Dreamland is very good. You can get your teeth into a two-parter and in this case, the idea behind it made it very watchable. I see what you are saying - that we could have the Morris and Mulder swap their bodies in actuality. It would have been hard to play, though. The film Face Off, has a similar idea to this, with Nicholas Cage and John Travolta swapping faces only, and then they had to pretend to sound like or do impressions of the other. It all looked a bit complicated. I think with TXF version, we were treated to enjoyable oddities like Mulder doing the mirror dance and Morris's face appearing in the mirror as Mulder, just as he said "bitch", about Scully. A major tease.

I agree about the sunflower seed scene. It is one of my favourite M & S scenes. The small gesture between them was so significant. She even said "I'd kiss you if you weren't do damn ugly" It was nice to think that the essence of Mulder still shone through, even though, to Scully, he couldn't have looked more different. It made me very tearful watching that scene.
