I used to date a guy in high school who had a male crush on another guy that we knew. He was always trying to do little things to impress him and he remembered all kinds of stuff about him, because he was so impressed with the guy as a whole. It was really sweet, but when I pointed it out to him he got all defensive (typical heterosexual male reaction) and had to prove his manliness by acting completely different around him. But you could tell he still had a crush on him by the way he went out of his way to not talk about him or whatever. I don't know if you're familiar with Seinfeld at all, but there was one episode that presented the male crush perfectly.

Ok, so maybe that is completely different from Krycek and Mulder, but I believe it's the same basic principle. I guess it's not that I firmly believe that Krycek *isn't* gay, it's just I believe what we see isn't a manifestation of that, but rather of the fact that Krycek is so impressed by Mulder as a whole. He doesn't have a way to let it out though. Am I making any sense at all? Because it makes perfect sense to me but I'm not sure if I'm putting it into words very well.
