I just watched this ep tonight and woo hoo.I loved it. Very spooky and scary and I got a nice surprise at the end to know that the goody was really the baddy. I was sure that the girl's father was the father of the baby. I didn't understand when the girl said to Scully that her father saved her but of course at the end I did. I thought Mulder's revelation about the goody was just a red herring.I hadn't read the transcript to this, only the bit where Enoch had Scully's hand in the snake box. [I was looking for shipper stuff. Yeah I admit it. ]Bet she had to go and change her undies after that. I miss that dark, creepy weird stuff.This show moved fast too which was kind of a nice change. No dilly dallying around. I think it was quite X Filey and as with last week's Maleeni also had that touch of old XF. A good mystery plus the creepy factor. Yes I liked it. I am liking S7 shows much better because I know there is no shippiness in them so I am not disappointed about that. I am in noromo mode and it is amazing how much more enhanced the other aspects of the show are from that perspective. I'm just a happy little XF vegemite at the moment.

But I am outraged about one thing. On the trailer for next week what do you think they have on there? Scully saying "Mulder your Mum's dead." Well there goes the big surprise for the whole show. Did they do this in America or is it only the idiots here who have decided to ruin the pleasure of being shocked for everybody? And I suppose next week the trailer for Closure will have someone saying "Samantha is ........(whatever she is)" [I'm pretending not to know. I forgive you Lana.] Don't these people believe in the pleasure of surprise any more? Geez!

Well I just thought I would share my thoughts on my latest viewed ep after all this time.
