Subject: What now of Scully's faith in God?

I have always felt that Mulder never got the credit he deserved for saving Scully's life in the first eps of S5, when he got the chip that they put in her neck to cure her cancer.

Sure it didn't work right away and it would have been pretty "jerky" of Mulder to gloat about the fact that it was thanks to him that Dana was still alive, but the fact remains that it was thanks to him that she survived. I did understand why he didn't say anything, because all that really mattered to him was that Dana was cured. It didn't matter if she was cured because of God or the chip.

As a result of her illness, Dana got her faith in God back and I think that she attributed her miraculous recovery to that faith and not the chip.

All of this now leaves me to wonder, what will happen to her faith now? After seeing "En Ami", it is now clear that the chip DID cure her and that it had nothing to do with her praying or anything else she did with the preist. Is Dana going to go back to being a scientist that only beleives in the science of things or will she still keep her faith?

Just something that makes me go hmmmmmm? :-)
