Do I have the correct episode? The vampire one. I think this is the funniest show of all.
For the record there are three desks in Mulder's office in this ep. Yes, three so I don't know what Scully's problem is.

I love the two versions of the story. At the end when they come across the sherrif again I love Scully's smile and the way she looked at Mulder and touched her teeth. It was like...."Ha ha he doesn't have buck teeth." :-)

For once Mulder didn't have any flying leaps of logic and was as bamboozled as everyone else.

The couch scene is just great. The tie fixing and "I was drugged!" Scully used that as her excuse at the end too. I loved Mulder's last comment about the buck teeth.

I think this show was a good example of showing up the things that really bug Mulder and Scully about eachother. The way these little annoying things were exaggerated in each version of the story showed up the annoyance they create in the person telling the story. Maybe Scully gets jack of Mulder always being over enthusiastic about cases and he gets annoyed at how she is always the sad sack and is never motivated. Scully making the sherif into a very attentive man also showed how she might just like a man to be attentive to her for a change. And Mulder's version made Scully out to be kind of dipsy and dumb. He's probably sick of her always being clever and second guessing him.
This ep did a good job of showing up how they feel about eachother at times. You know, the little things that annoy us about our SOs. [My hubby always acts like there is a major emergency for the littlest things and it scares the life out of me. I hate that. In my version of stories about our family I always have him making a bigger fuss than he really did, to show people how annoying his overreaction to things can be. ]

The acting in this ep was really well done. I loved DD's manorisms and facial expressions in this.
It was also a good story. It kept us guessing. My hubby watched it with me and he had never seen it before. He thought having the vampires all living normally and then taking off at the end was good.

I just love this ep.
