I don't think the writers visit the set much and this was mainly a second unit shoot. Which means it was primarily directed by the first Assistant Director rather then the hed director. We took most of our cues from Barry Martin, the First AD. He was really nice. Much to our surprise he popped up in a cameo role in the ep Hollywood AD. He was the director for the fake Muldr and Scully movie you se with the megaphone. We did take some direction from Paul Shaprio (the ep director) a bit the seond day which was the day DD And GA were there. Both DD and GA said a little speech to the fans thanking us for coming and helping out. DD thanked us for fighting so well. We were really good. Too bad most of it was cut.

The only other people who were there you might know were both of DD's standins and one of GA's. You saw one of DD's in the ep Fight Club playing the other Mulder who go beat up in the beginning.

Oh and we saw Tex Cobb, and The Van Daminator (maybe you're familiar with him!) and Kathy Griffin from the ep. All of the scenes in the last segment that took places in the fight arena with the crowd we were there to watch and worked on. We shot for two very LONG days.
We all had so much fun though. It was a great experience and we couldn't believe we were working on an episode with DD and GA!
I can give you my autogrph but there'll be a small fee. ;-)
