I'm not against DD, just the star system. Weather one is a teacher or factory worker or plumber or whatever, your life is not the life of a Hollywood star. They paid their dues getting there but once there, don't even tell me its hard. You get to sit in a trailer with all kinds of people taking care of what you want, etc. I'm against the star system, not DD in particular. He has done an excellent job and should be comended (sp?).

As someone who is working class and comes from a working class family, it pisses me off to hear stars complain. I wish all of us could have 6 week vacations every year like they do in Europe but the reality is we gotta work! My dad has worked 50 to 60 hours a week for the last 40 years and he still had time for his kids, he took us to the movies, ball games, hiking, etc. And he earned enough to put his kids through college. He can't say "I need months off' unless he shows he's hurt. This is my point. DD or any "star" should do my dad's job for awhile and then run crying back to their on set trailer.

Fox does suck big time. They cancel everything in sight if its not a huge success. I'm not hopeful for Lone Gunmen. They insisted on an S8, now I'm a bit interested in an S8 with the cliffhanger, but I think they are beating a dead horse. I don't know if Carter has a plan or is just going along, but he should have an ending to the series that he wroks towards and when he gets there say, "here Fox thats it!" But Carter may be like DD or anyone else, take the deal cause you make not be working tomorrow.
