I am female, and I anxiously look forward to the mythology episodes. Sure it's convoluted and hard to follow and somewhat inconsistant, but it is so much fun! The mythology episodes are my favorite. Devlin is right, it is when we get the most character development. Not just of Mulder and Scully, but of Skinner, Krycek, Smoking Man, and all of the others.

I think that Islandgirl was right and wrong in her reasoning as to why this board is so empty. Most of the posters here are female, which I think is the wrong reasoning, but most are shippers, which is entirely correct reasoning. One of my main complaints about the MSR is that it seems to have greater life than the actual plots. It is slightly irritating to me that after an episode all of the focus is on the last fifteen seconds where there was an MSR moment rather than what happened in the episode. I love the MSR; I think it is one of the greatest things about the show. But I think it's only great when viewed as a backdrop to what is really going on, not as the reason to watch the show.

I'll climb off the soapbox now. I really only came over here to see that great picture of Nick, but detoured took it down!
