...Rabid is frantically trying to saw off the cast. "Drat! Why did it have to be my right arm? I'm right-handed, fer cryin' out loud!" she whines to no one. Finally, she gets through the plaster and peels off the cast. She removes the tiny video camera hidden beneath the cast, and rubs her arm. "Ew. Flabby. I must find a book on rehabilitation..." She wanders off to the health section of the library, then stops.

"No! That's not why I'm here!" She grabs the camera and runs to the audio-visual room. She hooks the camera to the television and begins watching. Watching the scene at the klub, she can't believe how whiny some Shippervillians are. How did she never notice this before? Just as she's about to give up, something catches her eye. She stops the tape, rewinds, then plays the tape, one frame at a time. Suddenly she hits stop. Her jaw drops as she gapes at the tv. "I can't believe it! That's the last person I would have suspected as being the mastermind behind this evil plot!"

Meanwhile, Kenamom is chatting with a woman under the hairdryer to her right. They can't hear each other, but that doesn't stop them from talking. The mayor pauses to pick out a shade of red for her nail polish. "MUST HAVE A BOLD COLOR FOR MY HEADLINE NEWS!" she shouts to the woman, who smiles and nods. "I'M GOING TO INSIST THAT MORONO USE A COLOR PHOTOGRAPH TO GO WITH MY BYLINE!" The woman nods again.

The mayor checks the progress of her manicure, then looks at the mysterious woman out of the corner of her eye. Something about her looks familiar, yet she can't quite place it. Who is she, why is she here, and how much can she pay in taxes?

The door swings open just as the manicurist begins applying the mayor's nail polish and KS walks in. Startled, the polish gets on the mayor's new tweed suit. The manicurist is horrified at her error and runs out of the salon, nearly knocking over JD.

"...but honey, Curly is bald, you see? So it's funny to call him Curly! See? See?" JD is pathetically trying to explain the Stooges to KS, who stopped listening about 10 minutes ago.

Before KS can check in, the mayor is in her face. "LOOK! LOOK WHAT YOU DID!" She points to the nail polish.

"That's not really your color, mayor," smirks KS.

Lowering her voice: "KS, do you recognize that woman under the hair dryer? Something about her isn't right."

KS peers over the mayor's shoulder. "She looks familiar, somehow, but I don't know where I've seen her before."

The woman looks directly at KS as if she knew KS and the mayor were talking about her. She smiles, displaying small, grayish teeth. KS walks over and hands her a card.

"Hi. I'm KS, town assassin and dentist. I think you can use my services." The woman grabs the card with a claw that has three fingers. KS returns to the mayor.

"She seems perfectly normal to me."
