Subject: Scully saving Mulder

Does anybody else feel that CC is getting a bit carried away with the "gender role reversal" this season? Seems like we've seen Scully saving Mulder in virtually every ep, whereas he hardly ever gets to play the hero.
Scully save Mulder's life and sanity (as well as saving him from a fate worse than death — marriage to Fowley) during the events of "The Sixth Extinction/Amor Fati". Scully saved Mulder from the zombies in "Millennium". She saved him from the snakes in "Signs and Wonders".
Mulder almost had a chance to return the favor in "Orison", but Scully saved herself before her partner could take his shot.
I'm not saying I expect Scully to be a damsel in distress and Mulder her white knight riding to the rescue in every single episode. But it seems like past seasons have had a more even balance. Either they had a mix of episodes where he rescued her and she rescued him (i.e. Scully saved Mulder in "Triangle"; Mulder saved Scully in "Milagro") or they sort of rescued each other (i.e. "Field Trip" and "The Ghosts Who Saved Christmas").
However, if we're going to continue to the trend of Scully saving Mulder's ass in virtually every episode, could he at least remember to reward her properly, like he did in "Millennium"?
