I've been meaning to respond to a post of yours from a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not sure where it is now. I simply must stop allowing work duties to interfere with my social life.

I've been watching early episodes recently. I finished off season one, and am almost done with season two. It is really interesting to see how the relationship (small "r", of course) has developed.

In the first season, Scully seems to have a crush on Mulder, though he seems a bit nutty to her. I'd say it was the last episode of season one (when Deep Throat is killed) where she really began to think he wasn't so crazy after all. From that point on, she has a new respect for what he's accomplished and the difficulty he faces. Season two really strengthens the bond between them. I can't remember exactly what she says to Mulder while she's in the hospital after being abducted. Something like, "I had the strength of your beliefs." (Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about that scene.)

A couple of weeks ago, I had more to say on the subject. Now I can't remember most of it! Argh!
