I may be wrong on that. I haven't watched Closure again so maybe the second time, I'll be more taken in by the diary scene. I guess at that point, I wasn't fully convinced that they weren't on some CSM-concocted wild-goose chase. For a while, I was convinced that CSM had hired Harold (is that his name--drawing a blank) to lead Mulder astray and the diary was part of CSM's big plan. Now that I know it's really true about Samantha, I might watch that scene differently.

Can't say I'll ever love it more than the sunflower scene though!
