Subject: Let's talk about Doggett and Moronica in the finale (spoilers)

A. I want to keep posting on the Doggett Board
B. Doggett and Moronica have been overlooked in talking about the finale for obvious reasons
C. Doggett is hot

A to B to C ;-)

First off let me say that I refuse to believe RP was upset about the finale. Mostly because I lurve him and don't want to think he'd be petty and selfish.

Now, about this picture. I know this was an intense scene towards the end of the episode, but both Doggett and Moronica look good in their jeans with Doggett in his t-shirt and Moronica in her sleeveless buttondown. You know, they really have made her look good towards the end of the season, and she must be learning about acting because she no longer talks in the strange, staccato meter. Ahh, too little, too late, Moronica. Anyhow, when they were both running to their SUV and we got the nice behind shot of Doggett. *Nice*

Seriously though, what will become of the two of them? Will they still be in the FBI? I can't imagine why not, since it took them eight years to fire Mulder. But it looks like the X-Files are closed down, at least until the next movie.

I liked how Doggett rolled up Mulder's I Want To Believe poster and took it with him out of the office.

Doggett was ever the man of integrity when he was on the stand for Mulder. Though personally I don't think it would have killed him to say that even though he doesn't have evidence of aliens, that doesn't mean it is impossible for them to exist. Still, I think Mulder respected Doggett for sticking by his guns. It's certainly something he can relate to.

Same with Moronica in regards to the trial. She really went after all of the people in the court room in Mulder's defense. Maybe it was for nothing, but she put herself on the line for what *she* believed in. I think that in another time and another place, Moronica, Mulder, and Scully could all be the best of friends. Not Doggett, though. Doggett could be Moronica's husband who stays home to watch NASCAR while the three of them get together. In a completely alternate universe, of course, since Doggett and Moronica aren't in love.

All in all, I think Doggett and Moronica have the make up to be good agents on TXF. I'm sad to see them go.
