She pushes and pushes but all the comes out from her efforts is one tiny foreleg. She knows if she doesn't get the filly out in time it will suffocate. She pushes even harder and her eyes roll back into her head and she becomes dangerously close to death. She pushes harder and finally the bundle is out of her. She heaves herself to her feet with a tremdous effort. She pulls the birthsack away and licks a tiny wet filly. Her own body trembling from the effort. Moments later the mare passes out into blackness trying to escape the pain that has overtaken her body. Tiny filly lay on the ground and shakes from the cold. She squeals seeing her and the poor condition. The filly doesn't even flinch at the shrill squeal. She snorts and whinnies her ears don't even flick. "Andor! She's deaf..." The mare breaks down sobbing when she notices the filly's eyes. The filly is also blind.
