Batgirl, you are just like Scully in "Je souhaite". She knew that she saw the invisible guy and just because she no longer had him she started questioning if she ever saw it. That being so I feel that I must answer the same way Mulder did: "OOOOOOOOOH!!!"

What do mean "...MAYBE"!? Is there still any doubt in your mind that the chip cured Scully?! It is SOOOOOO obvious that it did!!! Am I going to have to pry it out of you or what?! (I'm up for it you know, I have a whole 6 months to do it ;-) )

If I'm not mistaken, you're saying that CSM and the Syndicate are doing God's work since they are the ones that made the chip. That's kind of a freaky idea, but if you say so, it's fine by me! ;-)

I will say this though, I don't see any "means that were provided" so that Dana could have the chip implanted, because as far as I'm concerned CSM gave her a cancer he had the cure for all along and waited until the last minute to give her the cure by using Mulder as a messenger boy. I don't see anything special about the whole situation, divine or paranormal, that would make me think that there was a higher power at work.

As for the Scully's recaptured faith I've always found that it was "half-assed". It never looked to me like it really took her over and made her see life in a whole new light. It only looked like she got it back only as a means of protecting herself whenever something unexplained happened to her. I still beleive that the reason for that was that even if part of her thought the praying helped, a bigger part of her knew it was the chip that did the trick and that is why I think that she wasn't overtaken by he newfound faith like she would have been if she had truly beleived God had saved her.

I guess I'm being a little d..., I mean a little devil ;-) , aren't I? You've tried to explain the whole thing to this blasphemer and I still didn't get it, care to try again? ;-)
