Subject: It's The Great Deluge (comments and observations of "closure")

Mother nature is now officially on my s#%t list (sorry for the cursing but I'm pissed). Now she has made me mad before, but today she went to far, she messed with the X-Files. Now anyone who lives in california knows (especially up north were I reside) that the weather has been terrible to say the least. So this made my reception (and recording) poor at best for the first 35 or so minutes (at least she let up for the end). Oh well, enough ranting, on to critiqueing(sp?).

First off, I have mixed feelings about the young SM and JS hand prints together. Young Spender must have been pretty dense not to have put 2 and 2 together or at the very least never saying something harmless that would have made FM a little curious about a young girl named Samantha living with his family for awhile. Even if it was only his dads place and he came to visit every now and then.

Second, when DS told FM that she had talked CSM, why did she leave out the fact that he was waiting in her place when she got home?

Third, why'd it have to be whats his name son as his guide? I wish it would have been Spender (or maybe he's not dead).

And last, why couldn't there have been a body. The ending was beautifully done, but throw in a funeral and grave side scene (he has to bury his mom anyway) and there wouldn't be a dry eye in the house. Maybe I just don't buy into this whole turned into pure energy nonsense.

That's about it for now (better send this before the phones or power go out). RIP to all the great people the world has lost over the last week (too many to name). :(
