There have been times when my opinion has changed after another viewing. :-) You gave me some good things to think about. As I said to kande above, I did like the monster story somewhat. I'll see if some of your other points work for me when I watch again.

I think your Scully throwing pencils would have been a GREAT idea! Showing Scully displaying one of Mulder's character traits in his absence! Wh can't the writers think of these things!
