I missed this thread somehow. It's a fascinating question.

I prefer to believe that all the Sams we've seen were clones or hybrids using Samantha's genetic material. That one "head" clone at the clinic in End Game even referred rather reverently to Sam as if she were alive, or at least the original ova donor for hybrids, IMHO. I don't want to be told NOW that some of them were ABH throughout the years because its the same as revealing to us things that have happened off camera but treated as if we should know about them. It feels like cheating. Like changing the rules while playing.

But, we were told that the clones worked in abortion clinics because they had access to fetal tissue, so I suppose they could be clones of well, anyone after all.

arrghhh!
