You said you were woried about losing power. Maybe you did lose power and some unknown force created a quickie alternate version of the ep!

Chantara was ok. Just not that convincing. I loved the cop, Wetzel though. He seemed very true to life to me.

I think Mulder was smiling because of the cameras. he ws hoping to get some proof of his paranormal work on record for the world to see. I don't know why he hasn't bought his own camcorder. He could have had proof years ago! But I'm certainly not going to complain about a smiling Mulder! :-)

I had thought of that earlier that there might ber a scne with the camaraman asking M&S about their partnership. But once the show started I didn't think of it.As I say I harldy ever watch Cops but I don't think they interview anyone. I think they just film and follow along and get whatever they get on tape.

This ep was actaully 'shippier' (if you can call it that) than I had heard. I mean we had all those scenes early on with Scully dragging Mulder by the arm (I wonder if he likes her manhandling him! ;-). She's never done that before. Them going off to talk alone made them seem more perosonal toward each other right away than any of the other cops did. It was clear were shown to be partners while the others weren't. I liked us seeing them talking on the QT even though we could hear them. So we did get to see a bit of their personal relationship. Well, not like we haven't before! We eavesdrop on them all the time. But this was from a new angle. Very interesting.
