I agree that the elevator scene in "Paper Clip" was great!!

Your last line, "But they're just good friends", has me a little confused, though. Do you mean they were "just good friends" at the time of "Paper Clip"?? Because if you do, shipper though I am, I have to totally agree with you. They were obviously just good friends at the time of "Paper Clip" and for several years beyond that point.
Or do you still believe, even after the events of "Existance" that Mulder and Scully have never done the Naked Pretzel together?? To me, the last lines and scene of "Existance" completely confirmed that William was Mulder's baby and that he had been conceived in a natural way.
