Hi, YCXP. Sorry Mother Nature has been so uncooperative. Hey, it could be worse. We've had snow and freezing rain lately where I live.

I think the reason it couldn't have been Jeffrey Spender who led Mulder to the children and Samantha was because he would not be a walk in. Because the insinuation was that Samantha was one of the walk ins now it had to be another who led him to her.

The reason there was no body was, again, because Samantha had become a walk in. The way the father of the missing boy explained walk ins, their physical bodies are transformed by the other walk ins to pure energy in order to help them escape the horrible and painful death fated for them. The feeling I get from this is that Samantha would have been taken back to be experimented on more by CSM and would eventually have died a painful death by those experiments. The walk ins, while they could not prevent her "death" could at least spare her the pain and terror.

Hope this helps.

DRH :-)
