I do like the idea of the monster's POV but I just didn't like this story or Rob. We got to see a bit of how Donnie Pfaster ticks, for example, and that was far more gripping. I don't think the monster has to have any good qualities if he is the main focus. Maybe an hour of pure evil would have been truly scary to watch.

I agree with your point Sig that VG takes chances and it's good that he does try to do different things even if not all of us feel they work all the time. You should see his latest Season 8 effort! It was quite strange!
