I still think, despite the crop circle thingy thing she found in the papers, wasn't it Daniel's medical reports (with his name on it) that fell out of the folder that was supposed to contain the autopsy results? I mean, Daniel's labs as well as the crop circle thingy were in the autopsy folder.

Isn't that how she found out that Daniel was alive and lying just a few yards away? I think the crop circle thingy being in there was to serve as a visual link to Mulder, who, of course, had sent her to the hospital to pick up the results in the first place AND who sent her to whatshername, the new age babe. It was Mulder, really, who set the whole thing in motion by asking her to do those things for him - or was it Scully herself who set all this in motion by refusing to go to England with him for the weekend, thus making it possible for her to run these errands for him?

If she had gone with him, someone else would have picked up the results - and if they had dropped it or not, then would be immaterial as far as Scully would be - and Scully would not have met the new age woman just when she was in the "right place" to do so after reuniting (for lack of a better word) with Daniel...

Things to cogitate...
