"It's freezing out here. What are we doing out here anyway?" kande whines.

KS glares at her little sister. "Hush. We're trying to figure out who is throwing footwear at the mayor. This could well turn into an international incident."

"You wish," kande mutters. She's had enough and starts back toward the klub. A loafer goes whizzing by her ear. "What the...? Who threw that?" Kande spins and looks around wildly. "Come on out, you coward. WHO THREW THAT?"

KS has dropped to her belly and is scanning the rooftops through her mini binoculars. The mayor is wondering who would wear such a shoe. Why would anybody wear flats?

"Ah! I think I know who did it!" the mayor exclaims, whipping out her fine book. "To the library!"

"The library?" kande scratches her head. "You mean, Rabid threw this at me?"

"Who else would wear sensible shoes?"
