1) I don't get the impression people think that, except in the case that he comes back like Sc did, and be in a coma or something (see my spoiler board post on ep 14). I think he'll come back to the xfiles in some capacity, Kersh looks like he's going to be coming back strong, which is the impression I get, that once M returns we'll have lots of myth eps with AK and MC and so on. I don't have a worry about this idea....maybe they'll fire M&S at the end of the season, so they can walk off into the sunset with Superbaby and let JD and his new female partner that he has a platonic relationship with take over the xf.
2 and 3) 'Cause we love Doggett! (that's for you IG ;) I think people are saying this because they are enjoying the stories w/out DD/FM, *and they're just being silly.* IG, you don't have to worry that people don't want FM back, it's just that some people who were worried about how the new character would work out were pleasantly surprised...and 1013 has shown that the show can work without M&S, by which I don't mean I want it to go on with only one of them, just that they can even *both* be gone and JD's 'da man' so we'll still like it if he's on it.
