I too thought that the looks on their faces after the kiss, especially Mulder's, were of disappointment. But others talked me out of it . It is a good perspective and worthy of note. But I personally prefer to think that they do have a spark and that it will ignite at the right moment. I am disappointed that we havent seen any gradual casual touching as islandgirl has pointed out so many times. I am with her one hunderd percent on that.

This afternoon I had a relvelation. I was watching "The Ghost and Mrs Muir" that wondeful 60's/70's show that I have loved forever. So funny and yet poignantly sad. I thought this arv, as Captain Gregg gazed most smittenly at Mrs Muir, how much like Mulder and Scully these two are. They are obviously madly in love but due to whatever circumstances, they can never be together. Sometimes I swear M and S act like they are in different dimensions like the Captain and Mrs Muir. CG and MM are in love but it is only an emotional love and can never be a physical one. It seems that the only time Captain Gregg and Mrs Muir ever touched and almost kissed was in her dream [if it was really a dream ] and that is so with M and S in Triangle. I know they kissed in Millenium but it was a pretty chaste affair. But as I watched the Ghost and Mrs Muir this arv I couldn't help but think how similar they are to M an S. The only difference is that M and S CAN touch and kiss and consumate their love but they just keep acting like as if they can't, like the Ghost and Mrs Muir.

Ps I just love the expressions on the Captain's face. What a fine actor that man is [was??][ Is he still alive?]
