as well as the other faces in his office--the funny part is that many of his workers think he is a little strange. To have him standing in an office talking to an empty chair was too funny for words!! Probably a good thing that this sort of thing doesn't really happen (although it sounds like something that would happen to me.)

I'm just glad that the dialogue is as clean as it is--I can turn on other stations if I want to listen to trashy language. It is also fun to hear dialogue that contains words with more than 2 syllables and a vocabulary that is at or above a high school/college level. (I'm not trying to be a snob--it is just frustrating for me to listen to how the English language is being misused.)

I agree with you in that I don't think Mulder would use the *term* loosely and certainly not in mixed company. With his Oxford education, I think we can expect him to have a large enough vocabulary that would keep him from having to depend on using this sort of language.
