The foal was coming, fast... The mare pushed and pushed, draining effort from her weak body. A tiny hoof appears yet it is a back hoof. Fire's Whisper squeals in terror and realizes the foal is being born rear first. She pushes faster knowing the foal must get out or it will suffocate. She squeals and groans one last time and finally the tiny filly lay on the earth. Mare being older, is having a hard time.
