Subject: One of my favourites too

At first, I was a bit worried that the subject matter was too silly, even for an X File. But, as the story unfolded it was irresistible. I really hoped that either Mulder or Scully would get a chance at the three wishes, and I wasn't disappointed.

The actress who played the genie was very good and she made the part much more lively than it might have been. Those brothers were so ridiculous. " A gold plated wheelchair". I have never seen Scully look so excited and I loved how she painted the invisible man and treated him like a special pet. I loved how she didn't want to leave the corpse and Mulder wore an expression that seemed to say "This is so fulfilling for Scully, to have such good evidence. I haven't the heart to take her away" He looked really indulgently at her. Cute.

I also loved her saying 'Bye' to the invisible man, and the "Ohh!" moment that cvl described. It was lovely to see Mulder giving the genie her freedom in an altruistic way. He's such a good guy!

One of my favourite bits was when Scully was introduced to the mouthless man and she couldn't stop herself shrieking! Then she quickly corrected herself "Hello, nice to meet you" It was interesting that Scully is invited round to Mulder's just for an evening watching videos. We haven't seen them doing too much of that in the past. It's obviously become an easier thing than it used to be, to socialise in their spare time.

Good episode. I needed something to raise my spirits after 'Fight Club', I can tell you. :-)
