I wondered that same thing--I thought he was angry but then I got the feeling he was more disappointed that she ran off without him. I got the feeling that since she was his partner, he felt he needed to be there to cover her back. Also, I think he was probably worried sick--didn't know how to act. When he was in Skinner's office and said that they might never see her or get her back, I felt that he was also thinking of Samantha and that CSM had been involved with that whole story. I really think that Mulder is afraid of losing the only person left in his life that he really cares about. The problem is that he doesn't seem to know how to let Scully know how much he feels.

I still wonder if he can predict what CSM is going to do? I also wonder if maybe the brain surgery CSM had was to let CSM know what Mulder was thinking. SO the burning question again (sorry) is just what did they do to CSM's brain? Did they put a receptor in that was supposed to read Mulder's thoughts? If so, I don't feel sorry for CSM--I had said earlier that I hoped he would end up with a brain abcess. Inflamation is close enough, I guess, unless CSM is lying again to make people feel sorry for him.

Question-- is "En Ami" the title for this episode? Our paper had TITILE which makes no sense! Also, for those who speak the language--could somebody please translate for one whose only foreign language is Latin (from dark ages high school days)? Thanks!
