Don't worry Matt, someone with a "don't come into my area" ego problem will try to put a stop to that. Forget about trying to help the people of this county. "It's not about the people, it's all about the departments"

Who really cares if a NUVFD truck rolls up to a car fire first inside the city limits and even puts the fire out. Like Matt said, volunteers have regular jobs too and MVFD's nearest member was comeing from Hall's. All the "Chiefs" and thier indians need to put thier ego's aside to help the people. If its save's one life, reduces the time someone gets emergency care, gets someone un-pinned from a crashed car, or even gets a snake out of thier house. The publics care should be first in mind. Drop the ego's and HELP the PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the public needs to do thier parts as well. All departments in the county (except MVFD) operate from your donations. Make a donation or pay a subscription, it's allways about the same they all ask for. Somewhere around $25 - $50 a year from every house in thier areas. Go to thier fund raisers, carnivals, suppers, auctions, rodeos, car shows, breakfasts, etc. Show your support, and remember that its about the people, neighbors, family and friends. helping each other by helping support the fire departments and squads in you area. In turn they help each other to help
