Subject: Would Scully have followed the person in the hat if it was Mulder?

Just another thought about that--she didn't go to England with him as ususal. So I have to ask whether she would have followed the character in the hat if it had been a man or Mulder? By putting a woman in the hat, I think it aroused her CURIOSITY enough that she followed her.

The temple vision--I wonder if the serenity of the setting allowed her to totally clear her mind and reflect inwardly--letting her mind go it's own way. I had a chance to be in a Bhuddist shrine when I was in Hawaii a long time ago. What struck me was the *quiet--serenity--peace* in there. I could see a place like this being a wonderful place to go and just "think." The end image of Daniel--showing his black heart (at least on my tv) told her he was dying of something worse than what he was hospitalized for. But I also interpreted the black heart as being symbolic of him not being healthy for her to be with.

I guess I liked this episode because it does remind me to slow down my pace--gets pretty hectic--more than I like sometimes!
