I agree with CW. Doggett and Reyes had a strong friendship. As I understood it they met while working on his sons disappearance. There was a bond formed but due to extenuating circumstance (sound familiar) they could not hook up. Doggett called Reyes to help him with the XF for her expertise. What I really liked about their relationship is that it took a turn after the episode where Doggett finally said goodbye to his son and let go of the guilt. Then there was more of a personal side to the couple, going out together, ect.

Reyes did have a past relationship with evil "Brad" one of the AD's. He wanted to rekindle it but she didnt.

Most of the residents of shipperville has moved to a small corner of facebook. Slow but we are still telling silly stories.
