Subject: The note business- take two

Okay... let me try that again. ;)

So, I think that there is no connection with Santa and the walk-ins. This is the way I understand it:

All the souls that we saw, those were *not* all people who had been walk-ined. We know this firstly because we saw Mrs. Mulder's soul, and secondly because we saw all the souls of the little kids who were burried in Santa's backyard (kids whose skeletons were found, so they weren't walk-ined).

So since not all of Santa's victims were walk-ined, I think we can assume that not all walk-ins are Santa's victims, so we don't have a connection. Except of course, that a few of Santa's victims were walk-ined (Amber lynn and the son of the lady in jail).

So what in the world is the deal with the note???

The only four specific walk-in cases we heard about were the son of jail lady, Amber, Samantha, and the son of the psychic. The only times those "nobody whatever's santa claus" notes were found were in the two cases where the kids were about to be taken by him (Amber who he had a video of, and we can assume jail lady's son). There was no note involved with Samantha (the nurse didn't mention it) or the psychic's son (he didn't mention it, right?).

Correct me if I'm wrong with any of these facts. If I have these facts right, then the notes aren't connected with all the walkins, but just in the cases where Santa is involved. Therefore, the notes have to do with Santa and not the walkins (additional support for this comes from the fact that Mulder wrote a note from Mrs. M, and there was no death connected with that, nor was Mrs. M a walkin).

In addition to this lack of connection, what would be the *purpose* of the old souls, or walkins, possessing the parents to write these notes. They can take/save the kids without this, and it seems conflicting that they would do such good and such harm (getting parents in jail for life, or death penalty) at the same time.

So, I'm baffled. I don't see how Santa could cause this note writing, and how in both cases, it would occur right before the walk-in.

Maybe these are replicas of the notes Santa really does leave behind when he abducts kids. If he really does leave these notes behind, maybe the walk-ins left the same note as what Santa would have left, through possession the parents. That way, it's not like the fate of the child has changed, they're leaving fate the way it should be, it's just taking the soul a bit early to prevent the child from the pain.

My brain is tired. ;)

Foxy
