Giant Fish! (The problem catching giant fish is finding where they are!) Actually, I wish we had some sort of a mysterious aquatic creature living in one of the many lakes around here! Then maybe they could do an XFile on that! Some of our lakes have really deep spots--60 ft and deeper so who knows what might be lurking down there! The lakes are all made by glaciers so maybe there's hope for something really creepy!

Glad you ran into what's called "Minnesota Nice." Not to say that there aren't any jerks around but the majority of people up here seem to be just nice, decent, hard working people. I think that is true for almost every state we've traveled in. We've been to San Diego and also visited my sister who lived in Cathedral City at that time. Nice people in both places!

I have always wondered how M&S could run and actually CATCH anybody with the shoes they wear (leather shoes usually have leather bottoms--slippery to run in), dress clothes and trenchcoats. Fun to watch though--doesn't matter if they have sweats on or dress clothes. Have we ever seen Scully run in an evening gown??? (For more than a couple of feet anyhow???)

I don't think that pregnant women can be discriminated against--just being pregnant used to mean that you had to quit working. I know all that changed in the late 70's. I hope that Scully will be allowed to work as long as she wants which is what usually happens in real life! Could make life interesting--she certianly wasn't feeling good--fainting, etc. to start out her pregnancy. She has been sick and thrown up on previous episodes--thinking of the one with the 'Kindred.' Maybe she will have morning sickness for a while--poor thing if she does! Glad I never had that to deal with.
