But we can all live in hope.

Greed of Fox Studios is milking XF to death. And they will too. An opposite example is a show we have here called Sea Change. This was shown on the ABC which is our nationwide non comercial station. Sea Change is their biggest hit ever. The whole country practically loves it. Often the ABC gets a possible hit and one of the commercial stations snaps it up after one season. Anyway Sea Change has just finished after the third season on the ABC. The writers decided they'd had enough coz it was quite a hard show to write. Drama/comedy.

In various mag and news paper columns people have written their opinion as to whether the show should have been kept going. One person put it perfectly by saying ...let the show end with the fans wanting more. Let it be put to rest while it was still on top and of high quality. If a commercial station had have gotten hold of it , it would have been milked to death until everyone was sick of it and the quality disintergrated.

Hopefully not, but i think that is what is going to happen to XF. Only CC coming back with full force and putting in his all is what is keeping it afloat and what will keep it afloat. I wonder if he'll manage to do it? It's a catch 22. If CC doesn't manage to keep the show afloat XF will die a ratings loser. If he does do a good job then Fox will keep milking it. What a shame XF couldn't have ended a ratings winner but I don't think this is possible.

But as i said before......we can all live in hope.

Stardoe
