About DD and about the internet.
My favourite scene by DD is after the kiss in Millenium. The expressions on his face are priceless. He can convey so much in his face alone. I also loved his expressions in HTGSChristmas. During the pop psych analysis. I think he's great.

As for spoilers on the internet etc. I also used to sit in anticipation of every new ep but then I got hooked on spoilers. I think S6 was my first spoiled season and although I missed out on alot of the suspense and surprise of each show, the wealth of other enjoyment I got from finding out, then seeing, discussing, speculating etc far outwayed the spoiling.

I too guessed what would happen in Req and then tried to pretend that I didn't really know....well I didn't ...for sure but then I ended up finding out for sure. I mean I knew anyway but had it uncomfirmed for quite some time. But even knowing the eps before watching them doesn't take away all the surprise. When people tell you or if you read about an ep you still don't know all the details and you imagine things that turn out to be different when you see it anyway.

{Psychologist"Do you realise you have been talking in the second person?"
Scully "Have I?" }

The enjoyment I get in being able to come here and talk about my favourite subject in all of it's aspects far outways the disappointment of knowing what will happen in the eps. I'm looking forward to the Mulderless eps coz i don't know anything about them due to lack of relative interest. The suspense fullfillment of watching those should balance out knowing about WI/WO and any Mulder eps that I might not be able to keep away from finding out about.

The X Files is special in alot of ways and it's internet fanbase connection is one of the major and 'unique' ones.

ps I don't have anyone else to talk to about XF. Noone I know really loves it. And only two people I know even like it.
