Maybe the chip *did* heal Scully, but did it ever occur to you the *chip* was *God's* way of healing her? That He provided the means by letting Mulder get the chip from CSM? Not all gifts from God come from claps of thunder, bolts of lightning, and parting of seas. :-) I truly believe Scully's faith *was* restored. But she is not going to dump her scientific personality either. She is still going to look for the scientific explanation first, only difference is she is now aware that Divine Intervention does not always occur in the paranormal manner, although it sometimes can.
