I wrote this earlier, but YES there has been a disgusting lack of imagination this season in terms of XF locations, but I don't think you can argue lack of imagination in X-Cops. What's that? Oh, right. You didn't like this episode.

I actually wasn't all that wild for "Three of a Kind" last season. The best thing about it was that it continued the unifying butt-slapping theme in season 6. I wonder what the theme is this year? Oh, right. California locations.
