Tag-along Scully seems to be the prevailing theme of S7 and it bounces on my nerves too. I guess after all she's been through, she's lost some of her skepticism. Which is fine (even though I'm a skeptic myself), but that doesn't mean that she can't be a participating member of the team. I want Scully to be right once in a while. I want Scully to deduce the outcome once in a while. Not only because she's smart and deserves it, but also because it would make the show even more interesting.

Someone made a comment about how it would have been priceless if the one time Mulder was wrong was when he shoved The Amazing Maleeni out of his wheelchair. The look on Mulder's face, if he'd erred and had actually dislodged an amputee from his wheelchair, would have made up for all the "rights" he's egoed his way through lately. Mulder's great, but I'd love nothing better than to see him majorly biff just once this season.

:-) SFP
