I loved Dave and Maddie's banter and the offbeat eps they used to do. But looking back, I think The X-Files and in particular, Mulder and Scully's relationship has much more depth than Dave and Masddie's.

The reason Moonlighting had such a short run was due to behnd the scenes problems with cast and crew. I don't know if it was refected in its airings in other cpountries since the shows may have been seen on a delayed basis for you. But I remember how, week after week we wouldn't know if we would get a new episode or not. The press was full of stories about the show's troubles. There were so many problems with that show that the cast would tape special segments to tell us that there was no new episode ready to air yet so we were getting another rerun. The segments were always entertaining though!

But behind the scenes the show was a big mess and that's what killed it.
