Subject: About that supposed Maleeni hand hold.

I thought Amazing Maleeni was a good show. Really good mystery. Nice interaction between M and S. Loved Mulder's chagrin after he found out that the banky brother had no legs. He was so embarrassed. Who was the person who reckoned they held hands as they walked out of the banky brother's office? Scullystar???.......well I watched that over and over. I peered and scrutinized and at first watch one could easily think that they were holding hands. However on closer viewing it looks like Mulder puts his hand[s] in his pocket[s] after wiping his face at his shameful mistake. Then as they keep walking and keep talking it looks as though he takes his hand from his pocket as he says "What's your point?" and at that stage they begin to smile and it does look like there may be some hand touching if not hand holding. They do look like they are swinging their hands back and forth slightly. But I think the mystery still remains.

I thought it was one of the few recent eps that really had us guessing. I had skimmed the transcript but not read it thoroughly and so didn't know exactly what was happening. It was fun to try and work out what was going on. My hubby watched some of it and said it was a really good and clever show. I agree. In recent seasons we have had too much spoon feeding as far as the mystery of the plot goes. The explanations have been really overdone. Maleeni had a tinge of old XF even though it was a lighter ep.

Oh and btw, I can do the arm trick. Easy peasy Japanesy.
