact, so intense was this attack that we estimate the ground has become unstable. These heat readings indicate some of the surface layers of dirt, and soil have been superheated. As you may be aware, whenever the ground gets that hot, it melts, and fuses into a glass-like substance.
We can declare, based on our survey that this island has been totally 'glassed', if you'll pardon the expression."
Mega Man X spoke up. "What do you want us to do Signas?"
"At this point, I'm not sure yet. We need to determine who the enemy is, and who we should protect. We are not equipped to fight a full scale conflagration with two enemy parties. For now, all we can do is wait, until our search teams have brought back enough data. Only then do we move!"

Bit stood at command in the situation room. Byte had gone to talk to Doppler at the comm terminal. Bit began to give orders to the Reploid technicians manning the consoles.
"Tracking the source, and vector of the beam sir."
"Did you find the location?"
"Yes sir, map point 3071 by 214."
"Ready the MPAs. I want a salvo of three second burts to hit the target. Load surface to surface concussion missle bays
A through M, and ready the Enigma."
The MPA, or Magnetic Particle Accelerator was a less powerful version of the Enigma. Still, it was able to fire multiple rounds in quick succession. It was a prize weapon given to Doppler by Crescent Grizzly.

Meanwhile, at Wily's base:
Dr. Wily was busy dealing with RX, and BR when suddenly...
Fourty-five out of the 50 MPAs fired in rapid flare. Each gun weapon shot off three medium sized projectiles. The surface to surface concussion missle bays opened, swung out, and fired two long range Tantive-Mach IV concussion missles.
In ten seconds, Wily's Island would melt like a grilled cheese sandwhich! 9-8-7-6-5-4-3...
One of Wily's security bots called into Wily's personal comm. "Sir we have a crisis!", he blared.
Wily seethed, "DO NOT BOTHER ME NOW! JUST DEAL WITH IT!"
"Sir, we're under...." the picture went static. The line went dead, and Wily's entire island base shook like a massive quake. Red plasma balls with white-hot cores descended from the sky, raining death upon Willy's island. Concussion missles stuck targets with precision accuracy. When the first salvo was over, Wily's Island had been shaved clean of all vegetation. There were massive craters in the ground, and severe damage to the underground structures."
"Sir,", the tech said to Bit, "We've made a direct hit sir."
"Damgage to target?"
"We estimate 98 percent of all vegetation destroyed. Fourty-six percent damage to subterrainian structure. All surface buildings destroyed."
"Good. Charge up the Enigma, and hit them full blast. I want our troops in position on his border by 0600. Copy that?"
"Yes sir. Don't worry, he won't escape us!"

Dr. Doppler awoke from his sleeping pod. Attatched to his head were the motor controls for the Doppler clone. From there, he could see, and hear just what the clone was experiencing. It gave him a satisfactory feeling seeing the look on Wily's faces. Of course, he knew that it would not come without retribution. The moment he stepped out of the pod, that retribution came. There was a violent shaking, and all the lights dimmed. Then, there was a loud rushing noise, and the sounds of multiple explosions. Many of the circuits in the room overloaded. A few minutes later, the back up generators kicked in. He got a priority one message from his situation room.
"Hey Doc, this is Byte here. Wily's fired his beam cannon, just like he said he would!"
"What is the damage to the island?"
"Eighty-six percent structural damage. Fourteen percent of structures remain in tact. The beam overloaded the energy shield. We're lucky it held for as long as it did."
"Where did the beam make impact?"
"Mostly on the eastern coast of the island, but it had a wide radius. Unfortunately, Doppler Tower was hit pretty bad. Most of the warehouses, and all of the seaport were destroyed."
"What about the evacuation? Did we get everything out in time?"
"Well sir, it looks like we did. I'm getting the final estimates now sir."
"Was the power plant hit?"
"No. If it was, there'd be little left of the island."
"I want you to power down the plant as soon as you can!"
"Right sir. Oh, wait...What about the specialists? Are we still going to execute our prime objective?"
"Okay Byte, here's what I want you to do. Call the speciallists, and have them meet in the bunker in B-45.
Gather all troops to sector three, and set up an air screen, a mosquito couldn't get through. Pattern: Tango-Alpha-Zebra. We're going to execute our back-up plan!"

Wily was seething with fury when he saw his pet had failed. "Dopplar that was the last mistake you ahve ever made in your life.", Wily turned on the comm to castendo and said "You are no used to me anymore castendo may you burn with your ship." Castendo went into a fury "Wily! you traitor I trusted you!" Wily laughed "You think I would have paid a human, and even more let them livE" Wily ripped into a laughter and shut off the comm.With that Wily pressed fire button for the particle beam and the cannons flared to life a blueish beam shot out of the cannon heading straight to earth hitting it's designated target. Wily look on the screen seeing his destruction the screen showed "Dopplar Island damage sustained: 86% pecentage of dopplar island left: 14%" Wily chuckled with glee when he saw most of the island destroyed. Then he looked to the ensuing battle between Sigma and RX. BR looked with concern and saw that RX wasn't faring to well. Then he turned to Wily seeing the happy look on his face sent BR into a mad fury, only a few things in the known world could make BR angry, but even fewer are those reasons to make him furious, because when BR became furious he was unstoppable, not even RX's full power could stop BR's fury. But he could keep it sustained and then Wily sencing power emittating from BR he grinned "Is poor Dr. Cannon angry?" said Wily mockingly. BR's eyes were in a world of red. Then Wily continued "I have heard that you awoken from your icy tomb and joined the maverick hunters. But I noticed you were alone with no family or friends at the time, hmmm I wonder where they went..." Wily starting to grin and BR starting to look sorrowful "I have heard when you went serching for them you found all of them dead and your lab destroyed. Hmmmmm I wonder how could that happen" Wily tapped his chin sarcastically. Then his face split into a grin. In those few seconds BR had gotten so furious he got a boost of power and his aura was pure red. The whole room exploded with a red energy shattering the glass and bending metal and destroying the doors "It was You!" BR said between gritted teeth his voice full of fury. BR Grabed his by his cloak and lifted him up, "You will pay for you evil deeds", Wily chuckled "My, my Dr. Cannon your getting a temper maybe you should SIT DOWN!" With that Wily used a force beam to push BR back but it only knocked off his balance a bit, but then BR Just leaped at him with saber a energy blasts, "You Will die Wily, and rot where you belong." Wily parried his attacks and then mentioned "You shouldn't be paying attention to me your friend wil be Dying! to see you.." BR looked at RX seeing that he wasn't doing so well he looked worried, but in that split second Wily blasted him back. BR hit the groung hard and Wily took his chance to flee. BR screamed at the top of his lungs "WILY!!!!!!!!" But then he realized he didn't have time.

(RX, thanks for posting again man! Just a reminder, keep it clean please! Thanks!)

While the real Wily was staring RX down, the Hydra-Wily, (Minus one head) had been fighting with Dr. Doppler. Vile had just taken out the Hydra's escape route, and the decided to bug out. SO it was up to Doppler, all alone, to destroy the threat. The 7 Wily heads wriggled, and danced. Doppler just stood there watching, waiting for it to strike.
"Don't expect to win fool! You will never leave here alive! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!", the Hydra taunted.
"I grow tired of this excersise. How long do I have to listen to you babble on? OH! I'm so powerful this, and You're going to die that. It is really pathetic Wily."
"You mock me? How dare you you insolent ---Gahhhhh!"
Doppler let off another blast from his hands. It caught one of the 7 heads, and melted the skin off. Half the face was black, but it still functioned. That head lost it's field of vision. The Wily-Hydra answered by spitting flames from three of it's heads. Doppler was quick to move back, and away. Then, the beast charged him, and caught him. Holding Doppler in a steel grip, the Hydra hissed, and seethed! All 7 heads glared at Doppler, laughing simultaneously.
"Now..you die!" "You die!" "You die!" "You die!" the different heads chanted. Doppler felt like he was being crushed to death, and the hydra wasn't even squeezing hard!
Despite the pain, Doppler cracked a smile.
"I knew you couldn't be trusted Wily..ungh!", he groaned as he was being squeezed. "That's why I planned this little meeting between us. I needed proof that you were a coward! You cannot face me one on one! Instead you sent your little toys to do it!"
"I have no time to deal with the likes of you!", the Hydra spat.
"Fine words from a coward. But it just so happens that I have a surprise for you!"
"Oh really? What is that?
"You didn't really think I was so stupid that I would just let you kill me did you?" Suddenly, a reocccurring ping noise began to sound. Doppler ripped his shirt in half, and there, square mounted to the center of his chest was a clock ticking down from 13 seconds. "What you've got here is a Reploid clone, strapped to a nuclear warhead. And, in about 8 seconds, you and I are gonna have ourselves an 80 megaton barbecue!"
The Wily Hydra screamed in shock, and disbelief! It tried to throw the Doppler clone, but there was no where to throw it. There was no way Wily's pet could get far enough away in the amount of time left over. The clock pinged down to three, two, one. Doppler blinked, and smiled. Then he said in an ever so friendly tone, "Have a nice day!"
The room was instantly flash cooked in a ball of expanding light. Doppler chose this area because it had been deserted for about a hundred miles in every direction. Good thing too, because the bomb left nothing to see!

RX had just entered the main control room of the moon base, only to be confronted by the presumed dead Sigma.

RX: Sigma???? alive?

S: Hehehehe, indeed I am, and now I am going to make you sorry your alive!

RX: How is this possible???!!!!

W: With a little help from me!! Mwhahaha!

RX: Wily!! So you and Sigma have joined forces!! Well I�ll kill two birds with one stone!

W: Unlikely, although my parters battle body is unfinished, it should be more than enough to take care of an upstart like you!!

Bladerunner was low on power and could barely move, he slowy pulled himself to his feet to see what was going on.

BR: RX be on your guard!

RX: BR? Are you ok?

BR: Yeah, I�m just a little low on power right now�

RX: Don�t worry, once I take care of these two we�ll get the hell outta here!

S: I would not be so sure of that Ryujin X!

RX: Sigma, I have a score to settle with you!!!

S: Oh yes that�s right, how did it feel to kill your friends?? Good? Hehehe, to slowly rip them apart and not be able to do anything about it?? You must have enjoyed it as much as me!! Mwahahahahaha!!!

RX closed his eyes and clenched his fists�

S: But then again that�s what you were designed to do isn�t it?? You want to kill, you like to kill!! And if your own friends, then so be it!!! All the better to kill someone you know, right!!?? And the look on someone�s face when they realise that its you who�s doing this and that they trusted you! Believe me that is a wonderous feeling, I know! But then again, now so do you!! Mwhahahahaha!

RX opened his eyes and screamed at the top of what his vocal processor could handle

RX: SIGMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bits of electricity and energy began to surge trough and around RX�s body

RX: Now�Sigma�I�m going to slowly rip YOU in half and you can tell me how it feels first hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!

S: Heh! Your no match for me! I am like a God to you, I cannot BE killed!!

RX: Looks like were going to have to test that theory you piece of shit!!!!!!!!!

RX and Sigma both dashed at each other ready to strike as Wily watched on with excitement and BR watched with concern�

(There we go, and the ball is rolling yet again. I�ll post the 1st part of the actual fight soon)

Vile had leapt out of the shuttle, and rocketed away into the clouds. He circled around for a few moments, then picked up a distress signal. This was funny. He laughed when he saw Doppler's distress call. He knew that it would spell the end for the fool Wily. Vile landed just outside the base. He targeted the shuttle Wily had used, and opened fire from his shoulder cannon. Six concussion missles were fired from his shoulder, and hit the ship in different places. The shielding was good, but not good enough. The cockpit had been blown out, the wings had been shorn off, and the tail snapped, and bent. Nope, Wily wouldn't be able to use that to escape! He called in to his own shuttle to circle overhead.
"Doppler, the bird is cooked, we're buggin out!"
Doppler had to make it look like he was being betrayed. Wily, sure enough had pulled something, and Doppler knew what to say. He tapped a few buttons on the keypad. A text encoded message appeared inside, on Vile's visor. it read [Good work. Execute operation: C-G0Z711-3455 ]
He cut the comm, then did his best acting job. "VILE! NO! Come back!"
"SSSSthhhh Heh heh heh heh!", the Wily hydra hissed, "So, the little insssubordinate wretch left you did he? Ssssso be it then Doppler. We're going to make your life a living hell! HA ha ha ha!" Doppler powered up his energy field.
Wily threw some plasma balls out of his mouths. They just hit Doppler's shield and made him stronger. "Wily, you cannot beat me! And you won't escape me this time!"
"You foool! It is you who will not escape! I'm still going to destroy your island! You are powerless to stop that, and you are powerless to stop me!"
"I'm not without resources! Take this!" Doppler withdrew his shield, and threw a beam from his hands. It was charged with the energy the Hydra had spit at him. Aiming at one of the heads, he hit it full blast. The psuedo-skin melted off, and the metal skull could be seen. The blast was powerful enough that the head exploded, and the neck slumped to the ground, exposing cables, and sparking. The Wily-Hydra screamed! "Gahhhhh! No!"
"One down, seven to go! Who's next?", Doppler taunted, as he charged up his shield again. (to be continued)

((good Idea G-man, readers should catch up on the old, the amazing, and the long posts for this RPG, I'm sorta booked but I take it Ryujin is busier than most of us, so as G-man said this BBS is in a dormant state and I will post the battle of wily and Dopplar next!))

The wily decoy hads finished it's transformation towering over the somewhat now small Dopplar. The eight headed hydra, or as wily had called it Hydroid, now stood over dopplar all eight heads thrashing and showing it's fangs at dopplar and ready to strike for the kill. Dopplar blinked at the now "Hydroid" Wily and swore, "Damn how did this get past security? and the check something must have been rigged,". Dopplar took the nearest shelter and dodged the heat blasts from the eight heads. Then dopplar pulled out his comm and dialed for Vile "Vile! this is dopplar do you read me," Dopplar heard no answer so he figured this must be a message. "Vile I am at the base and somehow wily had gotten past the wepons check I need backup Now!, send in the back up sqaud for distraction and get down here now! please reply and come I need help Wily decoy, and transformed, Help" after that dopplar then had to decide how he would dodge this thing and stay alive.

Meanwhile back at the moon base

Wily sitting there laughing like a madman watching dopplar running away like the coward he is, then wily tapped into Dopplars comm "Dopplar you fool even if you do get your traitor to come that still leaves me destroying your presious little island and your city, to dust, oh I forgot to mention one thing before you die a horrible death, The enigma particle beam, oh don't be surprised dopplar, I created it to duplicate the greatest particle beam on earth, but it was a failure, so just to let you know I created that hunk a junk and now I have it's predessesor the legendary X-28 particle beam, yes the same wepon that destoryed brazil," With that Wily shut down the comm laughing and watch the fool, Dopplar, struggle against Wily's superior power. In the back in the room BladeRunner was hovering there hoping RX would hurry up, and free him before Wily gets away....

To Our Readers:
During the summer, TV networks encourage viewers to watch previously run episodes of their programming while new episodes are being filmed. This type of behavior is classified, and phrased with a now common media buzz word.
The "Re-Run." As such, summer re-runs give us the chance to catch up on an episode we may have missed, or to re-visit a favorite episode. However, since this RPG exists in a BBS format, we encourage our readers to get in the spirit of Summer. Yes, why not look up the archives? This would be a good way for new readers to catch up on the story, while giving long time followers a chance to re-visit the greatest battles, and see the struggles each character has had to go through. It might just be the thing to do to cure the summer-time lull. Until the weather gets colder, and things slow down a bit...this BBS is going to be dormant for a while. So why not have some fun? Re-live the adventure, the drama, the excitement....All over again!

A gray shuttle had already been parked outside. It was small, slightly angular, and had an embossed "W" symbol on the side of it. Doppler's shuttle was bigger. It was also a blue-ish black, and armed to the teeth. The shuttle did not land, but merely did a touch and go. Doppler jumped the short distance to the ground, and landed in a crouch. With the bay doors still open, Doppler looked up to Vile, who was leaning over the edge. He gave him a signal, and the shuttle flew away. When it flew through the clouds, Doppler heard the familliar sound of a rocket engine kicking in, and familliar shape was seen flying through the clouds.
Doppler walked in past the security check point. No alarms sounded, which meant he was clean. He was unarmed.
There, inside the main chamber he saw a cloaked figure staring back at him.
"And so you came?", Doppler said in a commanding voice. "Who are you? What do you want with me?" ,he asked.
"I am Doctor Albert Wily.", A gruff, scratchy voice answered him. "And I want YOU Dr. Doppler!"
"What!? What did I ever do to you? I've never even seen you before!",Doppler came on the offensive.
Wily cackled with an evil laughter. "Maybe so. But you have had dealings with a certain creation of mine. And you have also dealt with somone who I recently made the acquaintance of!"
"What? Who are you talking about?"
"Ah! You will know it in time.", Wily laughed. "Now then, onto business."
"Yes.", Doppler started, "Why did you threaten to destroy my island base?"
"Why DID you believe that you had any power to negotiate with me?", Wily asked in return.
"Well, come on! It seems strange to me to have someone call me up out of no where and threaten to destroy me without even giving me a reason why!"

Wily cracked a smile. "Yes!", he laughed.
"You don't mean?! Sigma! How can he be alive? My servant destroyed him! I know he did!"
"You had your chance to join us Doppler! You had the chance to become part of the Reploid Utopia! You could have been given great power! You could have ruled along side of us! But you gave it all away! In his final moment, you came down and destroyed Sigma with an anti-virus program! For that, I will see to it that you burn! Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
"Wily!", Doppler yelled. Suddenly, the trap was sprung, and Doppler learned that there was more to Wily than what appeared. (Coming up next - eight heads are better than one!)

(I'm Baaack as G-man said warm weather up here and I have been everywhere on the planet and I finally get a break woo hoo!!)

Wily had taken Dopplar's word and came to the so called "demilitarized" zone but Wily wasn't stupid at all he had brought some protection well frankly made some protection, He had built a decoy he could control from his moon base so if dopplar had pulled any tricks on him the decoy had weapons installed on it if it was attacked it would turn into eight headed hydra that he had kept in storage from his Megaman era he never had the opprotunity to use his creation but now he had compacted it in the decoy Wily and when dopplar tried anything the bot would automatically morph and start attacking his attacker. The Decoy Wily waited there patiently for Dopplar when he heard Dopplar's shuttle arrived.

MEANWHILE

RX had defeated the spiders and was on his way to Wily's chamber. When he reached the chamber the door slammed behind him and he heard the all to familiar laugh... of Sigma!... (sorry Ryujin had to do something with Sigma)
"muwhahahahahahahahahaha RX! so nice of to see you again my MINION" Sigma laughed evilly and sboiled RX's hatred for him.
"Sigma I will get you back for what you made me do!" RX yelled and Sigma picked up his sythe and was ready to battle

Explanation:
This story is currently known as the "Mega Man X RPG." Our story currently takes place in the undisclosed time period between Mega Man X4 and 5. Set just before the events which led up to the fall of the space colony Eurasia, we will learn what led up to this catastrope.

Episode:
Dr. Doppler recently placed himself back in the public eye. This time, not as the leader of a Reploid utopia gone wrong, but as the host of a Reploid fighting tournament. The tournament proved to be a guise however, as he was only using it to generate the revenue for his hidden agenda. Now, with the tournament concluded, he has begun the first stage of his plan! With the help of the arms dealer Crescent Grizzly, he has obtained the famed "Enigma Particle Cannon!" Joined by 8 specialists in the top fields, Doppler now possesses an incredible army! But, one thing stands in his way of total domination. A mysterious scientist named Dr. Wily has threatened to destroy Doppler's Island with a weapon of his own. Meanwhile, back at the Maverick Hunter H.Q., all is not as it should be! Maverick Hunter Blade Runner, who had disguised himself as a fight contestant named Altaro, has been kidnapped by a ruthless pirate named Castendo! Ryujin X, another member of the Hunters set off in pursuit of him, only to discover that Castendo really works for the fiendish Dr. Wily. Can he rescue Blade Runner before it is too late? While Ryujin tries to track Wily down, Mega Man X and Zero, joined by IO a rookie Hunter, are discussing plans to mount an offensive against Doppler's army. While they plan, a newly resurrected Alia remains with her former collegue Gate to assist him in his work. What will all this mean? How will it all come to conclusion? By isolating the direct call signal that Dr. Wily was using, then running it through a series of systems. Doppler was able to find a number to call Wily anytime he wanted. Doppler had tools no one knew about. All he needed to do was triangulate the exact location, and he could send a strike team over there to blow Wily away. He was still working on this. But, as he had other things to do at present, it was being done by his researchers.
Doppler was locked away in the vault. He was overseeing the work on the Enigma. Crescent Grizzly was with him.
"Grizzly. I want to ask you a question.", Doppler called to him. Griz came over to his part of the vault. They were in the huge underground section. They were surrounded by cavernous room with high ceilings. It ran at least 4 stories into the ground. "Yeah Doppler?", Griz asked with disdain.
"I'm fairly certain that this Dr. Wily knows about my Enigma here. How would this happen? I gave you orders not to tell anyone. Did you disobey me?"
Grizzly looked over to Doppler, and grit his teeth. Vile had already given him that slash over his eye. He didn't want to think of what worse things they would do to him.
"You bought something as big as the Enigma, and you thought that you could keep it a secret? Who ever this Wily is, he must have connections in Neo-Tokyo."
"For the right amount of money, anyone can have connections in Neo-Tokyo.", Doppler retorted.
"Okay, you're right. So, what's your point?"
"My point is, who paid you to talk? And how much did they pay you? You work for the money, and not for the cause. I can tell you only care about profits."
"Look Doppler, I don't know what you're talking about."
Doppler snorted in disgust. "Be advised Grizzly. I do not take treachery lightly. If you are lying to me, you will wish you were dead!"
Grizzly started to protest, but Doppler dismissed him. Security came in to move him out of the vault. Doppler then turned on his heels, and went to the comm station. "Listen up everyone! I want this weapon on-line by noon tomorrow. Anyone who doesn't agree with that will have to answer to Vile! Is that understood?"
The room full of technicians replied with a unanimous "Yes Sir!",before going back to work. Doppler keyed in the comm sequence for Wily. As it was connecting, he asked the Tech closest to him, "Have you had any luck in pin-pointing his location on the map?"
The tech nervously replied, "Not yet sir. The coding structure is dense. We think some information might be added to try and throw us off his trail. The actual source code is still encrypted. It will be some time before we are able to ascertain his direct location on the map."
"How much time?"
"Well sir, anytime we work with an uncertain probability factor like this....uh..", the tech didn't finish the thought. "I think I see what you mean Doppler replied. You basically are saying that you don't know."
"Yes.", the tech answered.
"Well, it is very important to me that you find this. I need to know where he is. It is the only way I can destroy him."

Just then he got the go ahead to record his message. It would then be sent directly to Wily, wherever he was.
"Dr. Wily? This is Dr. Doppler. I want to meet in person to discuss your demands. If you do not agree to meet with me alone, in person, then you will have no dealings with me. I will give you the following coordinants. They will lead you to a small, abandoned Ex-Military base in the Rocky Mountains. There are no weapons, but it contains a massive detections array. We can meet here as neutral territory. That way I know you aren't trying anything, and you know I'm not trying anything. Doppler out."
After making sure the machine was disconnected, Doppler turned to that tech, and said, "Get me Vile!"

Wily watched as RX easily got passed his defences.
"Master you are throwing every card you have at him and he is beating you!" Sigma exclaimed
Wily glanced at Sigma and sighed
"You do not know very well do you even though they might get through my main defences." Wily paused "I always have a trump card."
Sigma quirked a brow and asked "who or what is your trump card?"
Wily chuckles "Sigma.. Sigma you are my minion I would love to see the look on that Ryujin X's face when he sees you walk out there why don't you go give him the news sigma..

Just as IO was about to begin the next sim, Zero walked into the room. "Whoa!", Zero exclaimed as he entered. "This brings back memories." X and IO turned to face him. "Zero! You're okay!", X burst out. "Hello X. Yes, I am better now. I think it was funny, but I went there to rescue you. In the end it was you who saved me, and got me out of there. I owe you many thanks." X shook Zero's hand. "I couldn't have done it alone Zero. I had help!" Zero nodded. "Yes, I can see that. I owe IO my thanks as well." Zero extended his hand to IO. IO shook his hand. "X was just about to start a training program for me. Are you interested in fighting with us?"
"Sorry," ,Zero groaned, "But the doc said to take it easy. I'm not going to exert myself just yet. That salamander's bite took alot out of me."
"Yes, I heard he was carrying a form of the Sigma Virus. Could he somehow have been infected by it? Do you think he was a Maverick?", X inquired.
"I don't know X. And, I didn't let him hang around long enough to ask him. I don't want to jump to any conclusions. Right now I just need to rest up a bit."
X: "What do you think we ought to do about the situation on Dr. Doppler's Island?"
Z: "Hmm. It seems like our presence is required there. I will go and talk with Signas about this. Maybe an official mission is out of the question at this time? I'm not sure what Signas will decide."
X: "Before he can approve a mission, he needs an analysis of all the data we've collected on the island."
Z: "Right. I will go and speak with him at this time. Perhaps he will organize an offensive?"
X: "We'll see! I'm going to be up in the control room with Jazz. Come back when you are finished talking with Signas."
Zero turned and left the training facility.
"Hey, wait X! You said we were going to work as a team."
"We are going to work as a team. I'm going to spot for you up in the control room."
"Spot? What does that mean?", IO was confused.
"Think of it as a coach, trying to help you win a game. Only in this game, you will be fighting for your life."
"Really? You're giving me a real challenge?"
"Yes I am. Have you ever heard of Magma Dragoon?"

Mega Man X stood facing IO. The holographic projection system had been coupled with the anti-gravity generators to make them both feel like they were on a moon in orbit around Jupiter. The gravity was signifigantly reduced, and the view was spectacular. X charged his buster gun, and fired. IO had switched from defense to offense, and was only at his first power level. He anticipated the attack, and positioned himself for his offensive/defensive counter move called Tiger Tactic. The blast deflected off of his steel saber, and he leaped forward with a downward 45 degree angled swipe. X was forced to jump back, or else risk getting his chest slashed open. The blade narrowly missed him, as he flung his arms open wide. IO leaned his weight into his shoulder, and with his momentum pushed forward. As X was backing up, IO hit him with a shoulder charge. Not a technique of his, more of an improvisation. X groaned, "Ugh!" ,as he was sent sprawling. He landed on his back, and slid for a bit. The holo imagers made skid marks where his body hit, and kicked up a cloud of photo-realistic dust. IO swung his blade around, and held it in his left hand, on his forward side, in a cross-body defensive stance. His right arm hung down at his side. He activated his weapon gauntlet, and his arm changed into the IO buster. X got up slowly. "Nice hit!",he said. IO nodded, but did not change his stance. X smirked, and said, "Okay, my turn now." IO had power. X knew this. But X had speed, and he was going to use it to his advantage.
X fired a quick burst at IO, and dashed forward IO was forced to leap out of the way. He jumped off to the side, and X speed dashed right through the space where he stood. What were walls in the real world, was now a rock wall. X jumped up, and bounded right off the wall. He did a back flip, and landed right behind IO. That's because IO had turned to face X, as he sped by him. Now, facing the other way, and being completely off gaurd, X landed, and led into him with a spin kick. The flat of his foot hit IO right across the back. IO was close to the wall, and hit it hard. He dropped his blade, and fell backwards. When he landed, he was looking at an Upsidedown X. Or at least that was what he could see from his perspective, as X was standing over him. "You move very fast.",IO noted. X offered him a hand to get up and replied, "I have to. It is the only way I stay alive. What do you say? Do you want to keep going, or stop now?"
X helped IO get up. "Well X, we've really just started. I could keep going. I need the practice. I haven't fought many Reploids you know."
As he said that X tilted his head sideways. His lip curled, and his brow furrowed. "Hmm. That gives me an idea!"
"Oh? What's that?", IO asked as he picked his sword back up.
"Jazz, you still on?", X asked her. She responded in her usualy happy tone. "Yeah X, what's up?"
"I think we've had enough of the space sim for now. Can you change it to an interior setting?"
"Sure, which one did you want?"
"Hmm. Uh, I don't know. Surprise me!", X chuckled.
Jazz worked her fingers over the console, and the space scenario died down. The room returned to it's normal state, but only for a moment. Jazz keyed in a sequence, and the room began to hum again. In a moment, the next set up had materiallized. "Well, how's that?", she asked X.
"Spark Mandrill? Why'd you pick his program?", X inquired.
"I just though you might get a charge out of it!"
"Cute.", IO said flatly. "Now do we begin?"
"Not yet.", X replied. "Jazz?", He asked in a wanting tone.
"Okay, okay. I'll give you a different one!", she grumbled.
A moment later, they were in what looked like a warehouse. It was very similar to the one's Blast Hornet used.
"Thank you Jazz. Okay, now we begin.", X said.
"What is our main objective? Do we fight eachother?", IO asked. "No, here we work as a team. When I give the word, this place will be crawling with warrior Reploids. You will learn to utilize your environment to your advantage. You will also learn how the Maverick Hunters operate in an offensive, and defensive situation. You will be tested on both.", X informed him. IO was reminded who was the teacher, and who was the student. He listened well as X spoke.
"We begin when you are ready.",X said. (to be continued)

The new anti-virul programe that was made from the spare DNA from RX had just finished taking its course, Zero was healed, but just like Humans, it would take a little time before he was 100% again.

Zero awoke as if from a Nightmare..

Z: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

He suddenly stopped and then looked around

Z: What? I'm awake?

Douglas turned and looked at him

D: Welcome back to the land of the living, you gave us a scare for a while

Z: What do you mean?

D: Its a long story, but you were infected with a new strain of the Sigma virus and it was systematically shutting down all of your systems

Z: How'd you stop it?

D: We had some DNA on file that showed resistance

Z: Resistence? who's?

D: Why I beleive you know him, it was Ryujin X.

Z: RX? he was here?

D: No, it was a sample we took when he came back from his last mission, I'm not sure how or why he had resistance to this strain but be thankful he did

Z: I see..wait! what about X?

D: He's fine, infact he's training right now with that large fellow who came in with you

Z: Large fellow?? oh you must mean IO.

D: Yes.

Z: Am I cleared to go?

D: Well I'd give it a bit of time, but if you must yes, just don't overexert yourself.

Z: Ok, I'm going to talk to X and IO

At that Zero walked out of the room and down the corridoor..

At the moonbase RX's shuttle had just landed and he and NS had just exited the shuttle

Everything was quiet and RX looked around suspiciously

RX: Its quiet...TOO quiet...Wily must be expecting me...
Well, I don't care what card he has up his sleeve this time, not even the whole deck will stop me now!

RX walked slowly down the corridoor looking at the moonbase

RX: Man..this place sure has changed since last time...some reasearch team were using it to observe meteors last time I checked.

RX: Huh?

RX turned as if he sensed something..

RX: Nightshade, here they come...

Suddenly out of the shadows a swarm of black spider drones came out, they were about the size of RX's upper body, they shot powerful cutting lazers from a gun embedded in their heads, they had a paralizing energy net they could fire out to catch victims and they spit out highly corrosive acid from their mouths.

RX: Looks like Wily's been busy...he really is having too much fun now

RX closed his eyes and they were covered in shade, he stood there waiting for the to get nearer, then he, in one ultra quick motion, unsheathed his energy blade and cut 5 of them in half, he then got in a battle stance ready to fight

RX: Toys like you are no match for me, get ready! (ominous words *character note: If RX ever says "get ready" this then you know he's not playing around any more, it usually means his oponant will be dead in a split second, he always says it in a low ominous tone)

Wily paced in the particle beam watching and waiting for dopplar's answer then a bot came on the screen
"Sir! the X-28 particle beam is fully operational and ready to fire on you command" The bot said
"Good keep the beam on it's set coarse Dopplar has 15 mins to comply before his island is turned to dust and he thinks the enigma is much more powerful than this ultimate wepon. well he will learn about it's destructive force if he does not comply." then Wily chuckled evilly "won't he BladeRunner?"
BladeRunner was struggling to get out of the trap but no avail
"Wily you won't get away with this RX will kill you! BladeRunner said
Wily just sat there and chuckled "I think he will fail don't you think my minion?" Wily turned to a shadow and a all too familiar figure walked into the light
"Yes he will fail master" Sigma said to his new master Dr. Wily
BladeRunner's mouth dropped and then said "Sigma, B-but your supposed to be dead killed in an explosion!" BladeRunner said with surprise
Sigma laughed and said "I will tell you the last look on RX's face when he sees his death coming and that death will be me....meh heh heh heh." Sigma laughed with his evil nature
"Sigma I wish to discuss my second phase of the plan earth is launching a space colony called Eurasia.." After that BladeRunner could hear no more of the conversation it sounded to him like "use him he can get the job done.." or "then earth will be ours to command"

"...Oh, and one more thing!", Dr. Doppler added.
"I had recruited each of you by whatever means necessary. Your talent and skill was important to me. And, you have all done a wonderful job. But I still hold the cards here. And, I have decided to up the ante!"

"What are you talking about?", Thunder Ram asked him.
(You remember that Doppler was threatening to destroy his home city!)

"I have decided not to take any chances. I have linked a satellite to track my location, and vital signs at all hours of the day. This is not just any satellite! It has the Omega 9 mass particle projection system rigged to it. If for any reason I am killed, or severly injured, I have rigged the satellite to fire upon Maverick Hunter Headquarters. I also have a remote firing sequence programmed in, and I can alternate between them, and several other targets of my choosing. Wonderful cities such as Paris, Neo Tokyo, New York, or London will vanish with the touch of a button. So, should any of you get any funny ideas, be advised. I am watching you. If any of you try to take me down, you'll bring down many countless innocents along for the ride!
I do not think that any of you want that, right?"
Doppler let the silence hang in the air for a minute.
"I didn't think so. Pledge your loyalty to me now, or be destroyed. Your choice! Each of you will be required to wear my emblem somewhere on your bodies. Bit and Byte will see to it that you do. Now everyone report to your stations!"
Doppler motioned for Vile to follow him, and they left the Mech plant. Vile said nothing, but mulled over some thoughts. Doppler turned to him and said, "That should keep them in line." --to be continued!

All 8 speciallists were gathered together in the Mech assembly plant. Word had reached Doppler that Mega Man X was gone. The tournament was finished. Doppler took all of those who were loyal to him, and sent the rest out on a cargo vessle bound for Hawaii. The boat never made it. It was rigged to explode, and sink half way out to sea. Doppler wiped his hands of the mess. It was crisis time now. The tournamnet was behind them, and it was time to begin his operation.
Wave Tortise, Thunder Ram, Razor Mantis and Metal Scorpion were on the left. Saber Wolf, Needle Porcupine, Wind Raven & Blast Bull were on the right. Bit, Byte, and Vile also joined him. Dr. Doppler stood in the middle, joined by Crescent Grizzly.

"Our main objective has become active now. The guise of the tournament has concluded. We are now in the implementation phase. I have called this meeting to address certain concerns. First off, I want to assure you that the threat imposed upon us by this mysterious Wily person is of little concern. Each of you concentrate on your job, and leave him to me. Mr. Grizzly here has provided us with a superior weapon. The Enigma Particle Cannon!"
There were oohs, and ahhs traded around the circle.
"I thought that weapon was only a myth?", Porcupine asked.
"Its very old, isn't it?", Wolf added
"Gentlemen. This weapon is no myth. It is real. It is old, but to some degree it has been restored. Still, it is enough for us to proceed. We have this as our trump card, but the battle is yet ahead. We must concentrate on our sea, air, and ground forces. As such, I am anticipating your reports.

Wolf spoke first. "Armor production has been completed sir. All ships, and mechs have been equipped with Grade 7 Nova class Titanium-C armor plating."

"Energy production has exceeded consumption levels by 37 percent Sir. We are easilly able to stockpile reserve fuel sources, and are well equipped for a lengthy campaign.", Blast Bull added.

"Our energy shield has been installed, and the system is on-line. We estimate completion of the beta phase testing will be complete in 30 minutes. Island security will be enforced to the highets degree sir." This from Thunder Ram.

"Despite the recent setbacks, my team assures me that our airforce will be 100% operational by the end of the week sir.", Wind Raven informed them. Doppler gave him a raised eyebrow look. "That is four days away. This is unacceptable!
You have until tomorrow night, is that understood?"
"Will I receive any help from the production departments?"
"Take what you need, but get the work done! I do not like being vulnerable Raven. Understand me?"
"Yes sir.", Raven replied. There was tension between these two over the misuse of Doppler's funding. Raven hadn't been able to stay on schedule because of it. It was Doppler's fault, but it was not Raven's place to say. As such, Doppler was not going to be mocked. he just expected Raven to pick up the slack. The reports continued.
Porcupine went next. "Sir, all mechs have been completed. We increased the production time, and were able to meet the demand three days ahead of schedule. We even had time to install a few optional extras on Vile's Giga Mech."
"Excellent. What about our navy?"
Tortise fielded that question. "Sir. My only problem was a late delivery from the armor department. We were able to complete all but ten submarines due to this infraction."
"Wolf said that all the ships were fitted with the armor. Is this a lie?", Doppler asked with a concerned voice.
"No sir. The ships have armor plating. There are just a few exterior components that need to be installed. Such as drive units, or the guidance systems."
"Alright. When do you expect to be done?"
"Barring any unforseen occurences, tonight at the earliest. But the worst case scenario is tomorrow morning."
"Very well. What else?"
The remainder of the ground sounded off unanimously with an "all systems go."
"Very good. Tomorrow I want a full assembly of our troops. I want the air force up, and I want the navy to create a perimiter around the Island. We are going to deploy our troops strategically. I'm sending Wily a message. We will not be intimidated!"

Good news BR. I finally got to scan in the drawings I did of IO, and Blade Runner. I had planned to redo them in Adobe Illustrator, but I wasn't able to due to time constraints.
The drawing of BR is not colored in because I wasn't sure about his color scheme. If you want, just send me an e-mail, and I'll attatch the pictures. RX, if you want to I can send them to you also. I'll drop a hint about Doppler next.

(RX, your use of IO was fine. He is usually pleasant, but very intelligent. He normally has a calm disposition, but smart Reploids would leave him alone when he is angry!)

X took his battle ready stance. His legs were straight, his knees slightly bent, his left hand was gripping his right arm at the base of his X buster. His Buster was charging, and trained on IO. In a flash he could fire a precision volley of shots if he so desired.
IO's stance was different. His legs were wide apart, his knees bent to an angle. His elbows were bent, and his hands were out in front of his chest, just below his chin. He held them together, charging energy for his attack. His defense shield held. It looked like a blue bubble, slowly rotating around him. At a moment's notice, his arm would change into the IO buster, and he too could release a devestating volley of shots. The tension was in the air. Jazz was waiting for X's signal to begin the timer, and the obstacles. The combat simulation was ready. The room was alive with a humming of energy. The sun shone brightly as it rose over the edge of Jupiter. Thesmall ring around Jupiter looked magnificent. X smirked, and with a soft voice spoke to the comm. "Okay Jazz...NOW!"

X met IO in the training room. It was a very expansive room. It was just as high as it was wide. The entire room was covered with white panels. In between each panel there was a sheet of what looked like black glass. Light, or energy flowed in pulses under the glass. It coarsed through the walls, floor, and ceiling. It made the room look like it was alive with power. IO entered the room, and was looking very impressed. X stood there, taking in the size of the room. IO walked over to meet him. He saw X staring up at the bay windows which looked down upon the training room.
"X, good to see you again.", IO smiled. "What are you doing?" X looked as if he were lost in thought.
"Oh, sorry. I was just thinking. Zero and I used to practice here alot. We spent long days training to be the best. Now Zero's sick, and I don't know if he'll pull through."
"I know what it is like to lose someone you care about, but try not to think that way. Zero will make it. He is strong. Even though he was weak when I met him, I could feel his power. Anyway, I'm told that you are to be my sparing partner. Shall we begin?"
"Alright, tell you what....we'll make it interesting."
X held up his wrist, and spoke to the communicator.
"Control room, X here. We're ready for you."
The tech in the room was named Jazz.
"Okay X, we're on-line, and ready to go. What program do you want us to run?", Jazz asked. She spoke with a light, happy voice. "Jazz, execute program 1138, then wait for my signal."
"Roger.", Jazz agreed. The line disconnected. Suddenly the lights went off. X could feel IO tense up.
"Relax, we don't begin yet.", he said.
"I thought it was to be a sneak attack.", he muttered.
He was already powering up his defense field.
Suddenly IO felt strange. The light returned, but as thousands of tiny pin-pricks. At his feet he saw a brown cratered rock, and it looked as if he were in space.
"What is this?", he asked. He was rigid.
"A little joke I guess. We made a programmed simulation just for you. Right now you are on IO, the moon of Jupiter.
Look over there, the planet should be visible in a few moments.", X said as he gestured. Sure enough, the planet Jupiter rose into full view. IO stepped back agahst.
"This is some room!", he replied.
"Yeah, don't let it distract you though, because I'm not going to take it easy on you! I hear you're pretty tough, so I've been told to give you a good match."
IO took his stance, "I'm sure you won't disappoint!"

(Yea butRX and Br shouldn't even mention there was even sigma because remeber X andZero don't find out who made the space colony crash and they find out when they see sigma so they would just make up some sort of story about the particle beam attack...
BTW: Ryujin? do you live in a different timezone than I I live in the U.S. near the great lakes and I was wondering what times are you usually on and what country so I can get the right time where I live..)

Douglas and Lifesaver both worked trough the night to try a way to cure zero, but everything they tried seemed to be unaffective...

D: It does not look good..zero's condition is weakening...

LS: But this does not make any sense!! The anti virul program was working! but now it seems to be having the oposite effect!! Damn! It is not meerly weakening him now..it is begining to shut down his main systems!

D: Maybe so, but unless we do something Zero may die...he seems to have strong anti-viral capabilities...but this particular strain of the sigma virus seems to be attacking his systems differently...

LS: We have taken samples of the virus, but so far have been unable to determin a means of creating an effective anti virus...

Lifesaver looked over at zero who was still groaning..

Zero: Ughhhh....uhhhhh...

D: The thing is I've seen something with properties like this before...but where...

LS: We have also taken samples of Zero's DNA to try and further analyse it in hopes of finding a cure but..

Suddeny Douglas cut him off

D: Of course!! thats it!!! DNA!!!

LS: What do you mean?

D: Remember that sample of Ryujin X's DNA we were trying to analyse?

LS: Yes?

D: Well it had alot of interesting properties, but the one that concerns me is that it appears to have amunity to the sigma virus, but not just the sigma virus, this strain!

LS: How is that possible?

D: I'm not sure...but I definatly saw the same properties as the virus...but it was contained...almost as if this DNA was human and a person had just recovered from a virus...traces would be left, but so would anti-bodies capable of detecting and destroying the virus...I believe this to be the case here...

LS: But if what you are saying is true then RX would have had to have been infected by this particular strain at one time or another...

D: His last mission and the incidents surrounding it are a mystery...why is Protoman X stuck in this error loop? where is Alia? and why did RX leave the Maverick Hunters? unfortunatly all of this info is top secret, only the highest level clearance can access it...

LS: Either way, if it can help zero then we better get it out of storage, where is it?

D: Data room C. Follow me.

They walked out of the room and down towards Data room C, suddenly they heard a noise

D: What was that?

A dark figure ran out of the room holding something in his hand, it was so dark that they could not make him out, but he appeared to be a reploid..

LS: Stop!!

But his words came to late as the theif was already gone..

LS: I'll sound the alarm, you check and see what was stolen!

D: Right!

Douglas ran into the room and saw that the sample of RX's DNA they had was gone

D: Its gone!

LS had just set the intruder alert and then ran into the room to see what was stolen

LS: You mean RX's DNA???

D: Yes

LS: But..why? how?

D: I'm not sure...but we better report this to signas right away..

LS: Why are you so calm? without it Zero will die!

D: Heh...wrong. Remember we always take a second sample of DNA just in case anything happens to the 1st.

LS: Your right! Luckily our their was unaware of this fact.

Douglas opened a vault and slid out the sample of RX's DNA from the huge pile all stacked up

D: Ok, here you take this and begin working on an anti-virus program for Zero, and I'll go and tell signas about our thief.

LS: Understood.

At the same time the alarm was sounded, Signas stood up in shock at the sound of the alarm

S: What? an intruder? All security systems on full alert, an intruder has been spotted in the base!

IO was walking down the corridoor towards the trining are for his match with X when he heard this message

IO: hmm? an intruder? who would be stupid enough to brake in here? and for what purpose?

Suddenly a shadowy figure dashed down the corridoor

IO: What the?

IO stood in his path and created a defense shield around his body, the theif bounced off it and fell backwards, but quickly flipped back up off the ground, IO quickly switched to attack mode and swung his weapon towards the intruder, but his agility was increadible as he leaped over IO's head and fired a plasma blast, which hit IO on the back and knocked him down for a second, it was a lucky hit but it did its job and gave the intruder enough time to escape..

IO flipped up off the ground with his saber at the ready, but the intruder was already gone...

IO: Interesting technique...but it was a lucky shot, a few more minuete's and he would have been disabled..

IO thought about it for a moment, but then remembered he had a sparing match with Megaman X and so he continued to the training facility...

(Hope I used IO ok, I was not sure what I was going to have happen but for something I have planned later I needed the thief to escape, so I'm sorry if that was not IO's personality or what he would do in that situation, if you'd like you can do a long fight between the two but where the intruder escapes at the end, its up to you, but I was just trying to get the stories to mesh together

Anyway LS should create an anti-virus from RX's DNA and Douglas should tell Signas what happened, I'll leave it in your capable hands, but if its too much work I can do it, as I know you have a sparing match between X and IO planned.

Just say the word for what you want to do. BTW: Was that post ok? or did I mess up some stuff for you?)

Oh and BR I'll do a post from RX's perspective soon, but I'm waiting till Wily gets to the moon base 1st, because a post of RX just piloting a shuttle on his own chasing Wily would not be that interesting, so I'll post it that RX is approaching the moon base and then lands there, after Wily of course because that would make it more interesting.

Oh and one more thing...should RX and BR tell Signas and the other about Sigma?

Also...if its told about Wily then that would mess up later storylines in the X games, so we should just say it was "a mad scientist" ad not say who exactly it was..and we should make sure that Zero never meets Wily, thats all.

Wily sat there at the beam control panel with BR floating behind him.
"Un-uhh..." Muttered BladeRunner weakly
Wily turned around with a smile on his face
"Welcome back Dr. Cannon your just in time.. to wake up..just in time to see your creation at work...." Wily gestured to the particle beam
BladeRunner Grimaced at Wily's voice
"Why do you have to be alive Wily.." BladeRunner said
"Well I can't die.."Wily chuckled
BladeRunner looked around at his surroundings and eyes widened and he saw Wily had rebuilt the Particle Beam that he had created the blue prints for over 30 years ago..
"Why and how..." BladeRunner barely got but Wily started to say
"With your help you gave me the plans and now I will finish what I started" Wily said with glee
Wily walked to the control panel and was typing coordinates.. then the particle beam very slowly started to move ina direction then he turned on the video link to dopplar island.. the face of Dopplar came on looking very angry
"AHH Dopplar It is nice to see you.." Wily said
"What do you want and how did you get this number" Dopplar asked
"enough of the small chatter Dopplar I am aware you are under attack and this is just the first of my big plans.." Wily was cut off by dopplars angry talking
"YOU DID THIS!?" Dopplar yelled
"Yes and I will destroy your island if you do not heed my warningI want you to surrender your forces to me or I shall wipe out your island.." Wily said

"No.." Dopplar said out right
Wily eyes flamed with hate.
"You have one hour to change your mind if not you will be destroyed" with anger Wily shut down the video link

Abilities:
--Defense System--
Io is equipped with a state-of-the-art defense system. His priamary system uses an impenetrable energy sphere. He also contains quantam crystal armor made from the rare metal known as "Elementium." His armor draws energy in from physical attacks, as well as energy attacks. Based on Mega Man X's previous armor systems, IO can convert the energy from damage into two different systems. The first is the "Auto Repair System."
This means that the very attacks which are designed to destroy him can in effect actually make him stronger. The second is the "Crystal Shield System." The energy is converted into a shield of crystal plates which materiallize around his body. The end result is a crystal cocoon which surrounds, and protects him. The crystal cocoon can witstand alot of damage, but will eventually shatter, and explode. When this happens, it acts as a weapon, sending shards of razor sharp crystal in every direction. IO can trigger this explosion at any time the crystal shield is active.

--Attack System--
IO is also equipped with a powerful attack system. His arms contain gauntlets which hold powerful energy spheres. He can create these in the palms of his hands, and throw them.
If he holds his hands together, he can create a sphere with double the size and power.
IO also uses a hand weapon. His "Steel Saber" is a highly effective close range weapon.
It is a long, solid black blade made from the same material as his armor. It is a meter long, and is studded with a row of flat spikes on the edge. (Sort of like a comb.)
IO is an excellent melee fighter, and has a variety of sword techniques, and combination attacks, as follows...

Techniques:
IO's sword techniques fall on different levels. The levels increase as his energy output increases. His power level, and the damage inflicted with each attack increase with two scenarios. The first is the "Crisis Scenario." Since IO can not be damaged in his defense mode, he was built with a precaution. If, when in attack mode, he has taken too much damage, his power level reaches a hidden maximum. He is able to perform his "Crisis Attack," the "IO Storm." This ultimate attack sends waves of torrid energy in a wide radius, discintegrating everything, including the ground beneath his feet. The other scenario is the "Hyper Scenario." In this scenario, IO's power level increases because his attacks continue to take effect. He builds upon his own momentum, charging more of his power, and focusing his attacks. In a short while he is able to reach his maximum, and perform his most devestating techniques.

Levels:
Level 1 attacks include:
-Wolf's Blade: This is a melee attack, which involves a series of 45 degree angle swipes of the steel saber.
-Tiger Tactic: This move gives the opponets the impression that IO is defending with his sword. It is usually used as a counter move, where he deflects a physical attack, and then lunges forward with a downward swipe.
-Sphere Blast: A basic move, where IO charges energy from his gauntlets. He throws an energy sphere from his hand.

Level 2 attacks include:
-Raptor Blade: IO leans his full weight into this attack. This is also a melee attack which involves a horizontal, and vertical swipe.
-Plasma Cutter: While holding the steel sword, IO charges energy into the blade, thus creating a burning sword attack.
-Machine Blast: IO holds his hands together to create a stronger energy shot. When the energy sphere hits, it seperates, and burns through the air around the target.

Level 3 attacks include:
-IO Blade: IO charges his body with energy. Sliding forward with a short range, optical illusion trailing him, he attacks with a combination sword attack. Each swipe increases the amount of damage done, with the final swipe being a "plasma cutter."
-Ground Tactic: Io focuses energy into his blade, and swipes the blade in a golf swing. Energy travels along the ground in a wave, which leaves the ground burned, and scarred in it's wake.
-IO Blast: IO charges, and throws a volley of double sized energy spheres. For use as an arial attack, IO can throw a blast into the ground below him, to give him a boost, then rain energy spheres down on his opponent.

Level Four attacks inlude:
-IO Maximum: Rather than actual energy spheres, IO throws a solid beam of light, which holds for several moments, before disappearing.
-IO Rush: In this attack, IO focuses the energy from his gauntlets into the drive system in his legs, and body. He then leaps forward, and flies for a short distance, while engulfed in a plasma flame. This attack is similar to Mega Man X's body crash attack.
-IO Storm: This is the crisis attack. IO reaches his highest level of attack power with this all inclusive energy sphere. He generates a field around his body which discintegrates evergything. However, this attack drains a great deal of his power, and can weaken him even further.

"What do you say? Will you join us?", Signas asked him again.
IO though for a moment longer, then extended his hand, "Alright, I'll do it!", He said with a smile. They shook hands, and then IO's expression changed. "BUT--", he continued. Signas cocked his head sideways, not expecting a "catch." IO finished, "Here's my only condition. If we come across Sigma Alive, leave him to me!"
"I accept your conditions. Only I wonder if you know what you are getting yourself into. Mega Man X has a hard enough time beating Sigma. He's quite clever you know. Even if you destroy him in one form, he automatically reverts to another form."
"Don't worry about me Signas, I can handle myself."
"Well, it is done then. Welcome aboard Maverick Hunter IO. Your first assignment is to report to our Combat Training, and Education center for your training download."
"Training? I already know how to fight!"
"I'm sure you do, but there are just a few protocols you need to know about. We also want an analysis of your current combat abilities. This will help us to classify you, and give you a Hunter Rank."
"Okay, I'lll go then."
"Very Well IO. When you are finished, I'll have X meet you in the training facility. He's going to be your sparring partner.", Signas smiled.
IO nodded. "I'll be glad to have him as my sparring partner. I'm sure it won't be an easy match."
Signas smiled, but said nothing, and let IO get the sense that he was supposed to leave. After a second of silnece hanging in the air, he got it, and left. (to be continued)

G-man you just gave me an interesting Idea..I'm not sure what you have planned for Zero..so if this interfers just say so..but how about Lifesaver and douglas decide to use the sample of RX's DNA that they have which has a natural amunity to the sigma virus to help cure zero?

Its just an Idea, if it interfers with your plans then it dosent matter but its worth thinking about, what do you think?

IO, who we remember had been evacuated to Maverick Hunter Headquarters, now rested in a secured facility. He had been placed under watch, which he didn't seem to mind....for now!
Lifesaver went first, bringing him to the scanning facility.
His entire body system was scanned, and tested. The data was copied to a memroy drive, and was analyzed. Meanwhile, IO was checked for viruses, and for Maverick Intent. Since he passed the test, He was interviewed by Signas next.
Signas talked with him for a long while. IO told Signas of his origin, and the loss of his masters. He also told of his promise to destroy the leader of the Maverick Hunters. Again, Signas had to remind him that Sigma was dead. IO still felt distraught at this. He felt a sense of hopelessness. He did not know why either. He should, in every right feel happy that Sigma was dead. Yet, he almost felt resentful that he wasn't able to do it himself.
Signas tried to reason with him.
"IO, I know you feel frustrated. Your masters were both the victims of injustice. I know you want to correct that mistake. I know you want to prevent further injustices by Sigma. That is our commission here. Join us! Come with us. A reploid as powerful as you shold not be left without a goal in life."
"Signas, my goal in life was to live in peace with Humans, and other Reploids. I wouldn't have ever used my weapons. I was just going to simply exist here, and learn about things. I was going to do things that I find enjoyable. But, now...there is nothing for me. The only solace I had was that I could bring those responbsible for the death of my masters to justice. Now you are telling me that I can't even do that! Why should I join you? You have taken away my only chance for justice."
"We did not take it away. We gave it to you! We are working for justice. That's why we need your help. There is a new threat to justice out there. His name is Dr. Doppler. He was once in league with Sigma. He is right now amassing an army greater than he's ever had before. We need to stop him, and we need your help!
"You want me to join you? You want me to become a Maverick Hunter?", IO asked with consideration. He looked Signas right in the eyes. Signas regarded him warmly.
"Yes. We need all the help we can get. What do you say, will you do it? Will you join us?" (to be continued)

(nice post I really like it but what I was planning that RX fights the uncompleated form of sigma but before the fight the Particle beam will be finished and Wily will fire on dopplar isalnd Dopplar wanting revenge will shoot the particle beam during RX and siggy's fight then BR and RX gave 10:00 mins o get out of the particle beam base and back to earth...that is what g-man and I were discussing but... that is only the outline there is much more to it but that will give you an idea hope this helps..)

RX had now broken trough almost all of the defences of Wily�s island with the help of Nightshade who attacked from the opposite side of the island. Wily�s security was well trained and formidable, but nothing compared to RX�s abilities. He and Nightshade dealt with them easily enough. RX had finally landed on the island. He looked down at Nightshade�

RX: Hmm�Wily is around here somewhere�and so is Blade runner, I can sense his aura�

NS: Grrrr� (he growled in agreeance as he too sensed the presence of BR)

RX walked calmly around the open docks of the island, all was quiet..

RX: Hmm�this is too quiet�something is wrong, be on the ready Nightshade�

NS: Grrrraarrrr..

RX stepped cautiously forward with his hand on the handle of his energy blade that was sheathed in his back�suddenly giant spot lights beamed down and automated plasma machine guns aimed down and began to fire, RX and NS spread out in opposite directions to avoid the volley of projectiles. They hid behind a large container beside one of the warehouses. Suddenly huge numbers of reploids armed with energy rifles surrounded the area. A voice came on trough an amplified megaphone�

�This is the head of security, unknown intruder, you are surrounded and you have no way out. Surrender now or we will be forced to use deadly force. Know that you cannot win, if you surrender now I may be able to guarantee your safety. Surrender or be destroyed! This is your only and final warning!�

RX looked over to NS

RX: Hmm�looks like Wily prepared a little welcome wagon for us? I should have known�I was not expecting this much resistance, but no matter they are no match for us, right Nightshade?

NS: Arouoooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

RX: Heh, I thought you might agree, lets show them exactly what they are dealing with, they are in way over their heads. You take the ones on the right and I�ll take the ones on the left, and simple spread and scatter formation, our first targets are the big guns, then the lights, and then we finish off the scattered security, got it?

NS simply nodded.

RX: Ok, then lets exterminate these bothersome vermin and acquire our real target, now!

At that RX and NS veered off into their assigned directions, NS became his usual stream of whiteish-purple energy (he does not transform into it but it surrounds his body, in a similar way to John Talbains move in Darstalkers, only NS cannot be seen beneath the energy)

RX moved so fast that shadows began to appear behind him of his previous movements, he jumped into the air and fired 5 well aimed shots of his plasma cannon at the automated guns while simultaneously spinning trough the air with his sword cutting to pieces some security beneath him, he then ran forward and jumped off a wall into a flip in which landed on the rooftop, he quickly dashed past with his sabre aimed outward at his side cutting trough the lights and the security bots.

Nightshade had also taken out the targets on his side using his special energy dash, one of his most frequently used moves. The two met back up in the centre of the rooftop and then RX jumped off the roof, aimed the tip of his sword down and descended downwards with a special technique

RX: Piercing Inferno!!!!!!

Fire emanated from his sabre and circulated both it and him in circular streams of fire while he fell, he hit the ground with a powerful blast and their was a huge fiery explosion that emanated in a large semi-circle (in classic anime style) which was so hot it disintegrated all of the security patrol. Once the move was ended RX sheathed his blade as smoke rose from his body. The ground was left chard cracked as smoke rose up from the fiery tomb of the security patrol.

RX: Nightshade!!

NS transformed into his energy stream and quickly flew down to RX�s location.

RX: We have bigger fish to fry!

RX ran at a HUGE metal gate that was about 50 times bigger than RX. It was the main entrance to the facility. (A large construction with 2 doors that meet in the centre, they slide open, one to each side at the same time, you know the type I mean)
While RX was running he clenched his fist as energy seemed to circulate it and then his voice seemed to echo as he called out the name of his special move

RX: Implosion Fist!!!

RX�s fist hit the door dead on the centre, for a few seconds nothing happened and RX stood still with his fist still on the door, the suddenly the air around him and the door began to blow wildly and the door just crumpled in on itself like paper.

RX dashed quickly trough the facility looking fro his friend and his enemy. A small security patrol spotted him..

B: Stop! Who goes there!!??

While still running RX said angrily

RX: I don�t have time for this!!
He quickly without stopping smashed the bots out of his way, when they hit the wall they smashed to pieces, the he smashed the door out of his way as well and kept running..

RX thought to himself..

RX: (Wily, I know you�re here damnit! I won�t allow you to evade me! I will find you!)

He then finally smashed a door open and barged in to what seemed to be a hanger or launch bay for small space craft.

RX: What the?

Then he looked over to a shuttle that began to take off, trough the window he could see Wily, and then BR in the back

RX: WILY!!! (RX shouted with rage at the maximum his vocal processor would allow)

Wily looked out the window, and seeing RX simply grinned evilly as his shuttle began to take off

RX dashed towards it as fast as he could be it was to late, the shuttle had already taken off, RX blasted several plasma shots at it as it took off but they did little damage as it was already airborne at the time.

RX: Damn you!!! You won�t escape me!!

RX looked over to a similar looking craft to what Wily had used

RX: I�ll follow them in this!! Nightshade!!! C�mon!!!

RX opened the hatch followed in by NS and sat down in the pilot seat, the door closed and started up the engine, the course was set to follow Wily�s Ion trail�

RX: Wily, I�m coming for you!

RX said as the shuttle began to take off in pursuit of Wily�little did he know exactly where this bold venture would take him�or what surprises it would have in store�

(PS: Sigma in his unfinished form will be somewhere with Wily won�t he? And he fights RX and RX realises he can�t beat him because BR�s life was in danger and because he is really powerful, so RX just grabs BR and escapes and brings BR back to the hunters base where all the hunters reunite, although BR and RX say nothing of Wily yet, especially not to zero as that would mess up the plot of the later games, is that basically what�s going to happen?)

Wily sat at a control consel in his shuttle and laugh
"Yes Zero Remember what you have done and think on what I am going to make you do...heh...heh....hahahahahhahahahahahahha" Wily Was programming Zero to remember his memories.. and several visons were playing on the screen and is playing in Zero's mind. Then another vision came up in Zero's mind in this oasis there was a bot he was fighting it looked like a human and robot mixed together He was very formidable to Zero But for somereason he had to catch his breath. Zero easily defeated him and for some reason Zero thought he recognized the bot then with horrid recongnization he relized it looked exactly like BladeRunner And zero mde The past BR unconsious.. and then that mad human's laugh riningng in his ear
"Yes my creation.." The form said in Zero's nightmare
"Destroy those that are in your way... make my enemies pay...." The form laughing and Zero's nightmare ending..

(The moment before they met seemed to hang in the air like an eternity. Time seemed to slow. Zero's sword struck sal through the chest, but only then did he reallize the Schizm Salamander's teeth were in his shoulder. Enraged at the pain seering through him, he lifted his opponent. It felt like three hundred pounds of dead weight. He hurled him straight up into the ceiling, and the salamander hit the broken light fixtures. He hit the wires, and fried instantly. Lightning, and sparks filled the air. Zero won, but he collapsed. There was something more than he knew about the salamander's power. It was all ready at work inside his body.)

Zero's dream was real. It HAD happened. It was a nightmare. He was reliving the battle inside his mind. He was thinking about it as he lay almost comatose in sick bay. Then his thoughts began to wander again.

He saw a lab. He saw a dark man with wild hair, and a hideous laugh. He was saying, "Zero! My masterpiece. He is my nemesis, our rivalry. He is what gives me motivation in life. Now go..DESTROY HIM. That's an order!"
Zero's mind swirled with images. The attack on Gamma's Unit. His hands covered with....wait...was it blood?
Heard a scream too. But this time he didn't wake up.
He knew he was dreaming. He knew he couldn't wake up until the anti-virus coding had restructured his CPU. He knew it would take days until he would be normal again. He also knew that he was going to be having dreams like this.
Much to his anguish, and dismay, his mind continued to parade the long string of Ugly incidents which surounded him. In his dreams he saw Iris again. Then he had other images. He remembered bursting into the room with Sigma, Mega Man X, and a clone of himself. He remembered his fight with Colonel, and the mavericks. He remembered his fight with Vile, all the way back when he sacraficed himself.
As he continued to sleep, his visions became worse....

Life Saver toiled long hours to restore Zero back to health. He executed an anti-virus protocol, which was linked directly into Zero's CPU. On the screen, the code was cycling itself out. A string of numbers played across the screen. Each time the anti-virus program corrected a flaw, the code became shorter. Of course, they had a long way to go. The first string started at 3,942,617,093 lines of code. Unfortunately, there was only a ten numeral deduction in every cycle. Literally terrabytes of information in Zero's CPU had been corrupted. Everything from his drive system, to his life support, and even his auto damage repair system.
The readout was giving Lifesaver hope, but the numbers were intriguing. Lifesaver left him there for just a moment to speak to Signas about something he found.
"Signas, I need to ask you something.", he said softly.
"Yes, what is it? Is it about Zero?"
"Yes. The anti-virus program is running through him now. He should be normal in a few days time. It would have taken only a few hours if we could have treated him immediately, but..."
"Yeah, I know. Zero is going to be out it for a while, huh?", Signas said in despair.
"The virus is designed to weaken him. It is not unlike poison to a human. But there was somthing odd about the virus itself."
"What was it?", Signas asked.
"I don't know. It is a new type of Virus. It looks like it was based on the sigma virus, but it contains none of the same properties. Symptoms...or what we might consider as symptoms...do not seem to match with that of the Sigma Virus."
"Do you think it is a new strain of the Sigma Virus?"
"Perhaps. I cannot say for sure, but it looks like someone has been tampering with it. I think that this might be an experimental version of a newer strain of the Sigma Virus."
"Did he get it from a Mvaerick?"
"No. It was from one of the Fighters in Doppler's tournament. I don't know why, but I think that if Zero were exposed to a different strain....maybe a stronger version, it would have the opposite effect on him."
"How can you be sure of that?"
"Really I cannot. As we've said time, and time again...the Body Systems of Mega Man X and Zero are still very much a mystery. Even though we are all based off of X, Dr. Cain could not replicate the designs exactly. With Zero, it seems that his strength to resist viral infection is stronger than in X, but as I said before, I cannot be sure."
"But a virus isn't designed to make Reploids stronger. It wouldn't make any sense."
"I know. It might be nothing...but I'll keep watch on him. Don't worry, I don't think he'll go berzerk like X did before."
"Just in case, I want two teams around sick bay, until we can confirm his condition."
"As you wish sir.", Lifesaver said. Then, he left the room.

(Thanks for the info on Protoman X. His whereabouts were obscure to me. Normally I seem to be able to remember where everyone was...but he's ben out of it for a while. Anyway, Signas still plans to treat Ryujin in a suspicious nature. The "Mending" was a reference to his leaving before anything worse could happen. Also, Alia left to live with Gate for Her protection, and also to provide the background elements for her part in X6. More IO on the way. We'll keep you posted.)

RX was hovering for quite some time now when he picked up a nearby island instalation in the distance...

RX: Hmm..this has to be the place, they masked their Ion trails, but not THAT well. Wily must be getting sloppy, if it is indeed him behind all of this.

RX dashed towards the complex..

Inside the complex
A bot is sitting in front of a load of wall mounted security monitors when suddenly...

B: Huh? sir, there is something I think you should see!

W: What is it? I'm a very busy man!!

B: Look, something seems to be aproaching at great speeds sir..it appears to be a single reploid! Image scanners can't make him out completely though...

As the image became clearer Wily gasped

W: What?? thats not possible!!!

B: What is it sir? do you know him? who is he???

W: Just a ghost from the past....

B: Sir?

W: Well, its seems that Ryujin X is alive in this time too...well I'm not sure what he wants here, but I will make him pay for what he and his friends did to my plans all those years ago! Perhaps he may come in useful after all...when I disect him!!! Put all defence systems and security on full alert!

B: Yes sir!

Wily began to walk off

B: But where are you going sir?

W: I'm going to prepare a little surprise for our unwelcome guest...he'll be dying to see it...hehehehehehehe!!!

Wily walked off laughing..

RX: Hmm? the defence systems are activating...looks like they've spotted me....time to move out! Lets see what you've cooked up for me this time Wily! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

RX began his assault on the complex.

In BR's cell..
BR was contemplating what had just happened when suddenly he heard a big explosion and that entire floor shook.

BR: What the hell was that??

BR looked over at a security patrol walking past..

B: Whats going on anyway?

B2: Aparantly the complex is under attack by someone.

B: What do you mean "someone"? is it the Maverick hunters??

B2: No, its a lone reploid...

B: Wha!!?? But thats suicide?? that can't be right??

B2: Its true, I got my orders directly from central command.

B: But why would someone do something so stupid?? He'll be killed for sure!! it MUST be a trap!!

B2: Its not your job to think! we have orders and I intendt to carry them out, we are ordered to engage the enemy and stop him at all costs, is that understood?

B: Yes sir!

At that they ran down the corridoor..

BR: What?? a single reploid? But who would be crazy enough to attack a heavily armed complex alone?? and I wonder why? hmmmm.....damn...if only I had my full power...this would be the perfect time to escape..but I can barely move..let alone even try to break out of these...perhaps Signas has sent someone to rescue me? no..not possible..not enough time..besides the risks are too great...

BR: I just wonder who would be crazy enough to try this? surely they'll be killed? this is just another piece to the puzzle I guess...

"It was the only way to save her.", Signas replied.
"And this....scientist brought her back?"
"Yes. He was using experimental technology. As far as she knows, nothing happened to her. I just don't know what we're going to do if Ryujin X ever shows up here. I mean...he killed her. And poor Protoman X never returned from that mission either." (If I remember right.)
"I think I just saw Ryujin X! Right as we were about to leave he ran past us and disappeared."
"Do you know where he was going?"
"No. I don't know what to do if I see him again either."
"I think we should consider him to be a security risk for now. At least we should treat him with suspicious concern. If he does try to contact us, we must keep him at arm's length. He did try to mend his ways before he left here."

"Do you think we should give Alia more security?"
"No she's fine. He wouldn't think about going after her again."
"I can't believe you ressurected her. Is she the same as before?"
"Oh yes. In every detail. It was just like when you and Dr. Cain brought back Zero after defeating the X-Hunters."
"Zero came in and rescued me that time. He came right ON time too. Sigma had made a copy of Zero. Hey wait! You don't think this scientist would make copies of her do you?"
"No. He has no purpose to, nor any reason. Besides, Alia had agreed to stay with him for a little while, and help assist him in his work."
"I wish you would tell me his name."
"I must keep that a secret. But do not worry, all will reveal itself in time. In the meanwhile, why don't you go check in with Douglas? He has been working on some parts that will help your system dramatically."
X agreed, and left. The two also agreed on setting a meeting time to discuss an official mission to Doppler's island.
X went to see Douglas. Meanwhile, Signas keyed into his comm-link.
"Yes Signas, what can I do for you?", a Rep asked.
"See if you can get me Blade Runner. I want to

The good ol' 17th unit is always there when you need 'em! Case in point, we find our hereos, Mega Man X and Zero have been brought back to Hunter Base, courtesy of the boys in the 17th!
The shuttle had landed, and a full medical, and security staff was on hand for X's long awaited return. You'll remember, Mega Man X has not been back to Hunter HQ since he had been infected many weeks ago.
Now finally he had been returned home. Life Saver had set to work right away in an effort to repair the damage done to Zero. IO was placed in a secure room where he could recharge. He had agreed to cooperate thus far. Mega Man X had also been checked out, and had been given a clean bill of health. After his tests, Signas had asked to speak with X alone in his quarters. X now stood outside, and rang the door chime.
"Do come in X.", Signas invited warmly. X entered, and Signas bade him to sit.
"What did you want to speak to me about?", X asked blankly. He actually had alot to tell Signas, but they both knew that now was too soon to organize anything. No, this was personal. Signas was leaning forward in his chair. His face was being propped up by his hands. His elbows rested against the desk. He sat back slowly, and let out a sigh.
"You had us all worried you know."
"I'm sorry. I don't know what happened. Alot of my memory of the past few weeks is fragmented."
Signas keyed the console on his desk. A wall panel slid away to reveal a concealed screen. Signas slid his chair sideways so that X could see the screen.
"Do you remember the last time you were here?"
"No I don't remember."
"Well, this was how you left the place.", Signas said in a somber tone. He keyed the video playback command. X saw himself lying on a table in sick bay. He leapt up, and started to blast everything. The video ended with him blowing a big hole in the wall, and leaping out.
"What!?",X was agahst! "I know that's me, but it just couldn't be! I don't remember any of that!"
"What do you remember? Think hard."
"Well, I remember that Sigma was in outter space. We went to hunt him. I went to Mars with Saber Wolf."
"Yes, but you returned home safely."
"Then I remember a mission with Blade Runner."
"Yes, it was a reclamation project. You went to Tounge Frog's abandoned lair looking for armor and weapon capsules.", Signas added.
"I remember we were fighting some enemies, and....I...we got seperated."
"What else? Think hard X. What else do you remember?"
"I fell. I fell down a hole, or something. I saw a capsule! It was one from Dr. Light. But no....something was wrong."
"What happened?"
"Dr Light....he tried to warn me about something."
"Warn you? Warn you about what?"
"I don't know. But as soon as I got out his image reappeared, it was so brief. He never reappears though. It was him trying to speak...but something cut him off. So the image changed into the shape of my helmet. Then....I...I don't know. Everything went black."
"What is the next thing you remember?"
"I woke up, and I was looking at Vile!"
"Vile! Where was this?"
"He told me that I was on Dr. Doppler's Island. Not the old one. This was called New Doppler Town!"
"What did he do with you?", Signas asked.
"He told me that I had to fight in Doppler's tournament. The next thing I know I was in an arena with thousands of fans watching me. I also had an opponent coming at me hard and fast. I didn't want to.....but I had to delete him."
"Doppler. I cannot believe that he has returned. I thought his dealings with Sigma would have taught him a lesson by now."
"No Signas. He's not in league with Sigma anymore."
"How do you know?"
"Vile told me everything. On my way into the arena Vile said that HE killed Sigma in Space, and that Doppler had stolen almost half of the ships left over from the Repliforce space division."
"If this is true, then it must be what he used to defeat Sigma's forces in space. As of right now we count space to be a Maverick free Zone."
"Vile betrayed Sigma, and went to serve Doppler. He threatened to kill me, but said Doppler wouldn't be happy with him. Then he put me into the arena, and shut the door behind me."
"This is most interesting. I will speak with you later about this. But for now...I have something important that I need to discusss." (to be continued)

"Storm Eagle? Really?! I was not aware!"
"Yes. I wanted to avenge my mentor after his death. I fought long, and hard to get this good. Now though...."
"Yes? What is it?"
"Well.....I don't know. It isn't really what I want anymore."
"To avenge your mentor's death? Why not?"
"I just feel like he had his reasons."
"Who?"
"Mega Man X. I don't blame him anymore for the death of Storm Eagle."
"What reasons would be good enough?"
"My mentor had become a Maverick. I guess you never heard this, but it was back before X and Sigma first fought."
"Really?"
"Yes. Storm Eagle was teaching me, as he had always done. One day, after talking to Sigma, I noticed a change in him. He seemed like he wasn't himself. He went crazy, and killed a couple of people. Then he fled to the airport that his forces had occupuied."
"Are you sure that's how the story goes?"
"Well, something like it anyway."
"Okay. What does that have to do with what I just asked you?"
"Oh, you mean about the air ships? Nothing. But I just thought about my mentor for a moment because the ships look just like his."
"So when will they be done?"
"Three days." ,Wind Raven said. Even though he had a beak, he smiled.
"Good. I'll be glad to hear it. It is nice to have access to Doppler's money again. I can finally go back to work."
"Well, just because our economy took a hit doesn't mean we can't bounce back.
"You worry about the economy Raven. I'll worry about the energy." ,Blast Bull said. He left Raven at the desk of his office. He had been sent to check on the progress of the air ships. And...since they all ran on liquid fuel, he needed to test his formula on a prototype. Amazing though. First, only at 47 percent efficiency, now reaching seventy three. And, in just 3 days the rest of them would all be finished. Raven could hardly wait to see them in action!

Wily was in his office gathering some last minuete programs when Castendo walked in.
"Sir, you wanted to see me?" Castendo asked
"Ah yes Casendo, I have a mission for you.. and this is your last mission" Wily said
Castendo not knowing that it would be his last trip anywhere.
"I think Dopplar hasn't acknoledged me yet Castendo and I want him eating out of the palm of my hand", Wily paused for a bit thinking how to say this
"I need you to take the invasion force I have prepared for you and I wish you to make Dopplar worship me as a god! Destroy his City if he refuses and make sure many of his civilians die and cause as many casulties as you can", Wily continued
"His city is as good as yours m'lord", With that Castendo walked out back to the docking bay
"And your head is as good as mine also My friend", Wily said under his breath
Wily walked to his shuttle and walked inside he saw BladeRunner unconsious floating on electrmagnetic bands in the air. Then Wily walked over to shuttle control panels and push in a few buttons the shuttle now aimed towards space and ready to lift off. The shuttle lifted off and was off towards the X-28 Particle beam

ElseWhere....

Catsendo had launched off towards New Dopplar Town with a full scale invasion force fleet ready to invade Dopplar Island they were a few hours away..

The 17th Unit of Maverick Hunters was already landing. The shuttle craft had opened the bay doors on the sides, so that the shock troopers could leap out the sides. Steel cables uncurled from the sides, and trained soldiers slid down them. Upon hitting the ground, they had their weapons at the ready. The warehouse was surrounded. The Hunters called to eachother, issuing oders. "Warehouse secured. The signal from Mega Man X, and a weaker version of Zero's signal have both been confirmed."
Another said, "The doors are jammed. Perhaps they are being held hostage?"
"Take formation, and ready your weapons.", their captain said. The Soldiers did as they were told.
"Remeber, use three second bursts, set weapons to minimum range, at maximum firepower."
"OPEN FIRE!"
Suddenly, inside the warehouse, Zero, IO, Wave Tortise, and Mega Man X began to panic. The crates exploded, and the doors burst open. Shock troopers fell into defensive positions to secure the opening, and provide cover for the captain. X was standing there, his arm cannon ready.
"Commander X!", the captain said.
"HUH? What are you guys doing here?", he said in surprise.
"Signas sent us to get you out. Really it has been too long since you've left. We have a shuttle waiting overhead. We must leave now!"
There was little time for greetings. The soldiers came in to help Zero up. Then they stopped when the saw Wave Tortise, and IO.
"Commander, what about these two?"
Tortise looked at X. "I still need to talk to you, but I cannot leave the island. Doppler would kill me if he found out."
X nodded. "I understand." Then he turned to the captain.
"Captain, give Tortise your com-link. We'll call you soon."
"What about him commander?" ,the captain asked.
"Take him with us. I need to question him." ,X ordered.
IO nodded, and went with them. The shuttle carrier lifted away, and they were safe. Next stop: Maverick Hunter Headquarters. (to be continued)

"Was that Ryujin X?", Mega Man X asked.
"I don't know who that is." ,Wave Tortise replied.
"Saber Wolf did. So did Metal Scorpion." ,X answered back.
"I need to ask you about Wolf.", Tortise mentioned.
"First, we need to go some place safe.", X said.

The two worked to drag their weakened companions into a warehouse. X worked quickly to block all exits with crates while Tortise tried to help IO and Zero regain their strength. When X was done, he rushed to Zero's side.
"Zero. You don't look so good.", He muttered in despair.
IO stirred. "He has been poisoned.", he moaned.
"Poisoned? Do you mean that Zero has a virus?"
"Yes And you must be Mega Man X."
"But who are you?"
"My name is IO, and it has been my mission to find you."
"How long have you been looking for me?", X asked, suddenly defensive. IO groaned, and slowly got up on his side.
"Ever since my master died at the hands of the Mavericks. My Master was in the city when the Sky Lagoon fell. She was destroyed by Sigma's evil."

"Then you know where he is?", IO asked with a glimmer of hope. X shook his head slowly. "I haven't seen him recently, but he was destroyed during the campaign of the Repliforce. Zero and I infiltrated the Ultimate Weapon, and fought Sigma to the Death. He was killed."
"Sigma is DEAD? That just can't be!"
"Yes. He is gone." Zero finally said slowly.
"You never know with Sigma,",Wave Tortise offered skeptically, "He may be dead now, but that hasn't stopped him before." X shook his head, knowing all to well that Tortise was right.
"I hate to interrupt.", Zero moaned, "But do you think I could get some help?" X, IO, and Tortise all snapped out of thought, and moved to help Zero.
"What we need is an anti-virus.", X said.
"That's easier said than done.", Tortise replied.
"I normally possess the strength to cure viruses in my own body, but perhaps I might be able to heal him with my energy?"
"Its worth a shot.", X said. Io then put his hand up.
"I'm much too weak now. Until I can recharge I'm no good to anyone." The three looked desperate for a moment.
"I'm sure a solution will present itself.", X said. He was always the optimist. (to be continued)

RX had returned to his quarters very confused after his match with Bladerunner. Nothing seemed to make sence. 2 things circled his mind.

1: Bladerunner had just been kidnaped
2: It apeared that Wily was behind it

RX knew that if he was to get to the bottom of this that his revenge would have to wait

RX: Damn..and I was so close...but Wily must come first...and the safety of BR.

RX: Don't worry Vile...I'll be back for you...soon!! And X..I'll help you too...but I have to move fast, before someone realises I'm leaving. Luckily I caught the Ion trail left by those ships, I can trace them with a good degree of acuracy. But one thing puzzles me..why was a human after Bladerunner? Well it does not matter, if he gets in my way I'll deal with him...

RX decided to call back an old friend that he had left at the hunter base while he saught his revenge.

RX: Nightshade!!

At that Nightshade teleported automatically to RX's location.

RX: Hellow old friend, I need your help, lets go.

RX ran outside the door where there was a security patrol and loads of camera's hovering about.

Bot 1: Stop! where are you going?

RX: I don't have time for this!!

RX slashed the bot in half.

His comrades looked on in shock

Bot2: What the hell are you doing!!??

RX threw off his cloak to reveal to the world who he really was.

B2: No Way!! its the maverick hunter, Ryujin X!!!

RX: No time to chat, get the hell outta my way!

B2: We'll stop you and become famous! In the name of Doppler!

The security patrol charged at RX

RX: Your already dead!

Several flashes of light were seen so fast that no-one was sure what they saw, then suddenly all of the security patrol fell to pieces as if they had been sliced apart.

Vile and Doppler (and the news world) all saw what had just happened

V: Thats impossible!!! he was infected by the sigma virus!! what is he doing here!!??

D: Who the hell is that!??

V: A dead man!

Vile ran off with a patrol of reploids.

RX dashed trough all of the security patrols in his way slashing them to pieces, then he stopped as he saw something strange, down an alley he saw what looked like Megaman X and Zero, with 2 unknown reploids.

RX: What the???

Then a security patrol spotted him and began fireing, RX flipped out of the way and continued his escape. But The hunters saw him too.

X: Was that just Ryujin X!!??

Zero and IO were barely conscious.

Z: It..looked like him..ugh..what is HE doing here?

X: I don't know, but we don't have time to worry about it, he will be the distraction we need to get past the security patrols unoticed, we'll get answers later.

RX sprinted to the coast of the island with dozens of security units in pursuit, as he reached the edge he turned and threw what looked like a nuetron bomb.

What the!!?? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

The explosion distracted them long enough for RX to engage his anti-gravity systems, he hovered across the water at great speeds leaving a trail of water lifting up behind him.
Just as he took off Vile arrived on the scene to witness his escape.

V: Damn you!!, you have not seen the last of me Ryujin X, that I promise you!!

RX looked back..

RX: Don't worry Vile, I'll be back to take care of you sooner than you think!

At that RX dashed off into the distance along with Nightshade following the ion trail to BR's location...

After Wily had finished sednindg out his orders he went back to his lab and made sure noone was around he reached behind the shelf on the far wall and flicked a switch the wall started to budge and opened to a passage way with stairs on it. Wily walked down the stairs to an empty room with only some sort of column in the middle with an energy cable attached to it. Wily walked up to a panel next to the column and pressed a few buttons on. some sort of cover over the column lifted up and there was this frail human body floating in it. The body seemed to be missing a heart. Wily then pushed a button on his metallic chest and it opened up revealing a frail heart but it wasn't the usual red it was a deep purple with purple electrical energy pumping from it. Then he closed his chest and sighed then started to laugh madly
"I am evil energy I create it........" Wily said with insanity
he picked up a comm radio and started to talk into it.
"Load the prisoner in my shuttle and lock him in electromagnetic Bands and send Castendo to my office I wish to speak to him, and prepare my shuttle for lift off to the construction site in space of X-28 partcile beam", Wily ordered
"Yessir we will get castendo and ready your shuttle and the prisoner sir", another voice said
Wily shut off the comm
"My plan will work and I will have the earth eating out my palm or I shall destroy it!" Wily said

Wily had just finished decoding the information he had just stolen from BladeRunners Mind. BladeRunner sit there in the chair looking motionless and ded but he was in suspended animation a guard came in and asked Wily
"What do you wish me to do with the prisoner Dr. Wily?" The bot asked.
"Throw him back in his cell", Wily ordered
The bot left and took the bot and threw him back into his cell.
Wily has now sent the pans and turned on the pictocom and was talking to one of his minions.
"I am sending you the complete plans of the X-28 Particle beam, complete the weapon by tomarrow afternoon I will be there to test out the weapon", Wily said
"Yessir We have the particle beam finished by the time you get here", His minion said
With that Wily switched off the comm and sat there being proud of himself........

BladeRunner awoke in some sort of computer world blackness as the eye can see but behind him was a huge blue sphere with tons of info and numbers. BladeRunner ran his hand over the sphere and relized wht this sphere was.
"This is my memory bank." BladeRunner muttered to himself.
Then when BladeRunner touched it again he saw what he thinks Wily was after he saw the plans for X-28 Particle beam BladeRunners eyes widened with fear
"He's gonna try and rebuild the partcicle beam!" BladeRunner exclaimed.
Then BladeRunner heard this Bug like crawling sound. Then off in the distance he saw Blue 6ft high looking bugs. Then BladeRunner relized these were virisus and he could see them. When the virisus got to the info area BladeRunner decided he would protect his mind. He unsheathed his Laser Blade and started to slash at the virisus but everytime he cut them in half a new one would come out of the half and they would keep on multiplying the virisus overwhelmed him and got to his memory bank. Then BladeRunner heard something crack.....then a shatter of glass then he relized his mind was broken in and wily could get what he wanted....

"How are still living wily?" BladeRunner said through gritted teeth
"I have my ways BladeRunner or should I say Dr. Cannon Strife." Wily said with ecstatic glee.
"You have something in that brilliant mind of your my friend." Wily said
"I will tell you nothing WILY!" BladeRunner shouted.
"I think you will tell me everything you know BladeRunner. everything in that little mind." Wily said
Metal wrist bands and les bands now tighten holding BladeRunner to the chair. Then 3 Lifesaver looking reploids come out but they don't have a human face to them more like a robotic face.
"Prepare the truth program." Wily ordered them
The three bots walked over to a nearby table and started to work feverently at the table. After about 20 mins they walked away from the table holding somesort of tube that has a clear blue liquid. Wily starts to laugh and then takes the liquid
"Open up BladeRunner" Wily said he forced his mouth open the liquid slid down and BladeRunner started to shaking violently then wily started to laugh

Moments after Castendo, and his fleet of ships departed, Dr. Doppler had landed on the island. In between these two things, A trio of Reploids, basically strangers, but united in a cause, freed Mega Man X from captivity. Crescent Grizzly had been taken to the island to assure the delivery of the Enigma particle Cannon. Dr. Doppler did not forget the betrayal that night in the alley though. Because of that, Vile was keeping strict watch on him now.
The parts for the Enigma had been moved into the vault where Doppler had kept the "X-System," and the parts for his most deadly Reploids. The specialists had been informed of Doppler's return...all except Wave Tortise. Doppler had also been informed of the attack on the island, and the ineffectiveness of his air force. Clearly he had been away too long. It seemed now that his plans were in jeopardy. He needed to work hard, and fast to make sure that he could get back on track.
He still had the tournament to finish. After reviewing the snail's pace with which the tournament had proceeded, Doppler had decided to step things up a bit.

Tortise ran into the warehouse. Inside, the entire place was empty. Mega Man X had plenty of places to hide...or did he?
In the center of that room was a large, rectangular structure. It looked like a makeshift cell. Wave Tortise ran over to it, and pounded on the door. "Hello? X are you in there?"
He was. In fact, he had been sitting on the floor. He got up, and looked through the slot in the door.
"Who are YOU?", he asked.
"My name is Wave Tortise. I've come here to rescue you. We've got to hurry!"
"How did you get in here? There's an impenitrab;e energy shield surrounding this place."
"I have no time to explain any of it now. I'll just say this. I helped the Meverick Hunters once before. I'm going to help them again."
"Wait, weren't you the one who went on Wolf's mission?"
"Saber Wolf? Yes. I helped him destroy the Maverick Occupied base in Venus Orbit."
"What happened?"
"I didn't want to draw attention from Sigma, so I cut ties with the Hunters. Wolf....umm, well, that's why I came here.
I came to ask you what happened to him. But right now, we've got to get you out of here. Can you blast the lock?"
X held up his arms. An odd bracelet had been placed around each of his wrists.
"Don't you think I'd have done it by now? These cuffs prevent me from accessing my weapons system. They drain my power too. It reminds me of what happened when Magna Centipede stung me with his tail."
"Okay, then stand clear. I have no choice but to do it myself."
"But wait, you've only got a specialty weapon. Water won't do it.", X replied.
"We won't know until we try!" Tortise charged up, and his fist changed into his arm cannon. He let out a yell, and blasted it. WT's cannon has a specially designed pressure release system. It is the energy realeased via psi which does the damage. So hard was the force of his cannon that it ate a hole in the door. X kicked it open, and they both ran for the exit. IO stood there holding the force field at bay.
"Hurry UP!", he yelled. X looked at Tortise, and said...
"You go first, I can run faster." Tortise agreed, and ran in between the hole in IO's barrier. X didn't know who he was, but he knew that IO was beginning to weaken. He could barely talk because he was straining so hard to fight off the beam.
"G-G-Go....N-N-NOW ehhh-kk-sss!" Tortise yelled, "X C'mon!"
With no time left, MEga Man X ran and dove headlong into IO. He wrapped his arms around IO, and tackled him to the ground with a shoulder charge. The two went flying, and tumbled to the ground. X got up, and saw IO laying on the ground. IO looked at him, and said, "At last I have finally found you!"
But then, his eyes closed and he did not move. Just as X was starting to worry about the stranger, he saw a familliar face lying next to him. "ZERO!", he yelled in suprise. "What happened?", he asked. Zero was slightly discolored because of the poison virus. Zero took his hand, and smiled. "It is good to see you again X." Then, just like IO, his head dropped to the ground, and he did not move. (to be continued)

BladeRunner's captor's ship had taken off three hours ago from dopplar Island in that time they had beaten him with electro clubs and he was as weak as a human infant they left him in the cell below the deck to rot but just as BladeRunner thought he would die down there his cell opened and bots wears some sort of a W insigna over their heart walked in with electro beaters BladeRunner couldn't think what the insigna's were because he was in too much pain the reploids lifted his limp body up and and helped to soem sort of dock in the side of a mountain
"Sir! they have brought what you wanted!" Shouted one of the reploids
"Goood my minions throw him down in the dungeon I am almost ready" said a very familiar voice over the com
As soon as that was heard the reploids dragged BladeRunner to the dungeons down below. When they opened the energy barrier to an open cell they threw his almost lifeless body in there BladeRunner just laid there starting to feel his energy returing but some sort of evil feeling energy made BladeRunner very weak and seeminly fragile. He laid there trying to forget his pain and figure out where he is and who captured him......

3 hours later

BladeRunner woke up from his light "Sleep" even though he seemed like a very much a robot he was still a bio-reploid to the sound of his energy field coming down
"The master wants to see you" said a voice.
They dragged him to a brighter room and a figure standing his back to the door
"Put him in that chair" said the figure pointing to a weird looking chair
They put him in there and then they left.
"Well well well we meet agian my very old friend" said the figure.
The figure turned around and to Bladerunners horror it was his arch enemy Dr. Albert Wily!!

"Do you know what you're suggesting?", Thunder Ram asked with intensity. "This is incredible. I can't shut down the whole city's power!"
Tortise remained adamant. "This is important, please you know how much he means to everyone. He can help us. If we release him, he will help us all go home."
"How do I know that? How could I risk my life to save him being unsure that I will be compensated. What if Doppler finds out. Do you know what he could do?"
"Don't be afraid of him. X was responsible for Doppler's fall last time. It will be no different I assure you."
"It isn't that I don't want to help. Its just...."
"What?" ,Tortise asked, obviously flustered.
"In order to power down the city, we need to do it a sector at a time. Sub-sectors first. We have to wait 10 to fifteen minutes for the power packs to cool before we set off another one. It isn't as simple as that either. We have to run the program, and do a diagnostic on each sub-sector, then power down each sub-sector on the same circuit. And finally we get to.."
"Spare me the details. We just need you to drop the power the energy shield. Do you know where it is linked?"
"I can find it. But Doppler has techs loyal to him in here. They monitor all of my work. They are going to seem suspicious of me if I power down the block that X is being kept. I think we need a plan."
"Like what?", WT asked.
"A power surge would overload the breaker, I could then trip the restart button for that block, and power would be restored. It would only show up as a flicker on the chart, and the blackout could be blamed on those pirates up there."
"How long would we have to get in?"
"Maybe ten seconds to jump through the shield. But then you be stuck inside with him. What good would that do you?"
IO joined in on the conversation. "Not if we can find a way to divert the energy flow of the shield."
"What do you mean?", both Tortise, and Ram asked him.
"I think my energy shield could merge with the energy flowing from the emitters here. If I can create a link, I can open my shield, and allow someone in...or out."
"How long could you keep this up for?", Ram asked him.
"Well, I can hold the shield around me as long as I need to. But, to open it, and close it requires a great deal of my power. I will be temporarilly weakend. I don't think I'll have but a few seconds to open it."
"That's long enough for me.",Ram said. He ended the transmission, and Tortise loked down at Zero.
"If He is our gate way, which one of us will go?"
"Zero is too weak to go. You go in.", IO added.
"Alright. I just hope this works."
True enough to Ram's words, the lights went black. The shield was gone, and IO took his position. He yelled to the Tortise, "GO NOW! You don't have time to lose!" (to be continued)

Zero had left the med center, against the Staff's orders. He had contacted Signas, but was confused as to what to do. He then decided that the best thing he COULD do was go to X.
Weak, he stumbled on his way, and eventually made it, passing out in front of the now ungaurded warehouse that held X. Odd enough, Wave Tortise, and IO happened to be standing nearby. Tortise, from his days helping the Hunters recognized him immediately. He ran over to him as fast as his little legs could take him.
"ZERO! How can this be?"
Zero, growing weaker by the poison virus in him did not say much. "Tortise? Wave Tortise?", He groaned.
"Zero what are you doing here? This place is dangerous, and you don't look well!"
"I needed to.....to get X out of here.", he said softly.
"We need to speak with him first. Do you know which building he is in?" Zero looked up at the one in front of them. He pointed, and said, "Building 13. This one right here."
"We cannot enter inside this structure. It seems to be gaurded by an incredible force shield. It looks to be strong enough to deflect any attack.",IO informed them. Tortise let out a sigh of frustration. Great! How were they going to get X out of there?
Tortise looked around for some clues. "Alright, we can't go through it. Can we go around it? Under or over?"
"That's a thought. Perhaps we might. IO tried to jump over it, but stopped short when his energy sphere ignited, and stopped him from getting fryed. "Under might be more difficult. And it looks like you can't teleport out of there either."
Zero said slowly, "Is there a way we can cut the power?"
"We'd have to fine out how the shield is connected, and take out the power couplings one at a time. We don't know how far away, or how durable they are. Besides, with those pirates up there, and the security down here, we haven't got the time. We also don't need to attract any more attention.", IO said.
Just then, Tortise got an idea. He reached for his comm-link, and dialed the secure line. One of Doppler's Operator Reps came on. "Dopp-Comm, what can I do for you today Sir?", the Rep asked, obviously aware that she was talking to a specialist. Tortise put authority into his voice. "Get me Thunder Ram. This is an emergency."

(BR-That's cool, just remember that Zero was poisoned in his last match. I haven't been posting about him lately. He was last seen in a medical center, and had to reveal his true identity to the medical staff.)

Wind Raven was the commender of Dr. Doppler's air force. But, how would it look to Dr. Doppler if he had failed to do his job? And yet, isn't that just what had happened? How could surveilance be so blind as to allow a huge fleet of ships to descend upon the island. Yet, he dare not make a move now. He stood there, on the deck of the control tower by the aero-space port. Byte stood next to him, looking on in disapproval as the great cloud of ships filled the sky.
"Doppler will not be happy when he finds out about this."
Raven turned to him, "Well, what do you want me to do about it Byte?" "You should have blown them out of the sky."
"Should have, But didn't!", Raven replied.
"And WHY NOT?! What are we paying you for?", Byte scolded.
"How am I supposed to stage an offensive with only forty-three percent of our forces completed? Not to mention the lackluster support of manpower, and the overwhelmingly small number of quallified Reploid pilots. What would you have me do? Am I to take them on with just my wings, and my buster?"
"What are you talking about?", Byte asked. Raven shook his head. "Are you a blind idiot? The money Doppler was supposed to use in building his army was redirected, or squandered. Either he, or someone close to him has drained all of the funds from the account he was using to pay me. As a result, the air force continues.... a model of entropy, and disrepair." Byte shook his head. Only now did he understand. Doppler had taken that money. It was what he was holding the tournament for. But surely he would not have been so stupid as to steal it from his own army! How else were his plans going to come to fruition? Strange. But alas, what neither of them knew was that Doppler only used the money as bait to lure Crescent Grizzly into revealing the place of the Enigma. He had yet to restore it, but this timely delay had already proven costly. Doppler's air force was grounded. It would continue to be so, until Doppler returned. Whenever that was!

BladeRunner stood there and was thinking waste many innocent lives or go with him peaefully the five minutes were up
"BladeRunner your time is up now show or I destroy this whole entire Island" Said the man on deck
BladeRunner Stood there and then made his decision the man started to fire at the building but before he could BladeRunner screamed
"STOP! I am BladeRunner hold your fire and I will come peacefully!!" Then BladeRunner shut down his disguise and his fake armor melted into his Black armor with maverick hunter insigna on him Kaiser's eyes widened he couldn't what he saw nowonder this match was tough because he fought a friend that had the same power level
"Ahhh so you are BladeRunner Dr. Wily has been looking for you.."
Just then RX shot his head towards then man Wily? RX thought he is still alive?
Then five very tough looking reploids came flying down with electromagnetic nets in their hands and put them over BladeRunner and took him up then they threw him on the deck
"Put him down below..." The human said
"Who are you...?" BladeRunner muttered
"I am the pirate Castendo and now we must leave..." Castendo said
With that those reploids threw him down below and took off towards Wily's home base.

MEANWHILE

Zero stood there dumbstruck when he heard BladeRunner was captured..he decided to contact Signas he went to the nearest place where there was reception
"Signas.. Signas can you hear me?" Zero said
"Yes I can hear you what is it "Signas said
"BladeRunner was just captured!?" Zero said
"WHAT?? damn...Zero do you know where they went" Signas said
"Not yet bu I am having it tracked now.."Zero said
"Zero I need to make some plans I will came back to you If I have decided something.. " With that signas cut the line and Zero tried to look as normal as possible..

BladeRunner and Kaiser have had been fighting for the past hour andhave started to use energy blasts Then Kaiser hit BR with a mega shot knocking him back and Kaiser smirked that looked familiar to him.
"Heh. never thought this would be challanging but it is.. I only no one person who can give me this much of a fight.. but I wish I could spare an excellent warrior but I am sorry I must win.." BladeRunner said Then he started to charge up for his particle blast attack but.. a ship interruppted and started to threatened
"Dopplar Island I am here for the robot BladeRunner he must surrender to me or I will blow this place away you have 5 mins BladeRunner before I start to turn this place to dust, oh and if any security reps try and attack I will destroy this whole entire Island.." A man on the deck said
BladeRunner stood there in shock but he must get X out but then that would mean many innocent lives would be lost it was in his hands...

IO followed Wave Tortise into the city. He was heading towards the warehouse area. This area was near the sea coast, and WT's headquarters. He didn't head back to HQ though, he wandered around the warehouses. It seemed as if he was looking for something. Suddenly Wave Tortise found himself surrounded by security.
"Excuse me, where do you think your going?", one of the security Reps asked him. Tortise shot him an evil glare.
"Do you know who I am? I'm going where I please!"
"I don't care who you are, no one gets in here.", the reps replied. Another one came over and said, "Let's see some ID." Tortise scoffed. "Listen, I'm one of Doppler's specialists. I have priority one level clearance."
One of the Reps lookd at him. "I think he's a spy."
Another said, "I think he's fighting in the tournament."
"It doesn't matter who he is... just get him out of here!", another added. Idiots! Doppler must not have told them about the specialists!
Tortise held up his arm canon, and prepared to blast them.
The Reps all aimed weapons at him. IO decided to act.
His energy trail was blue, and all that could be seen was a blue blur. He brandished his steel saber, and bisected each of the 7 gaurds that surrounded Tortise. When he was done, he phased in, and stood before him. He was adorned in impressive, gleaming black armor. (His appearance was similar to X's Shadow Armor with a little Dynamo-esque design.) Tortise stood there eyeing him, not sure what to do. IO spoke first. "Are you alright?", he asked
"Who are you?", Tortise asked.
"My name is IO. What is your name."
"Wave Tortise. Now why were you following me?"
"Do you work for Doppler?"
"Yeah, who wants to know?"
"I was told that Doppler is keeping Mega Man X here. Do you know where he is?"
"You're looking for X?", Tortise asked in shock. "So then why follow me?" IO frowned, "No one seems to know where he is. I thought you might lead me to him."
"Well, he is close by. Bit and Byte took him out of the tournament. Doppler and Vile left the island, so they are in charge."
"I need to find X. It is important to my mission.", IO said.
"I need to find X too. I have to get some answers out of him." IO nodded. "For the moment, it seems like we have the same goals. We should work together."
"And why should I trust you?", Tortise asked.
"Because I just saved your life." Tortise's eyes glowed in disapproval. "Indeed. Very well. Let's find X."

IO had searched the city for several hours. He hadn't found X, but he did find out much about the Island. Stranger though he was, no one even looked at him suspiciously. This must be because of the tournament. He decided not to sign up, for fear of attracting too much attention to himself. Posters of the great warriors lined the streets on every utility pole, or alley wall. The most famous were "Altaro," "Bomb Weavle," "Blast Dragon," "Kaiser," "Ray-zer: 09," and "Zeon." These were the ones scheduled for the final matches. One poster called them the "Sinister 6." --like something out of a comic book. IO didn't care too much about the fighters. He figured that he was stronger than them anyway. If not offensively, then defensively at least. He found himself wandering towards the rural sector of the island, outside the city. Amazing how a forest could grow on such a tiny island. It almost seemed like there were varying climate zones. Most interesing. He heard rumors of some underground mines, and thought he might check them out. Much of the area was occupied by workers though. He figured not to speak with any of them. Workers never knew anything of interest. As he passed by an office complex, he caught sight of a little fellow storming out of one of the buildings. Despite his stature, Security was backing away from him.
"Tell Wolf he better have that order delivered on time, or Doppler's gonna here about this!" ,he yelled. Doppler? This one must work for him. IO decided that this would be a good time to give the little fellow a new shadow. (to be continued)

I especially like G-man's way of hadleing Zero. I'll be back soon enough, but until then you guys go on without me, I'll look up the archives when I get bac to catch up.

Neo Tokyo: 12 Midnight

As Dr. Doppler, and Vile cruise around the slums of Neo Tokyo, thier guide, the arms dealer known as Crescent Grizzly, takes them to thier destination. A large, underground warehouse is where the parts for the enigma beam cannon are being held. The city is bursting with activity. Millions of people, and reploids race to and fro under the glow of the city's neon lights.
"Grizzly, how much further?", Doppler scolded. CG kept a brisk pace, as he led them away from the air speeder platform, and made his way into the slums. He moved fast. It was amazing to see, despite his girth, and size. His speed was meant not to lose them, but to at least frustrate them. It was doing it's job. Grizzly had picked up the pace, forcing them to break out into a full run. Vile was not happy! He began to suspect something. Grizzly wasn't leading them to the Enigma! He was leading them away form it. Or at least...he was leading them into a trap!
Just then, Grizzly ran down to the end of an alley, and slammed a locked door behind him. He was gone! Just then, a bunch or particularly mean looking Reploids came out of no where!
"Excuse me, but you two ladies are tresspassing on Green Diamond Territory.", one of the Reps said.
Vile's eyes narrowed to slits. They could be seen as a bright red glow coming out of his helmet.
"What's it to us?", Doppler asked. "Do you snivelling worms have a problem with that?
"As a matter of fact we----UGH!!" Vile interrupted him with a sucker punch to the gut. "Enough talk! YOU DIE...NOW!"
Vile seethed. His fist was met by a collective cry of, "Get them!"
...time passes...after a large series of noise, fists, weapon's going off, and explosions, Crescent Grizzly looks on stunned. The door that he was hiding behind had been blown off the hinges, and Vile was outside waiting for him. "Care to explain yourself?" ,Dr Doppler asked from outside the building.
"What? I...I...I didn't know that was going to happen..." , Grizzly said. His voice was shaky. Vile could not hold back his anger. He grabed a sharp, and nastly looking blade from his side, and gripped it hard in his right hand. Holding it facing down, he brought his arm up, and locked his elbow at 90 degrees. The blade slashed through Grizzly's eye. It shorted out, and exploded. Vile started to bring the knife around for another blow, but Doppler subdued him.
"Vile! Enough. Let that be a lesson to you Grizzly. If you cross me again, you'll lose more than an eye. No more delays. Take us to the Enigma. NOW!"
Having no choice, he led them to the secret warehouse where the parts were kept. Grizzly knew he could get his eye repaired, or replaced. Even still, he was angry that his trap had failed. Half of the money he had gotten from Doppler was used to pay those thugs. Now, it looked like he'd be fortunate to get out of this transaction with his life. He'd heard it said before, but he never felt the full scope of it until now. As he pulled himself off the ground, he muttered...."This deal is getting worse all the time."

I'm here, and I check often, I just want to wait before I jump ahead with my portion of the story. When more people post, I will continue with my own.

Signas had given him the correct location, but he did not expect to find what was there. High overhead, he could see everything. He saw the city, all the lights, and the magnificent towers. He saw the stadium, on the seacoast. He also saw a huge cloud of ships coming fast. He did not know what was going on, but he just hoped he could find Mega Man X. He decided to descend to the island, and take a look around. He might have aimed for the stadium, but he'd rather have as few know about him as possible. He powered down his powerful blue energy field when he got near the island, and just used the retros. From what he could tell, no one had spotted him. Besides, with all the ships converging on the place, what was one blip on the radar going to matter? He suspected that his visit here would go largely unnoticed...as long as he didn't do anything rash. IO landed in a portion of the city called, "Down Town." Most of the large buildings were here. He landed in an alley, and removed the jet propulsion system he had been wearing. It was what gave him the power to fly, and move so well while in the air. It was not something his masters had made, rather he himself built it. It was one of the first things he had done after he left the place of his origin. He had used all the power, and didn't know if it would be of any use to him. And since he didn't want to carry it around, he put it in a trash receptacle. He hoped no one would move it, or find it... he would deal with that later. Now, looking like himself for the first time, he set off in search of X. But where to begin?

Hard at work, during all of this, had been Doppler's eight Specialists: Wave Tortise -Thunder Ram -Razor Mantis -Metal Scorpion -Saber Wolf -Needle Porcupine -Wind Raven & -Blast Bull! Each had an area of expertise, and had toiled away in the factories, and mines which made of the Island. Tortise had made good time in building Doppler's submarines. Raven had worked extra hard to create the many air ships which made up Doppler's Air Force. Razor Mantis made the Ground Battle Mechs, which Doppler's security forces rode around the island on patrols. Everyone had a part in making the operation run smoothly. Unfortunately, they were kept seperate from each other most of the time. This fact had been gnawing away at Wave Tortise ever since he was dragged here by Doppler's goons. Tortise knew the truth. None of them wanted to be here. (Except maybe Wind Raven. He seemed to love War.) They all knew they had homes, and lives to go back to once they had done Doppler's work. He had asked them all for a favor. He must have coaxed them all the same way Tortise had been. Pushed into agreeing. Being forced to watch something you care for be destroyed, or simply perform a task. Tortise had finally gotten the chance to speak with Saber Wolf, but only because his operation coincided with Wolf's. Wolf ran the mines. He was responsible for the armor on the hulls of every ship Doppler owned. Tortise came to him to speak on business, about his submarine armor, but could not contain his joy at finally being able to speak to his friend again.
"Saber Wolf, May I come in?",he asked outside his door. He was inside Wolf's office complex, near the mines. Wolf bade him to enter. "DO come in. What can I do for you?"
"Well, business first. I need more armor plates shipped to the seaport by 10 o'clock tommorow. Can you produce these figures?" He held up a data pad. Wolf scanned it. "Hmmm. Not good, not good!" Tortise felt uneasy. "What is it?"
"Well,",Wolf began," We've been pushing the boys hard down there. The reserves are full down there. We have enough material, but our workers are in need of some rest. Besides. We're point Oh-two-seven hours ahead of schedule! I think that calls for merit."
"It does, but this is what I need to stay on the schedule that Doppler gave me."
"Well, I'll see what I can do.",Wolf murmured. "Anything else?" Wave Tortise looked a little taken back by Wolf's all business nature. "Wolf. I have a question for you. What happened to you?"
"What do you mean?", he asked...confused.
"I mean, after our mission with the Maverick Hunters. I went back to my business, and you went on another mision. The last I heard, you were leaving for Mars. Now I find you here, on Doppler's Island Base?! What things happend on Mars? You've changed!" Tortise had a clear memory of the past, where as Saber Wolf did not. Doppler tried to take those memories from him. He didn't want Wolf to remember his past life, for fear he would turn against him. Tortise figured that the same must be true with Metal Scorpion. Doppler had rebuilt them both. They must not remember anything! "I'm not sure what you mean. I have been here my entire life. I have always worked for Doppler."
"And how long is that?", Tortise asked with a cursed tone.
"I....uhh...", Wolf Hesitated. "I...I can't remember. It must have been so long ago that I've forgotten. Now listen, I do not have time for your stories little one. Go back to work, and leave me out of this!"
"We're machines Wolf! For goodnes sake! We do not forget anything! I remember every moment of my life from the time I first watched my Maker put the finishing touches on me. I remember everything, all the way until now! Why can't you remember me? I was your best friend!"
"Hmm. I'm sorry, but I barely know you. Will you please go back to work now? Your making it harder on yourself. Please, go now...before I tell Doppler's security bots that you're delusional. You think they'll take too kindly to that? Might even think you're going Maverick!"
"Alright..fine. I'm sorry I asked you. Deliver the armor by ten o'clock, is that clear?" Wolf shook his head in pity.
"Yes, fine...I'll see what I can do." As Tortise left the room, Wolf muttered to himself. "Poor fool.", he said. Meanwhile, Tortise stormed off upset. "It's obvious that I won't get the answers here! But I know who else has them!", He said. (To be continued)

Doppler had been gone for a few days already. His last message home was that he was close to getting the Enigma. It turned out that the Grizzly Arms Dealer only knew how to find it. He sold weapons AND information. Doppler was working his way toward the Enigma. Crescent Grizzly had to guide them to it, because he did not want them to try and kill him for it. He feared everyone, and was short on trust.

Meanwhile, Mega Man X as much as rotted away in his holding cell, unaware that his friend Zero had taken ill. Zero had been infected with a minor type of Virus. It amounted to what Humans called poison. Because actual poison damages living cells, and eventually can break up, or destroy the body's systems, it would have no affect on a Reploid's body. Reploids were not made of flesh, and bone. But....Reploids still had systems, and they could still be damaged. The bite Zero took flooded his body with a corrosive energy field. His body, and armor had all turned a pale green. Except for the pieces of the costume he wore, Zero was literally turning green! The costume parts were not part of his actual body, and not connected, thus they were not affected. Zero had been taken into a room alone with a medical Reploid.
They were more mechanics than doctors, but treatment is still treatment. The doc's name was ALT.
"What happened here? You took a nasty bite!", he said in a kind tone. Zero moaned in pain. It was interesting to note that the extra armor he wore protected him from the brunt of the blow. "That stupid Salamander...ugh!", Zero felt weak.
"You got him good. I saw your match, but you need to lie still. You may not like this, but we'll have to take this armor off of you!"
"No, wait...how come?!", Zero groaned.
"It is contaminated with the bulk of this toxin. His bite released a cloud of paralyzing, burning energy. It stuns a Reploid, and then targets the mobility system. Very clever strain of Virus."
"Am I infected?"
"Only slightly. You'll be fine! It isn't like the Sigma Virus or anything. You just need to rest. Here! Our terminal will help drain the poison virus from your system. Lie back, and rest."
Zero usually allowed himself to trust no one, but his special 00 class unit, (or X) in the field. Here though, in this isolated chamber, he felt comfortable enough to follow the Doc's orders. He removed the armor parts, and let the doc carry them away.
"You look familliar. Do I know you from somewhere?" ,ALT asked him warilly. "Tell you what. If you haven't...good! If you have, then keep it a secret." ALT shook his head. "I see! Very well then. There is such a thing as doctor-patient confidence. Take your rest. I will return soon enough!"
He left Zero alone, and plugged into the "de-toxifier." Zero, feeling no threat, closed his eyes, and went to sleep.

"Wellllllcome Reploids as you have been waiting for the battle of the year is about to commence the two power houses one of them being the Reploid Kaiser he forced out a world high of 100,000 of enrgy untis worth of energy! and the the other power maniac Altarooo! He also put an out put of 100,00 energy untis worth of energy this battle has been long anticipated for and now you have it" A commenter on the arena floor rambled on
but that was all Altaro listened to before he blocked the rambling reploid out he walked out on to the arena getting a long standing ovation and Kaiser also got the same praise when he walked on.
They stood across each other in relaxed poses both of them secretly prepared for the long fight ahead thyey looked each other in the eyes and they were both silent when the ref said
"Ready" The both got into a fighting stance then when the ref said go they dashed for each other and the fight started......

MeanWhile

"Castendo sir we are ready for an capuring force should we act now?" a reploid said
"No not yet... let them center on the fight now then we will act when the security is less dangerous..then we shall strike.."

MeanWhile Dr. Albert Wily Watched gleefully as his long anticipated plan commenced he had long wanted to control the world and this time he will accomplish his wants.. with that thought he laughed like the madman he is.."Soon BladeRunner soon you will help me get what I need to get what I want my old...Friend.."
