Subject: The one with Marjie and Terri and Detective White.

Syzygy...or what ever it is called. YOu know the one I mean. This is one of my favourite shows too. I love it because it shows up the connection between M and S even if they don't know it yet. What amazes me with M and S from a shipper point of view is that they have been acting possessive of eachother from a relationship perspective for ages. In fact I was very surprised to be reminded that they had only been together for two years when this ep aired.
Scully "We've been working together for two years now...but I didn't think you'd ditch me"
Mulder was acting like he was having trouble understanding his woman too. HIS woman. Scully was jealous of Detective White as if Scullly had a claim on Mulder. He tried to defend himself when Scully found him in the motel room with Detective White as if he felt Scully had a right to be upset. I can't believe they were acting this way after only two years together. But they did. It's there. It's clear and once again I must stress that in no way will Scully have that kind of relationship with anyone else. I know the cosmos was outta wack but..... it really brought home the blatant possessiveness each really felt for eachother even then.

I thought the story in this was also good. I was reading on the net last week some true ghost stories and one of them was the Bloody Mary one. It's actually somewhere in America where you can do this and BM IS supposed to appear. Can't remember where. I'll have to go back and see if I favourited the site. [Don't ask me why I was reading this stuff. I just got an idea and decided to go ghost hunting] It was creepy and different the way they had the people going on in mass hysteria.
I have also heard of the alignment of planets that is supposed to cause this. Can't remember where but I have read or heard about it since. XF is very good with their research. If not with continuity and consistency. :-)

I liked the way they had new leads only to find that things weren't as they first seemed. eg the bones...the doctor's bag...him being a cross dresser....the bones being the dog's bones etc. I love Mulder sniffing out the perfume. And the *hallway* scene was my favourite scene of all. Just like a married couple.. even way back then. Islangirl would love it. They do seem to have their best scenes in hallway's don't they? Even the tiffy ones. :-D

I can't really say much more about this ep. It was really enjoyable from a shipper 's point of view.
