...a big hug here would have been much more meaningful? I'm appalled to hear that the kiss moment was a ratings gimmick! Did this episode get flagged beforehand then, that M & S touched lips? If you look at it from one angle, it was totally spontaneous and pleasant, but looking at it from the point of view of their history - it was the *least* spontaneous kiss in the world! It lasted too long to be casual and friendly, yet was too chaste to be a lovers' kiss. I was disappointed that CC made them even try.

Frank Black's hair was suddenly very white is what I noticed. We only saw the first season of 'Millennium' in the UK and even that was cut short before the end, I think. But Frank had very dark hair. I wonder whether LH was dyeing it and then he got bored? I liked how when Mulder asked him to help their investigation, he just said "No thanks". Good answer, Frank. Then he relented, as we knew he would. OK - question for you: why didn't Mulder have his phone on him when he was caught in the circle of salt? I know it's an easy way out of trouble these days, in films and television, but M&S are known for their cell phone use. They were the first big show to make use of the technology. But, we needed jeopardy and we got jeopardy. Poor Mulder - it wasn't a case for him of 'If you've seen one monster, you've seen them all'. He was scared!
