Scince not being my best subject, I really don't know as to the feasibility of successful test tube babies back in the early sixties. I don't know if he's Mulder's biological father or not, but it's pretty obvious that there was something more than just a scientific relationship between him and Mrs. Mulder once upon a time. Check out "Talitha Cumi" again. The implications are definitely there. I wouldn't be at all surprised if one of her childern turned out to be his. Actually I always found it far more difficult to believe that loathesome Jeffery Spender was really his son. (Sorry, I always hated him.) CSM may be pretty much of a moral leper, but he is a brilliant man. Jeffery was incredibly dense. Sure didn't inherit the brains in the family, did he?
