I think the hand puppet thing will really work for them but my only concern is that the new show Crossing Jordan uses a hand puppet of a dog. Will this lead to character confusion among the viewers? Fox, DD, Dog, Doggett? You see the problem here, I am sure!

Okay, seriously, Stardoe, glad to see you posting regularly again but IMHO your editorial while touching is a little too optimistic. I have seen very little evidence that the Powers that Be at the X-Files "care about the viewers", if that was the case I think that they would have confirmed the MSR much, much earlier and more definately than they did. I do NOT expect that we will see more than a token reference to Mulder this Season.

However, the DREAM that Shiban set forth in his interview would in fact be a first in a TV Series and I would be VERY proud to be a fan of the show IF it were true. Currently, I all too often feel like the chump that my ex-phile friends accuse me of being for even watching Season 8. YES! I was pathetically glad to have received the scrap of confirmation at the very END of the Season but even that was just a "cute trick" on behalf of the writers.

My buddies have spent all summer de-programming me and then I went and read the Shiban interview and now I am euphoric again.
