It wouldn't make my list of favorites by far but I thought it was an interesting X-File, very well acted and photographed with a dark creepy mood and I can never understand why it gets put down so much. Hey I like Chinga! Well I liked the Mulder and Scully phone stuff a lot (Mulder and his crazy pencils) and I liked Scully's scenes with the sheriff. But I thought Stephen King's doll story was very poor and he should have come up with something better.

It doesn't look like too many people were suprised by Scully's pregnancy revelation. That's a hard thing to keep a secret! I wsn't tolly surprisd either and part of that was the stupid Official Fox site itself that indicated that Scully suffered from vertigo and that made everyone jump to a pregnancy conclusion. If CC wanted to keep it a big secret why was Fox allowed to print that? I was rather suprised watching the ep that it turned out that way though. I did see some posts over at Fox after it aired on Sky from Brits who seemed totally surprised. don't know how can could keep from finding out if they visited that message board on any regular basis.

So Sky shows a lot of scenes in their trailers? I hate when I see films in the theater and they have these long trailers where they basically tell you what happens in the entire movie. What's the point of going to see it after that? We just had our first trailer for season 8 on tv during Sunday's rerun of Closure. It was extremely vague and fast with shots going by very quickly. That's a good way to make a trailer. It looked exciting!

There's an interesting thread Stardoe started over on the Mulder and Scully board you might want to check out egarding Scully's pregnancy and whether it's too much of a soap opera cliche. I know that board may be too shippy for you but the question was posed to bring noromos into the discussion so you might like to take a look!

I agree DD's two eps were very differnet. I'm really curious to see what he will come up with in Season 8. He's supposedly going to contribute more as a writer. I'd love to see a serious dramatic episode from him.

Thanks for the site address.
det, still in one piece ;-)

PS Will you still be able to come online when you are at uni?
