The image shivers suddenly, trembling, as if it has been struck an awful blow. As though in pain, it bends in on itself, then explodes outwards, ripping through you in a burst of sound and light that your eyes are forced shut and you are temporarily deafened. When you come to and open your eyes, it is dark again...but not as if in a dream. The vision is gone. You are back in the room. Others around you are completely still, locked in an expression of terror, anger, horror, or a mix of all three. But for you, for now, the nightmare is over.
